So the xbox live code generator is now a reality. It can generate with about 60% accuracy. We are having many users start up accounts and sell these stolen codes. The word needs to be spread to make sure people aren't getting ripped off. The codes that these new users are selling people are going to work the problem is they are stolen codes and could have ramification down the road. There seem to be new users everyday selling these. I fell for it as well. Be careful of buying codes off of people. |

I told him I wanted to buy 2 4000 point cards… And he refuses to respond.
Bill look at this PM
http://gametz.com/PM/63328.html#new
He also started a new thread in Classifieds after bill posted that warning / link back to this thread.

I’m getting major bad gut feeling from this guy… Throughout my career I’ve learned that these feelings are typically right I’ve worked too many fraud cases and the verbiage he uses is all too familiar.
Funny how he is dying to sell all these codes but wants no part in selling to a cop
No problem though… bill and Paypal have more than enough information to help ole Microsoft out should that day come…

jollyz did respond to the PM I sent him and I got a similar response as I got from cflo. He says he has a legit source.
It's hard for me to prove anything one way or another. I have no proof that something shady is going on. So far, there have been a lot of codes sold by both of these guys and no problems. Given what has been said about generators and cflo's willingness to provide images of the cards, I don't get the impression these are generated codes.
As always, all trades are conducted at your own risk. If this seems shady to you, don't do it.
Otherwise, unless we have solid evidence that there's a problem, I can't act against these people. At this point, all I really know is a lot of people have gotten XBL codes from these guys at good prices and they are happy. |

You guys see the latest rumor? The mass bulk came from a bunch of chinese guys who hacked American credit cards and spread these out to make profit. They're legit; just probably at someone else's expense.

I have a feeling they have to be from something fishy. If they are from wholesalers like people are saying, why the heck weren't they being seen online discounted from the beginning? I'm going to hold off purchasing any until Microsoft posts some sort of statement about these. |

As far as anyone is concerned there is no such thing as a Microsoft point code generator. It could be possible to test random numbers+letters within the requirements until a code is found, but that would take forever.
And codes are activated when bought (or at least are not "generated" until they are printed or sold).
When it comes down to it, they have to be real codes. |

After doing more research, I don’t think our current users are pirates… Or even know people in the "scene".. Just punk ass kids taking us for a ride by purchasing them cheaper on ebay and then marking them up for us…
No wonder they don’t want to give a real source…. If anyone wants to give me free money to buy stuff off ebay for them just let me know….

http://cgi.ebay.com/XBOX-LIVE-ZUNE-1600-4000-MICRO...
The means these codes come from are shady to say the least… PegWIN’s solution sounds like it makes the most sense…
And please… no one download any keygens or code generators…. Anything you can find through google or a major search engine will just install a trojan and give you a major headache in the longrun (and no free points)

This thread blew up today over at CAG...
http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php...
I saw the Slick Deals posting as well as numerous tweets from pretty respectable people [I know Ant from Gamertag Radio tweet the website]
your360connection.com was the site and it's down now because it got slammed.

Yeah, most generators advertised from Youtube have backdoors and key loggers.
I think the GUI should give it away though. They all look like crap.

I just want to applaud bill on being for active and concerned with this. Looking at that thread at CAG, CheapyD just kind of approved the guy selling with any questioning. Thanks bill for looking out for everyone here
