I've been hitting the older titles lately. Not sure why...
Need for Speed: Most Wanted - After giving up on this a few months ago because it got too hard (with about 5 blacklist memebers to go) I have picked it up again and only have 2 members left now. I dunno why I'm suddenly able to continue with this but the difficulty seems more about not making mistakes. If you crash hard in one of the longer races you will prob never get back to 1st place so it's better to just restart. So it takes a great run to win but I've been making great progress and have really enjoyed this game.
Also playing Prey which is good but I'm not sure I'm going to stick with it. I'm not too far into the game but am already kinda tired of the gooey walls.
I usually play every night, I just keep strange hours. Since your east coast I guess I'm usually playing between 3-6 am your time, haha. I might be on a lot earlier tonight though since my classes are cancelled and I'm not working tonight.
I never played through CoD4 single player, but the online is loads of. My only gripe is that there are so few levels online that the game gets boring ridiculously quick.
Its not bad at all. Its quite literally one of the best games that came out for the 360. It deserves every amount of praise its been given from everyone. Brenner is just being an asshat.
I loved Call of Duty 2 and 3's single player. I'm contemplating getting rid of Call of Duty 4, as I don't feel like playing the single player, and online is getting kind of boring, but I'll admit it's a pretty good game. However, I liked Call of Duty 2 better,

I think that COD 4 is a better game design wise, but I'll always love COD 2, which I just fired up last night
I just finished Assassin's Creed a few days ago. I've been playing CoD4 online alot lately. I also just started The Darkness a day or two ago and I'm diggin it so far. I also need to start Mass Effect soon, I've had it for a few weeks, but have been trying to play the other games I've started.

I’m currently playing Lost Planet and Mass Effect. I’m really liking Lost Planet. I wish Wayne was quicker and a bit more agile, but it is refreshing to play as someone with more realistic physical limits.
I think I’m going to give up on Mass Effect; I’ve never been a huge fan of Bioware rpgs, but I usually give them a try anyway. I generally find them boring and Mass Effect hasn’t really been an exception. It’s a shame, too because I tend to hear nothing but good things about Bioware rpgs.

It definitely isn't the greatest FPS, but I keep making myself play through it. I must give it credit for being one of the very few games that has actually scared me a couple times.
Hardly ever play Halo 3 anymore. Just finished Assassin's Creed last night. Really liked it, although it tended to get repetitive in between assassinations.
Now it's just me and Rock Band for the next few months.
The cover system seems really half assed, and the enemies are dumb as dirt, they just rush you. They don't use cover and try to flank you and stuff like the ones in Gears.
I also don't like how all the guns are just different colored versions of the same model.
I wish it was turned based, then again I've only played maybe the first hour. I love the game so far, but the skill based shooting is kinda a pain in the ass.

Plus, the controls are pretty floaty compared to Gears (which feels really solid). It took me a while to get used to them, because there's a slight lag in everything you do in combat.

I think the shakiness of the sniper is just what its accuracy rating corresponds to. You can still hit with every shot, but it just takes a bit more patience. When I finished the game I had a tight sniper rifle and it essentially didn't shake at all.
although when you can get that sniper you can also get the Spectre Elite assault rifle, and there's really no reason to ever use any other gun after that unless you want achievements. it's just an insane killing machine
I've been playing Guitar Hero III. For all the hype it got, it's deserving because it's really a lot of fun. Also just started a quick 30 game season of MLB 2k7 in anticipation of the upcoming baseball year. And of course Call of Duty 4.
