I don't (well, rarely) beg. I'm just very persistant.

All the demos have been one of my favorite aspects of getting the 360. Nintendo doesn't give out anything for free for the Wii; not that XBox Live is free, but it's not much. The only thing I saw was a trailer for Metroid 3, that's about it! And the demos for the 360 have been suprisingly long. I played Medal of Honor Airbourne at least 1/2 hour before dying and having to start the level over. I guess the only bad thing (for Microsoft at least), is that some of the demos have made me not want to get the game (such as Forza 2, which just reminded me of Gran Turismo)
Question: Do most of the demos come out before the game, or after?
Just got COD4 and Halo 3 in the mail today! Hopefully I'll give COD4 a try tonight. I've had Halo 3 for the past week on a rental and have enjoyed it very much, although getting my butt kicked online, even on Basic Training. Somehow I don't think a lot of them are true newbies. Then, I tried giving Team Slayer and Slayer a shot, and that was a joke. I died like a dozen times and maybe killed 1 or 2. I guess it takes time, although I played Medal of Honor 2 on the Wii for a couple months, and still the best I could do was about 1 kill to 2 deaths
Any games you can't get rid of?
Try Goozex...you'll get 2 free trades and a free game for signing up.

Demos usually come out before, but it just depends.
Get Forza 2. Now. It's the best racing game of all time.
Edit: BTW, if you're up for some Halo 3 and see me online, shoot me an invite. I'm usually down for it. I'll pick up your slack for you.

Take that back. The trailer was awesome.

Nah. Just another crappy movie about a good comic. Just like Spiderman, The Hulk, etc. The only one I liked was the Fantastic Four. They just need to stop making games and comics into movies.

You are so messed up. Spider-Man (1) is in my top 5 movies of all time list.
Fantastic Four was decent, but the first was way rushed. Hulk was pretty bad. (I mean, it was decent, nothing to stick in time... the second one actually is ignoring the fact that there was a first one, and it looks like it could be a lot better) For the most part though, all the recent super-hero/comic book movies have been really good movies; not neccesarilly (sp?) up to the comics, but still really good movies.

Spider-Man 3 wasn't that bad. It just wasn't as good as either of the first 2. (in fact, it was nearly a top notch movie except for Emo-Man.)

I still say that if Spidey 3 was actually Spidey 1,and the other two hadn't been made yet - aside from X-Men 1 & 2 - people would still consider it among the best Marvel movies made if not one of the best superhero movies made. It only got trashed (and we're all guilty of this too) because of the ridiculous amount of hype it had.

I agree. Like I said, it was a good movie minus emo-parker.

Have you seen the trailer? Sure, the comic's not the best, but now Stark is like an evil dictator who I think will end up bein president.

Yeah, I've seen the trailer. The majority of video games made after these kind of movies blow (see Transformers on 360).
The Transformers movie blew too though, so its no surprised the game sucked.
(yes, I'm well aware that 99% of all people think that Transformers was awesome, but they can all s my d. As far as I'm concerned the only Transformers movie that exists was made in '86 and is animated)
Being a comic book fan when I was younger, I have to say that almost all of the comic to movie translations have been terrible. I was disappointed in the first X-Men movie, but thought they got better as they went on to 2 and 3. Same with Spiderman. I actually really enjoyed Spiderman 3 and thought it was actually a LOL movie
when the venom started kicking in, in Peter Parker
Fantastic Four was terrible, didn't see Silver Surfer one. 1st Hulk was terrible, second one coming out this summer with Ed Norton as David Banner (preview available on IGN.com).
Can't say I'm looking forward to Iron Man, I'll wait for DVD.
Speaking of DVD, do stores still carry HD-DVDs, and if so, are they really cheap now? I was thinking of getting the HD-DVD player for my 360, but only if the movies were really cheap.
I still say FF was good. Maybe it's just because Jessica Alba was in it though. I didn't like the Hulk at all, but with Ed Norton (who I love and people constantly say I look like) in it, I'll def. check that out (probably DVD though). X-Men was meh. The 1st Spiderman movie was cool because it was the first one to come out besides Batman or Superman. I think that's partially why people love it so much. The first one was good, but I def. feel like they got progessively worse.
As for the HD-DVD's, I haven't seen any in stores around here, but I haven't really been looking. I know you can still get them here for cheap, as well as other places online. A lot of people are unloading them. The actual HD-DVD players are obviously getting really cheap.
They haven't dropped the retail price on HD-DVDs in stores yet. I keep waiting for Best Buy or Circuit City to just have some kind of huge $5 blowout or something, I'd love that. Amazon has decent prices on HD-DVDs, usually around the $15 range.
Batman Begins is sweet, but it doesn't have crap on Batman and Batman Returns.

Only possibly the best movie of all time.

I found the Iron Man demo hard to get used to. Once I did though, I found it enjoyable. Not enough to get the game for quite a while though.
