It's got some hot doges in it, so I'll eventually check it out.

Doubt - 4/10 - very boring, nothing really happening in the movie. Good acting which is why I gave it a four, but overall, the movie sucked, it was a long and strung out story with no resolution at the end, a very pointless movie.

My first major feature film is gonna be called "Hot doges". Not a porno tho.
I'll probably follow that up with my next one titled "Action".

It's definitely not going to be airing earlier than 10pm. Pretty graphic for network television.
And it's re-airing this Saturday, I believe.

It was good, but it's no Shield.
I found the pacing to be a bit too fast. They see to be going for the more gritty realistic side of police but in the first episode they had all kinds of things going down, they didn't really build up the characters or anything beforehand.

Exactly my thoughts, too much random crap happening for no real reason. But Ive also ben spoiled by the Shield(at least the first 5 seasons).

Tokyo Zombie
Score: 4/10
The Japanese should stay with anime...the movie starts pretty good with some funny moments but ends up too weird and uninteresting. Horrible makeup effects as well. |

Considering the nature of the first day on the job, the pacing makes sense. There's just enough tidbits about each character to give you a glimpse of who they are without any real build-up, which I enjoy. I don't desire character build-up out of the box every time, it's nice when a movie (or book, or show) can jump into the action, hint at what makes a character tick, and then slowly fill in the gaps as time progresses. I thought the first episode was masterful.
Is the Shield as good as everyone says? With everyone jizzing all over it now and in the past, it's kinda turned me off, lol--still looks interesting, though, may check it out one day.

Yeah, but why did that guy whack that lady in the head and then just sit there and wait til she woke up?
They kinda do a 180 on the viewer showing all the funny shows and the blam! drama! I dont think it works in the same way ER did all those years. Maybe show it the same night 24 is on(different time of course) and then I'd probably get into it more.
You should really watch the Shield up until season 5, just a flat out amazing show *jizz*. It's totally different than Southland, but it's the best cop drama I've ever seen.

Twilight - 6/10 - While it wasn't an awful movie, it wasn't that great, either. It suffered from a poor script and really funky makeup issues. The actors were only so-so, as well. If, as people say, the movie was better than the book, that doesn't say much for the book.

Yes Man - 8/10: My wife has really been wanting to see this, but I wasn't too excited about it. I ended up really liking it. Jim Carey was really funny. I don't usually like Zooey Deschanel all that much, but I really enjoyed her in this. It was predictable, but really enjoyable. |

Hannah Montana Movie - Exactly what I expected. My daughter loved it, though...and I love Billy Ray .
Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist - Wonderful little love story, loved everything from the setting to the characters to the soundtrack. Most excellent.
Saw V - Not bad, but not all that memorable.
