Hey is anyone else picking this up... im a big mtg fan and if u want to play u can hit me up... also if anyone gets it and is not interested in the promo card that comes with it i would love to get my hands on some cause its one of my favorite cards to play! I haven't even downloaded the demo yet. Ever since the update last week I've had a hard time just staying connected to Live.

Finally downloaded the demo and decided to buy it. Fun. Still wish it had custom decks but for someone that doesn't play too often, it levels the playing field some. Plus I still got the free card.

After you unlock the full version it takes you to a screen with a code. Then you go online to the game's website and enter the code, hoping not all the cards are gone yet.
edit: Then they mail it to you.

Update
Just got my card in the mail today. I really wish I had a deck to put this in but mine is all fire. Its available. Also, it came with a flyer that if you go to a participating Wizards Play Network by the end of the year with the flyer, you get two free sample decks.

Got the decks, picked Black and Red. There's nothing of value in them but again they're starter decks so I didn't expect much.

I finally went and go my free decks today. Only 1 place in town, next closest was 25 miles away and that was it for the state. Got a white and black deck though. I may actually go back to that shop and start playing this again.

Yeah I was tempted to start playing again too when I stopped by the store I got my decks at (a comic book store). I just don't have the time.

playing FNM is a great way to get back into the game... its casual, there are usually a good deal of players (around 30 at my store) and at the store here its 5 bucks to play, u get a pack, they give out the random foils and top foils and they give out prizes too... |
