I've been hitting the older titles lately. Not sure why...
Need for Speed: Most Wanted - After giving up on this a few months ago because it got too hard (with about 5 blacklist memebers to go) I have picked it up again and only have 2 members left now. I dunno why I'm suddenly able to continue with this but the difficulty seems more about not making mistakes. If you crash hard in one of the longer races you will prob never get back to 1st place so it's better to just restart. So it takes a great run to win but I've been making great progress and have really enjoyed this game.
Also playing Prey which is good but I'm not sure I'm going to stick with it. I'm not too far into the game but am already kinda tired of the gooey walls.
What are you guys currently playing on the 360? |

i'm not a big fan of lost planet. rented it and it was awesome until the mech fights started dominating the game play and then it got lame.

I didn't care for Lost Planet. It just didn't appeal to me....probably because your dude moves so slow. |

I though Lost Planet was great. The best mech is the one you get when fighting the greeneye. I would ditch whatever mech I had for that sucker.

Eh I didn't wanna make a whole new topic to ask this so I'll do it here:
Right now I'm playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 on the Xbox360 and it won't let me use a custom soundtrack (even though the game supports it on the old Xbox). Is there an option I have to look for in the dashboard or can you just not use custom soundtracks when playing old Xbox games? If it's the latter, that is pretty f'n lame.  |

If you set it up in the Dashboard and then load the Xbox game it should work.

Playing Call of Duty 3. I don't understand all the hate it gets. It's a great game. It's not as fresh as 2 to me, but that's because I just played through it. I'm hoping to finish before next week. I don't know why though....

I didn't hate it, just from the bit that I played it wasn't as great as two.
I'm going to get it sometime in the future so that I can play all the way through it, but I'm waiting for the price to go down a bit. It just went platinum hits, so I can probably get it for around $20 pretty soon. |

I liked CoD3. I haven't played the Xbox360 version though, I've only played it on the Wii. |

cod3's single player i liked more than 2's..but online goes to 2 without question.

Ok, I'm about to go insane. Every stinkin' time I quit after a checkpoint in CoD3, I have to watch the entire cutscene at the beginning of the level whenever I continue. Unskippable cutscenes are the bane of my existance.

Try playing Black...those lengthy unskippable cinemas are ridiculous. And boring. And really long. They actually make me not want to continue my game. |

Yeah, I played through Black in two sittings. Don't remember any really long, unskippable cutscenes.
edit: Oh yeah, I do. The live action ones. I remember they were really cool, but yeah, really long. Good thing I didn't restart a lot.

Playing through Prey right now. Good game, and the graphics are good except when you get close to objects they kinda look like blurry N64 textures sometimes.

Call of Duty 4, rented from Gamefly. Almost at the end on Hardened difficulty, after I play through on vet it goes back and I'm either gonna get Assassin's Creed or the new Smackdown vs Raw next. |

It sucks.... I'm totally backlogged right now on new good great games...
For the past 3 days I've been going back and forth between Scene It? LCA & Rock Band playing both multi-player with my wife...
For short sessions I've been playing Puzzle Quest on XBLA & I'm half-way through The Darkness, but that's on hold with the above 2 titles
and games that I've recently bought (within the past month) but haven't played yet... (I'd love to just do nothing but play games for weeks and beat all of these...)

Sucks... When I was young (1986-1990) our family didn't have that much money and I'd play the same game over, and over, and over... I must of beat Duck Tales and all the original NES mario bros games 100X at least... find every secret, explore every crevice... Until I was sick of it.... and then I had nothing to play... Too much time... not enough games.... Now its the other way around.... My kids will never have the complaint of not having something to play on their systems  Because I'll be right there with them.

I finished Prey on Thanksgiving night and have been playing SmackDown since. Haven't played Halo 3 in at least 2 weeks now, but I'm gonna get back into it soon. I miss getting 0wned on Xbox Live. |

Mine looked awful when I got it in. I did some research and from what I could tell EB was pointing their finger at Bioware and Bioware in turn is pointing their finger at Microsoft... Microsoft is saying that they are more than happy to replace it.... BUT you have to send them the entire set (discs and case) They will not just send out a new metal tin (This was quoted by someone on another board last thursday).. M$ Doesn't care if its open... So I was able to "fix" mine from the inside except for a small dent on the bottom edge, I'm just going to keep mine as is... Unless someone starts sending out just the metal tin as a replacement, THEN I will get it fixed of course

It's a short game with crap graphics but it's highly addictive and has a lot of replay value.

Where are you looking Adam? I put in my zip (75428) and of course nothing as i expected (closest EG Games/Gamestop is 39mi away for me ) I upped the perimeter to 100mi to cover all of Dallas (EB is based out of Dallas) and there are only 3 stores showing any stock, and no stores have replenishment coming... I can't even find the page for it anymore at EB games... Just wondering if certain geographical areas may of received more stock than others as this was "supposed" to be an online only item....
Thank you for that link though!!! is there a easy way to find the sku numbers?

I'm currently playing Call Of Duty 4 on my 360. I'm working my way through Veteran as well as playing a whole lot of multiplayer. I just hit 39 last night. Not great, but hey I'm getting there :) |
