one day when i was like 10 we were going to church and our neighbors cat was just sitting in the middle of the road and not moving (like she was sitting upright but she didnt run away when the car was approaching her) so i got out to see what was going on and her tail had been run over and there was no skin on it. the tail was just bloody bone. so we picked her up and put her on their porch so she wouldnt get ran over. they were gonna take her to the vet the next morning but overnight she gnawed her own tail off and it healed on its own! the vet got NO money from that one |
