I'd like to use my DSLR + tripod for some decent shots, but I don't know if it's worth spending $100 on a tripod or if I should settle with a $30 one. As of recently, I haven't worked on digital photography much. I've been concentrating on using my film SLR for school assignments.

I've been getting into film photography too actually. I set mine on that tripod I got since it seems sturdy enough (most time) and it's not an expensive camera. I'd go check them out at the store and make sure, if you really care about your camera.

Yeah, I'll go to the local camera store and check out what tripods they have available; I need to buy film anyways. I love the way film looks when printed.
