I've been hitting the older titles lately. Not sure why...
Need for Speed: Most Wanted - After giving up on this a few months ago because it got too hard (with about 5 blacklist memebers to go) I have picked it up again and only have 2 members left now. I dunno why I'm suddenly able to continue with this but the difficulty seems more about not making mistakes. If you crash hard in one of the longer races you will prob never get back to 1st place so it's better to just restart. So it takes a great run to win but I've been making great progress and have really enjoyed this game.
Also playing Prey which is good but I'm not sure I'm going to stick with it. I'm not too far into the game but am already kinda tired of the gooey walls.
What are you guys currently playing on the 360? |

I played CoD4 with a fella affecting a fake British accent a coupla weeks ago. A very BAD accent, and he talked incessantly. I had never been so happy to have such a new and simple "Mute" function...

Alpha and I ran into a drunken Englishman with the worst voice in history one night on CoD4. Hilarity ensued.
On topic - playing Lego Star Wars 2 and CoD4

Regardless, I still plan on playing through it. I got the guide and everything. I'll also be starting GH2, GH3, and Rock Band when they come in.
I'm still loving Forza 2. I also started Lego Star Wars. It's okay IMO. Doesn't really live up to the hype. (still a good co-op game for younger player's)

The gf loves Lego Star Wars, its one of the few games we can play co-op on since she isn't nearly 1337 enough to play Halo and the likes.
I get annoyed though because I'm always trying to be a completionist and get achievements and stuff and shes just running around shooting stuff. |

My wife is the same way. Lego Star Wars and Burnout Paradise are the only 360 games she'll play - otherwise she's glued to the Wii playing Mario games and Elebits. Or using the PS2 for Final Fantasy.

This seems to happen to me on a constant basis, except it seems like all English people are one of two things, a 14 year old that keeps screaming "you wanker!!!" or a 35-40 year old that has a generic voice that keeps screaming "you wanker!!!".
Are you talking about the guy that made Mexicans sound fluent in English? The one that for no reason kept saying crap about GTZ and that's the only part we understood?

Yeah, I think that's the guy. I just remember you yelling "I can't fudging understand you!" repeatedly at him.

Currently playing The Bigs, MLB 2K8 and Bully.
Online I'm still playing Rock Band and CoD4. Hardly ever play those single player though.

Yeah, the full game. It's a lot of fun. Very different from 2K7 though, and a lot of the stuff takes some getting used to. The Bigs is fun too (although it's last years line ups i.e. the Braves don't even have Texiera even after the downloaded rosters online).
I recommend the game though. Especially if you enjoyed the demo.

Tim Wakefield's knuckleball (the best in baseball right now) is the exact same motion as Johan Santana's change-up.

The worst part is is that I wasn't even trying to be a dick, I genuinely couldn't understand the guy...I'd like to think he ultimately left out of embarrassment from me.

I played a game of Halo online the other day for the first time in a while, probably 3 weeks. I went 1-9 and I couldn't kill anyone the only kill was a lucky grenade. In the lobby, I just heard some giggles and then some GIRL said wow...get raped. I laughed at myself and then turned the game off. I'm out of touch with that game. I'm gonna try to finish up the single-player this weekend. |

I finally played Gears of War and it was great. Beat it on co-op mode with my nephew. It sucks though that to do split-screen co-op the second player is required to create their own profile.

And Seasian... are you serious? You're saying the General has one of the best English voices in any RPG to date? Incorrect, sir, incorrect! He is the embodiment of overacting and excessive cheesiness that plagues most JRPG's brought over to the US. Kaim and Jansen are much better acted.
