I am having an issue with DVDFREAK007. With no contact at all since the 28th and having not logged in since the 1st [though he has been demoted to silver not gold anymore so that math is a little mind boggling]
I am wondering how long I should wait. I send email and trade message and no reply at all. I see past BTRs for games but I am not being a rental service especially with DVDs that can just be ripped.
Any help would be appreciative and I hope he returns soon. I've given him a final "deadline" for a week from today to produce his side of the trade or I and the other trader, seemingly left in limbo, will be pursuing legal processes.
Just would like some advice. I was too early to jump the gun on a trader who clearly does not know how to properly message [he left his "message" that he sent in my feedback rather than in the trade listing and never contacted me again] but ended up coming through just some miscommunication but I at least got my end of the bargain. This guy just leaves and does not reply to any message.
Thanks in advance. |

Indeed -- in my head, when I picture Outinthedark in court in Kentucky for this, the judge says "So, what'r ya'll here fer today?".
Also, Outinthedark has to explain what the "in-ter-net" is.
Also, there is banjo music all the time in the background...

I break things up into points and discuss them individually. It seems more like face-to-face to me. When face-to-face with someone having a discussion, you generally do not have one person speak for 5 minutes and then have the other respond to all the points made during their 5 minutes (well, maybe when we're running for President). Instead, someone would make one point and then the other would respond to it -- then they'd move on to the next. That face-to-face style is what I tend to do on the internet too. Some people like it because it details each point -- others don't like it at all.
It can't be too much worse than quoting a page worth of text just to add a one-liner...

I did send a physical letter...maybe he got that?

Ok well 4 days later no update...not logging in...no nothing...
Should I go ahead and file the warrant now? This is getting a little ridiculous...

Well he did log on the one time so he should have the shipping info he said he didnt have. You would think if hes having problems with his internet hed right it down when he had the chance.
I still find it hard to belive hes a scammer since we did trade 6 times and the last packaage he sent me like 17 wrestling dvd sets. I woulda thought a scaammer would have done it in that kind of a big
trade. But yea this is going to far now. |

I think I have been patient enough. Just forwarded shadow the paperwork he needs to file. I'm pressing criminal charges.

No news from his county yet. I'm sure it is buried in paperwork. I know it is like that here. I have a free day tomorrow and I actually need to get a local police report filed as well.
This is irritating. Shadow did not respond to my email either. Not sure if he filed or not.

lol I know. This guy was all pissed I had the same name and he was worried about people not trading with him because of me since I used to be a bad trader.
Its kinda ironic that I am still making good trades and getting perfect feedback and hes getting police reports against him. =) |
