We agreed to trade my Age of Wonders 2 for his Mafia (both complete), with both of us shipping at the same time. I sent my part First Class Airmail on July 11, and emailed him confirming this. No reposnse was sent by him, but initially I wasn't too concerned. On July 24th, I get an email notifying me that he had deleted our trade. I contacted him to see he was deleteing a trade in progress. (I'm convinced my part of the deal was in his hands at this point, as a week and a half is about right for my shipping along the east coast). He emailed back and apologized stating that had deleted the trade "by accident". I repended the deal, and 4 days later I get notified that he's trying to have his account closed. I've been in touch with him once since then, and he maintains that he has sent Mafia........ Bullcrap I say......

If he ever does the right thing, and follow through with trade as he promised, this BTR will come down. Until then EVERYBODY avoid this guy like the plague.

When we first started this trade, this guy was very promt to answer my e-mails and questions. We agreed that we would send around the same time if possible and would trade NOLF2(mine) for WarcarftIII(his). So he sent me his address and i got very busy for around 3 or so days. Felling bad that i didnt send his on time like I said I would, I quicky went to the post office and sent it Priority(we had origanly said to send first class) I did not want to make him feel that I was screwing him over.

So after a few weeks since I had sent the package, and I had not recived my package. So I sent him a friendly e-mail asking if he had got mine and if he had sent his part of the deal. He said "No" to both and siad that I forgot to tell him my address.
Ok I see how that part is my own fault but...
1. Why not tell me that I forgot to tell him my addres?
2. Yes you have gotten it, Its been a few weeks and priority takes like 2 days.
3. You tried deleteing your account durring many trades that you holding.

After he sent that I qukcily apoligized for forgeting my adress and sent him an email with it.
Its been some time and I still havent heard back from him. So i sent him a more threating leter saying "if I dont not hear an answer back or get either Warcraft 3 or NOLF2 in the mail, I am going to contact the police in his area."

(If only I lived in PA I might take a little road trip to say hello)

I still havent head back from him, and I will take away the BTR after I either get my old game back or Warcraft 3. I don't mind long waits but I can't tolerate getting ripped off. Please NO ONE trade with him until all these are gone!

Now, I have to clarify before I continue that I was in the process at the exact time I received this email of trying to find someone to trade Unreal Championship 2003 for the XBOX for SOF II for the XBOX, I misread this trade for that, instead of the PC games.

As of the time I sent this on Saturday, I had already shipped Unreal Championship for the Xbox (by mistake as noted above), and he had not setup the trade as he said he would on Thursday the 10th. Here's his next response, which is where I started to feel uneasy about this trade -

Fine, Monday is not a problem, as long as it gets done. What urked me about this email was the "really busy" and "I have to go right now" parts... if you've got a few minutes to send an email you can surely setup a trade that would take about the same amount of time.

It's now the following wed, 2 days after he said he'd set up the trade, he still hadn't so I did some more searching on GameTZ and found his profile and set it up. Also realizing at this point that I sent him the wrong game and asked him what he wanted to do next. 5 days after we were supposed to ship, I still haven't received SOF 2. Here's his response -

As of now, I still haven't received the Xbox game back, nor SOF2. I have not sent UT to him, and won't at this point unless I get my game back and SOF2. Here's my next response -

To this point I have not received either of the games, nor have I received any further communication from Pete.

Today I received a package from Mr. Roussev. It was return addressed (and postmarked from as well) the following address -

In the package was "Age Of Mythology", which was not part of our trade. No note, or anything else in the package.

Pete - if you're reading this, I'll be more than happy to return this to you when you send me back my Xbox game I accidently sent to you and you said you would return to me. The trade we agreed upon originally is dead, I will not honor it. If I happen to receive SOF from you as agreed upon originally I will return it to you with Delivery Confirmation, Insurance and Signature Required USPS delivery. If I don't receive anything from you by October 11th, I'll take that as you screwing me and will keep this game as compensation. If I receive anything after that point, too bad for you.

He sent me an e-mail wanting to trade for my copy of SimCity4(PC) and in exchange he would send me Shinobi(PS2) & Contra(PS2). Here is the email I received:

I agreed to do this trade and we also agreed that I would send first since he had more trades completed than I did. So, I boxed up SimCity4 and sent it to him via UPS. I then emailed him with the tracking number: 1Z3326YY0396996938. UPS delivered the package to him on July 22nd. The very next day I get an email from him saying that he deleted the trade. So, I wrote back:

So, I figured something was not right here. He thought I didn't want to do the trade yet he already had the game in his possesion. So, I immediately set the trade back up. I then wrote him, asking if he had received the game. I told him according to UPS they delivered the package to him, to his front door on Tues, July 22nd. I get this response back from him almost a week later:

Ok, so he was busy..understandable. I then receive two emails from GameTZ. One stating that he was trying to delete his account but noticed that there was a pending trade and they wanted to know, from me, what the status was. The other was a notice that he had been reported as a 'Bad Trader' from another user. I replied to the GameTZ moderator explaining to him/her the situation and got a response saying I should file a BTR on him. Before I did I thought I would send one more email asking if he would send my games and also send them with a tracking number. I received a response back saying he would send the games to me on Wednesday, July 30th. On the morning of July 30th I received this email from Peter:

I wrote him and told him thanks for sending the games and also for giving me a tracking number. I told him once I received them I would complete the trade. So, I thought maybe he was busy and in my email I told him I understood his situation being busy and all and that I get pretty busy too. In fact, it took me a week from the time we set the trade up before I actually shipped his game to him because I was busy. However I did email him on the day I shipped the package telling him I was sorry for the delay and gave him the tracking number.

Well, I received his package on Monday, August 4th and inside the package was not the games we agreed on....in fact it wasn't even a game at all....it was a book. So, this is why I'm filing a BTR on Pete Roussev. Please avoid doing any transactions with this user or you'll just end up getting screwed.

In a nutshell, Pete never sent me the games he was supposed to. He proposed a trade of Enter The Matrix (mine) for Black & White and Neverwinter Nights (his), and I mailed him my game on 7/14.

He encouraged me to send him my game first, pretended it never arrived, and cancelled the trade without checking with me first. I can see from the other bad trades that I'm not the first person he's ripped off, but I hope I'll be the last! If he's not a scam artist (though I honestly believe he is after seeing other people's comments), he could send me the games he promised. People like him give trading a bad name and make it hard for legitimate people to get by.

I'm not trying to be a jerk about this, but it's really very frustrating to be taken advantage of. Even if, hypothetically, I misinterpreted the situation, he still cancelled the trade without communicating to me and has been very difficult to deal with. He even claimed that he called the police on me, though it isn't clear what his damages were (remember - I sent the game, he has sent nothing). I would love for him to send me the games as we agreed, but I'm not very hopeful. I encourage you to think very hard and look at all the bad trade reports filed against him before trading.

I will file my own BTR on you if you do not come clean. You have neither a DC number nor insurance to prove that you sent the game and you are a newvie. If he does not take this down and treat me civilly I will file a BTR on him and I will talk to the police in his town. Please don't make me have to do this.
