Haven't slept in like a day and a half trying to stay up and get my sleep schedule back on track so gonna cut the grass in a bit for the sake of doing something I won't fall asleep doing. |

The worst flood of Cedar Rapids, perhaps ever, is upon us! Of course, guess who's in the 500 Year Flood Plain? I've been yelling at tourists all day to get the fudge out of the way. Fudging cameras everywhere, PICK UP A SHOVEL.

I've been trying to figure out who this old guy is in my sig... Driving is shiggy, passenger seat is Reggie Fils-Aime, behind Shiggy is Satoru Iwata, but who the crap is the old guy next to Iwata-kun?
Anybody know?

I baked some apple crisp, picked at my landscaping job, and just finished up some chipping practice for the golf tourney on Saturday. I havent played in over a year.

The three I know are, yes. Reggie is president of NoA, Iwata-kun is president of the whole company, and Shiggy is the creator of Mario, Link, and others.

Richie, I don't think it is. As vDub said, Gunpei Yokoi developed the GameBoy, but it doesn't look at all like the same guy.

Kinda' bummed. Thought I landed a design job, but someone else with more qualifications got it. Certainly, that makes perfect sense, but it still sucks for me that I didn't get the job. |

Yes, it does suck, though. Mandatory evacuations in my zone now, so I'm out at the family farm in a neighboring town. The main concern has become looters, so I need to go back tomorrow and rescue as much of my crap as possible, and pick up my dog and two cats from my Grandma's and bring them out here. Tomorrow is going to suck big time, as will the next 10 days. Right now it's looking like my basement will be destroyed completely, got absolutely everything out of it, but it will obviously take the carpet.
Things are bad, gentleman, and getting worse. THAT'S WHAT I'M DOING RIGHT NOW.

Yeah, I can't sleep, obsessing over radar and the storms looming on us right now, so I'm just gonna head back into town in half an hour when curfew is up (9:00 PM - 5:00 AM during the flood) and get sandbagging, both at my house and then for the city.
