Going to camp tomorrow morning, after see if I can get a LG Blount or Marcellus! Wallace (Bennett) jersey on clearance at the pro shop. Interested to see Cooks and new guys in action.

Anybody else checking out their teams in camp?

We also decided that while we still like the Falcons, the Eagles are our favorite NFC squad.

And a garbage call... (Mariota fumble)

Kelce done on a helmet to helmet. Probably out multiple weeks the way they do things now. He was out.

Wow, Vegas impacting this game now? Refs just took a crap the last 5 minutes of the half.

Definitely get rid of Sutton and Alex. Sutton in particular as his defensive schemes are quite tired.

Why are Chief fans so anxious to run Smith out for the rookie? Smith had what 26 tds and 5 ints?

Send him to Jacksonville. We'll show you how its done with a complete package.

At least he won't go to the Browns, they're probably drafting a QB with one of their 1st round picks. Cardinals maybe? Palmers retiring and I don't think Stanton is the face of their franchise.

Because KC isn't a complete package, and Alex Smith will never elevate his teammates. Smith would do great in Jacksonville (or Denver), might even get that elusive SB (in a Brad Johnson way). Also this:

http://chiefswire.usatoday.com/2018/01/03/aqib-tal...

Chief's gave up a small ransom to get him in the first, and he's looked pretty darn good when given a chance to play (with back-ups).

This could be an interesting few years of football. Brady, Brees, Cheeseburger, Rivers, Manning on the twilight. Rodgers, Ryan, Stafford, Cam, Wilson seasoned vets. Wentz, Goff, Watson, Jimmy G up and coming. Jags a QB away from being SB favorites. Denver a QB and O-line away from being SB favorites. Carr gets Gruden. Mahomes with Hill, Hunt and Kelce. Whatever Dak, Mariota, crab legs, Luck/Brissett, Tribisky, and Minnesota/Keenum are. This has to be one of the more interesting eras for QB's, yet the reality is most people wonder how many rings TB12 ends up with.

There were a couple but I'll grant you the drops. End of the day this was on Andy and no one else really. They weren't playing Brady here, they gave the game to the crapty tacks. If I was a Chiefs fan I wouldn't be blaming the refs, but that fat choke artist of a coach.

Reid wasn't (supposedly) calling any plays. Matt Nagy took over offensive playcalling after week 11, and Bob Sutton calls the defense (needs to go). I'll side with Hammer, Alex Smith wasn't wildly inaccurate. On his misses most just barely missed, he never really threw a bad ball into coverage. Mariota was much worse than Alex Smith. I'll repeat:

All I wanted was a good, clean game. I got niether. If Tennessee had come out and just outplayed KC it would have been fine. I'd still be asking for trading Smith and releasing Sutton. Instead we have a game with horrible officiating (it went both ways, but hurt KC more), and an injured player on a bush league hit.

Doesn't matter, neither Ten nor KC are/were going to the SB this year. Still rooting for Jacksonville or anyone in the NFC to get some new blood in there, but pretty much expecting NE to take it, maybe Pit if they can win in the Fox. Either way it'd be another crapty year in the NFL imo.

IDK, Jax played poorly last two weeks, Bills pretty high (just saw a feature on Bills fans massive contributions to Andy Dalton charitable foundation), Shady giving it a try, another upset in the making? Would like to see Jax at Steelers, missed the first one. Wouldn't think anyone but Steelers can challenge in Foxboro.

I now understand Chief fan skepticism and sense of impending doom, unfortunate, they have some explosive players. Certainly capable as they showed in the kickoff game.

lol at the meme.

Lastly, I'm not doom and gloom on KC. I'm excited for the first time in 30 years KC will be starting their home grown 1st round talent at QB, and he has 3 of the most explosive weapons at their position to throw to. Also has a cannon for an arm, was was good enough to impress Talib and Von. There will be growing pains (Mahomes was known as the QB who could put up outrageous numbers but not win.. irony?), but they should be fun to watch.
