QB: A. Rogers, GB #27 - He looks good!
RB: A. Peterson, MIN #1 - I hate having the first pick, but I don't think anyone should pass on A. Peterson.
WR: S. Smith, CAR #28 - I'm nervous about him, but he's proven to be a stud in the past.
WR: D. Bowe, KC #55 - No T. Gonzalez means lot of redzone attention for him.
WR/RB: S. Holmes, PIT #81 - I'll switch between him and E. Royal depending on who they play.
TE: J. Witten, DAL #54 - My #1 TE, but the 3rd taken in our draft. I actually likes D. Clark too, but no TO should be a good thing.
K: S. Gostkowski, NE #136 - My #1 kicker.
DEF/ST: Vikings, MIN #109 - Not my 1st choice, but they shouldn't give up many points.
Bench
M. Cassel, KC #135 - He was there at pick 135. I had to take him. Then again, I now have two players from KC.
W. McGahee, BAL Added after week #1.
C. Taylor, MIN #108 - A. Peterson's hanydcap. A stretch at 108, but I couldn't let anyone else have him.
R. Mendenhall, PIT #162 - I know, I'm weak at RB depth. But, I have A. Peterson, and you only NEED to start one RB.
E. Royal, DEN #82 - Picked back to back with S. Holmes. I don't know who I'll actually start.

My RB depth is abolished right now. I have Smith, Moreno and Slaton. Smith might not play next week and Slaton is getting benched prob. Im trying to trade for a RB but everyone is declining. Im even offering up Andre Johnson, Randy Moss and others but no one wants

I just traded Marion Barber and Brandon Marshall for Tim Hightower, Antonio Gates, and a (probably late) second round pick. I'm not entirely thrilled with the trade, but I needed a tight end. I had Cooley, but after he went down, I was left with Dante Rosario (also injured), Chris Baker, and Randy McMichael. Even with Hightower losing carries to Wells, he's fairly valuable with the .5 ppr settings and his ability to find the end zone. Considering anyone else who responded to offers for TEs wanted Vincent Jackson for average guys, I think I did alright. | LiL_Ramsey

Definitely a much better trade than the one I was trying to get out of you, you made out well all things considered. Plus, once Cooley comes back, you'll be able to deal him or Gates and get a solid guy/s in return. | CenturionElite

Well I managed to get Moats off of waivers, so if Slaton does get benched at least I have a backup.

What I thought was going to be my worst or second worst team should be 9-0 after this week unless something insane happens tonight and tomorrow. I had huge performances from Warner, Moss and Clark to help rack up 166 points. | mackey

Forte and Mendenhall have tough matchups against good rushing defenses, so both are giving me some pause. | Lino

minus hightower.... beanie's starting to run pretty well and the AZ rb's are too inconsistent fantasy-wise to rely on them when you have 3 other capable, starting tailbacks that get a majority of the workload

Gah I need everyone's help. I traded Johnson for Mendenhall. I think its a good trade and my RB core has been decimated every week.
Now I need to get a WR off waivers. I might pick up Roy Williams, its only for one week. In any case I still have Moss, Sidney Rice and Hakeem Nicks so I just need some backup. But its only a two RB league and I have Mnedenhall, Moreno, Moats, Slaton and Smith on my roster. I am already dropping Moats but I was thinking of dropping one more to pick up another WR. Who would everyone else drop?

I would pick up Favre, viks play the Lions this week... great matchup for Favre (though if AP gets hot, favre might just manage)
I would never suggest dropping Manning, though he has been struggling... Orton is good, but just good... Little chance of a big game, just average games... I would drop Orton and start Favre next week... hope for big numbers

Yah well it had to be done. My RB core sucked and I was gonna lose every match from now on without a solid starter. If it fails, it fails I wont lose sleep over it. This is for fun for me, and its my first year doing it so either it works out and I feel good or it sucks bad and I learn for next year.

Is it a ppr league? If not, it might not be that bad. One of my leagues really undervalues WRs. In that league, Vincent Jackson is the top scoring WR with 75 points, while the top RB has 140. Johnson (7th highest scoring WR) has 63 points and Mendenhall (16th highest scoring RB) has 74 points. You probably could have gotten more than Mendenhall for him, though.

No its not a PPR league. Mendenhall has been averaging more points than AJ in our league, so its about even.

2nd place in my league... first place guy has peyton... had to make a big move
just got a trade accepted
traded away - Mcnabb and Gore
received - Brady and Bush
I am basically going to bench Bush unless he somehow becomes good overnight (not likely)
now I am worried about my #2 RB spot... I have Mojo #1... I have Julius Jones and Darren Sproles...
trying to trade away some of my extra WRs for a RB to fit my #2 spot
I want to feel good about this trade, but Gore is sooo good, and Brady hasn't been himself but I am hoping he turns it up second half

just learned that my league has a move minimum.. which the owner didnt bother telling me about... thats fudgeed up, he is #1, and im #2
so i dont know, i need to pick up a db (injury) but with lack of moves who knows)
jones is hurt too now... and sproles hasnt done anything in a few weeks
the #1 guy just made a bs trade
he got Schaub, Fitz, and bradshaw... for Peyton, C Johnson and Kevin Jones
i think he is buying people off.. thats a bs trade... schaub is doing really well this year... (he made this trade cause he know they would probably bench peyton the last few weeks of regular)

everytime i have an awesome week, my opponent somehow has an amazing week and beats me. every time I have an average week I win. it gets annoying.
