Joe and I have 2 pending trades. In our first trade I agreed to send first and Joe agreed to send after he received my games. We created another pending trade while waiting for the first pending trade to close. I agreed to send this second part of the trade and Joe agreed to ship all of the stuff combined from both trades at once at the same time that I was sending the second set of items that we were trading since he had written an email saying that he had received the games from the first trade. These are the dates that everything I sent out my part of the deals, and the date that he said he would ship out his part:

- 1st trade: I sent my games April 25, 2003 (pended April 23, 2003), and he wrote me saying he received my games May 4.

- 2nd trade: I sent my games May 5, 2003 (pended April 29, 2003)

- He said he sent all games for both of these trades on May 5, 2003.

I have not received anything from him. He completed the first trade but claims not to have received second set of games, I find this hard to believe since it has been 2 months now and I have not received the games he agreed to send me.

I have been very patient and came through with my end of the deal. As soon as I receive the games that we agreed upon I will take this BTR down, but for all other traders reading this I would recommend that you Do Not trade with Joe (nikon, nes420, J. Bird). He has trades that are still pending from March, April, and May. I only want to finish this trade and get the games that I had agreed to trade for. I hope Joe gets in touch with me and I receive all of the games from our pending trades so I can take this BTR down.

me and him made a deal Before the BTR's appeared... so I trusted him ... We also pended the trade and somehow it disappeared on me I sent my stuff out now and im not so happy.... I better get what I traded for or get my stuff back or .. im getting the police involved in this IM Not JOKING JOE ... you best send me my stuff back or the Xbox Deal we made > I mean it damnit Im not a person to piss off!!!!!!!

I've pended two trades with Joe. First I sent him $25 via paypal and 3 wks subtime on 5-20-03 for 1) Nes River City ransom cart, 2) Nes Dogbone Controller Complete, 3) Nes Isolated Warrior. Next, I sent him a VHS Trainspotting 3 days later and he was supposed to throw $5 in with the games. I waited a while and the games (nor money) never arrived. I contacted him and he said that he sent the items and that he had a DC. I asked him for the #. Instead of giving me the #, he said that he would run by the post office and check it out. He contacted me and said that the post lady had improperly scanned the DC and that it did not work. I told him that I'd wait two more weeks for the items to arrive. He agreed that he'd send me a money order after that time. Two weeks went by and I contacted him. I offered to eat the shipping costs and the cost of the money order if he'd send one. He agreed to send a money order for $28. Well, no money order. Since I know another person that has filed a BTR, I figure that I'll never get that money order.
I've sent a complaint to paypal (hopefully I'll get some money back).
Update.
Yeah, I won the paypal dispute. Boo, it's been more than 30 days so paypal won't give me any money.
Also, seems as though Mr. Carr is quite busy. Not only is he in Europe, but he's fixing his brother's roof (who has a US phone #), and counting his stolen money $$$. Oh well, I think a few of us are going to file a Mail Fraud claim.

So sad when a good trader goes bad. Ok here is my story. I came home one day to find an email from Joe. Saying he has some NES boxes and manual I need and one game. So we get two talking, strike a deal and decide to send at the same time. HE doesn’t have a scanner so he can’t send me a picture of items unless he sends to friends house, has them scan and the sent back to him. I look at feedback and decided to trust him. I send my part out $40 money order and complete Trolls on Treasure Island. I still have receipt for postal money order and delivery confirmation. So a week later I’m still waiting for my items. Email him tells me there was a death on wife’s side of family and has not had time to send. Ok tell him that’s ok sorry for his lost. 2 weeks go by now they are lost in mail. Didn’t have money for 55-cent delivery confirmation but did have $1.30 to insure it. Asked him to scan postal receipt and insurance slip so I can see, again was told no scanner cant send pictures. Told me he didn’t have a chance to cash money order to use that money to ship with. Hmmm…. Postal money order, seem easy enough to two cash at post office. I was going to wait a few more days to file this but I can see now the lies are growing. I will keep this up until I get my money and game back. Or my items he promised in trade.

6/27/03 I have now filed a mail fruad report. I hope others will do the same. Maybe then he will come thruogh on some of these Trades.

7/4/03 OK I have not heard anything for Joe, No attempt to make good. I will be calling his local police department Monday. I will file a theft report, Then I will forward the officers name in charge to everyone that has left BTR so we can combine our efforts in this matter. I will be on vacation next week. Just taking sometime off, I'm not going anywhere so I will have alot of time to work on this. I'm make it my pet project for the week.

7/7/03 OK no answer at local police department. I did find number to local sheriff that will be paying a visit to Joe sometime today. Seems the Sheriff already knows who he is, Good thing or bad thing? I'll bet on bad. I have emailed everyone that has a BTR up here with info. I will also let everyone know what the sheriff says when he calls me back today. The phone # to sheriff is 1-903-582-5194 if you want it. I put it in everyones email also.

7/17/03 Got my letter from the post office today for mail fruad. Joe should have is also or will sooon. I'll see if this gets him moving at all. I will fill my form out and return if I don't hear from him soon.
