Based on a children's book I vaguely remember being read to me when I was like 5. 
Describe something happening. One sentence per post. Keep the story going by using the opposite fortune.
For example:
1. Fortunately, you won a free cruise.
2. Unfortunately, the cruise line went out of business before you could redeem it.
3. Fortunately, you're offered an alternative prize of fifty grand.
4. Unfortunately, it's actually half of a 100 Grand candy bar.
5. Fortunately, it still tastes good.
6. Unfortunately, you get food poisoning.
...and so on and so forth.
Let's begin.
Unfortunately, you get hit by a car.
