They keep saying it's ~60 here and it's mostly gloomy as fudge, but the temperature is also hot as fudge for some weird reason. I really hate the weather this year. |

You have no idea how bad the weather has been in Washington this year though.
It's almost unbearable. Like, it's just rain and cold, then all of a sudden we get like two back to back gorgeous hot days during the week and we get tricked into thinking that the nice weather is finally here to stay. Then the weekend hits and it rains and pours on us again. |

sounds like a really rough lifestyle. How do you cope with the inevitable stress? I can't even imagine being in such an unfortunate weatherly situation. Gosh, that's awful.

But in all seriousness though Dre, isn't Croatia like a vacation spot and pretty nice year round?
For someone who hates the rain as much as I do, and more enjoys the desert and dry heat and sun type weather, the weather up here in the Northwest can get kind of depressing at times. I wouldn't mind it so much if we weren't just always bombarded with it. |

vaca spot, yeah, at least most parts (Istria region, Dalmatian region mostly)....but not really year round. I mean, take Dubrovnik for example, where I live. It's nice weather overall, but it still gets cold and windy and crap during the winter, and really hot in the summer. It's pretty normal. It's not like mild warm weather all year long. Then other parts of Croatia, specifically more north, it's the same crap except it gets even colder during winter. I don't mind normal weather though...winters should be cold and summers should be hot!

Agreed, but we don't even have seasons here. We're guaranteed rain, and then every now and then we get a good summer, and every now and then we get raped by snow and other bad weather in winter.
I think the thing that's so tiring right now is that I know it can be really beautiful here during the Summer, and I love it then, but we just had like on of the worst Winters in 50 years, and this rain is now becoming unrelenting, so everyone's just ready for that Summer weather to hit. |

I doubt they would pull him aside for a cigar cutter unless it was bloody and he was cutting off fingers with it like a suited Russian mafianette

I'd say no to the cutter Nick. I mean, you can't even bring liquid on the plane, so I'd put it in the cargo just in case. We accidentally left a swiss army multipurpose knife in the carry on and the guy made us cut the lock to get it out (the keys were on the knife ) and they confiscated it. It was a nice one too. |
