I love Steve Carell from the Daily Show days to The Office and the movies he's done. But this one just was not any funny to me, I think we turned it off after an hour or so.

Dark Knight - What with the hype? It's good, but with all the hype, it only got a blergh out of me. 8/10
PS. No wonder I put it off for so long before deciding to watch it.
PPS. I did watch it in two sittings. Maybe I'll give it another shot with just one sitting. We'll see.
I the new spoiler tags system, bill is the god of code.
"Do you know what he said while he coughed up his lifeblood? "Except corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone." Wheat, eh? There's enough of it, we can afford to waste as much as we want. Like my head, you see?"
Bickford Shmeckler's Cool Ideas - 6/10 - At times it tries too hard to be a quirky college comedy, and it's not breaking any new ground, but overall it was worth the 80 minutes. Patrick Fugit is likable and there are some solid cameos by Harold from Harold and Kumar, Cheryl Hines, one of the guys from Big Bang Theory, and Matthew Lillard.

Didn't know that. :(
Edit: Apparently he was 45. Are we both talking about Bob?

I think it was very well done, but the show just didn't do it for me. I think the main reason is that it's a very depressing show and becomes more depressing as time goes on. There seems to be no hope for any of the main characters. I liked the first two movies, though.
If anyone wants it on Blu-ray, I have it available.

I agree, it's a great show. I only wish they weren't cancelling SG:A as it's riding a wave of very high popularity right now, and the series is very interesting right now.
I felt SG:A was getting pretty boring. It did pick up near the end of the season though.
Have you heard about the new show? Stargate: Universe I think it's called. It's supposedly not a spinoff like Atlantis, but still set in the Stargate world obviously.
Also, feel free to check my list for Terminator: TSCC Bluray.

Shameless plug for nihon's Blu-Ray--very worth it .
I felt the same way when the wife and I were watching it during the original network showing. I just couldn't get into it. We let the final few episodes go too long and they ran into the WALL that was the summer Olympics, dying at the foot of the DVR. However, returning to the series on Blu-Ray had me feeling completely different--I had a blast from beginning to end. No idea what changed, but I'm excited to watch some of Season 2 .
That's cause they packed a lot of it into it, since there was no show afterwards for more storyline to run and show.
Mentioning Terminator: Sarah chronicles, I tried to watch the show but past the first few episodes I just couldn't.
I like Summer Glau, but I just didn't think she was right for the part. I felt a guy would have been better ( guess I 'm used to Arnie or such). It just seemed a bit cheesy to see her kicking the huge terminator guys butt and things, I know she's not human but just the way it played out.
Then you had the cheesy cheesy lines, like in the first episode when the guy starts to shoot up the classroom and then says "class dismissed" or whatever, he's a freaking robot for crying out loud, it just didn't seem right.
Like in T1/T2 (I don't count T3), Arnie didn't act like that, because a robot would act more logical, hence why Arnie would ask him about simple things that he didn't grasp the concept of (crying, laughing, etc), so he would learn such things.
