Won't wear off any faster than decapitating your enemies, I loved Ninja Gaiden 2 at first but that crap got boring fast. I really think this game will keep my attention for a couple play-throughs because of the multiple endings.

I dunno. Seems to be a pretty decent level up system for some of the powers. Maybe you can learn new ones too. * smile * The demo was kinda easy on the medium difficulty. We'll see.

I'll most likely rent this, as I agree with Guru... the game will probably be stupid short.

But at any rate, I WILL play it.

I don't know how anyone finds the Tales games enjoyable. It seems like Force Unleashed is 10x more fun than Too Human and Tales of Vesperia COMBINED (going by the demos for all three games).

If Force Unleashed is short and I dont wanna play it again, I'll just sell it off to some four-eyed star wars nerd with excessive acne. * smile *

The Tales games are great action-RPGs. Some of the fights in Tales of Symphonia got nuts.

I got Symphonia based on hype and put it down within two hours. I don't know. The battles are almost too automatic most of the time... however, I guess I could say they're fun - BUT the graphics, characters, and voice acting/character interaction are awful... that's why I can't stand them.

You can change the game where you have complete control over lloyd and customize your ally AI to be what you want. 2 Hours doesn't seem like enough time.

Graphics - Bleh. Got the job done.

Characters - Not super great, but entertaining enough.

Voice Acting/Character interaction - Decent.

Battle system - CRAZY.

I did like 5-6 playthroughs for somewhere close to 200 hours off and on over the 3 years I was playing it. I loved how you could start the game with upped stats depending on how well you did during the battles the previous time through. im also a collection whore in rpgs so I liked that it gave you a percentage of what you've collected, then once you got 100% you could get a new class. im just waaaaaay back logged with games right now, so much so that I turned down buying Flatout for $10 today at blockbuster.

I had about 100 or so hours after 3 playthroughs. It's a goodie.

I have bad memories of the sword dancer and that whole sidequest though. * frown *

Well, maybe it wasn't two hours exactly. I remember getting through the first dungeon or temple or whatever. I did a few things after that, finally decided for good that I was bored, and quit.

Ok, played it for myself, so I feel I can have a more solid opinion of it.

My opinion is.... THE SAME.

Its a definite rental, and will be a good game, no doubt. But absolutely nothing amazing about it. Its a weak demo though, that level is mad boring. The little video that plays afterward shows a lot of environments that look like they would be a lot more fun.

Still, all the Force stuff is fun, but its mostly just random crap throughout the level that you can mess with, and then the one really badass thing that happens, when you cut the AT-ST in half, is just a QTE.

I'm sure the final game will be much more impressive, but its not getting my $60 right off the bat.

Yeah, TFU is badass and the apprentice is as badass as it gets, but it still is not a buy for me. Will I be playing this in a reasonable amount of time? Yes. Will I love every minute of it? Probably. There is just something not there that pushes me to buy it.

Even if, it'll be a sick game to have so i may trade for it.

even sword dancer ver.3 was a bit of puss. I hated that Abissyon (sp) guy, he had more hp and attack then sword dancer and was much more of a pain in the ass to access. after beating him though you got those cursed weapons that got +1 attack added to them every time you killed an enemy and since you could combine your playthroughts using the "Keep Battle Record" option before starting a new game, I ended up being able to do 3000-5000 damage with Lloyd per hit, making it so I could beat even the final Colosseum team in just a few seconds.

You forgot to mention EA's baseball game is better too. And judging by that crappy Don King Prizefighter game 2k made, EA kicks their ass in boxing games as well. * raspberry *

Oh I'm agreeing with you. I just though it was funny to describe the old style controls as caveman ones. I agree though it's outdated and using the stick to control... well your stick is... well smart. * smile *

I liked the Force Unleashed demo but I don't know, I guess I was expecting more. Although it is just a demo. Seems like it's gonna be a button masher, that's pretty much all I was doing and I passed the demo. And since people have said it's gonna be kind of short, I will probably just rent it. It looks great though, graphics and the physics are killer.

No Mercs 2 demo (at least not yet). I've only played the PS2 version and it is crap. The PS2 version was handled by a different development team though, and the 360/PS3 versions have been getting good reviews.

ATV racing game. Published by Disney but isn't dumbed-down and geared towards kids. The graphics are amazing. I think the development team are the guys that did the Splashdown games on PS2.
