This is going down in 2 months and may be the greatest day of some of our lives. Let us discuss.

Sure beats putting 47 clips into a guy, 3 nades, 2 claymores explosions, and a flashbang just to see him run away because he has juggernaut on.

While there's obviously pussified campers out there, most of HTDM is stick and move. I can't speak for all, but the correct way to play the game in my estimation is to do little bits of camping here and there - maybe for 10-15 seconds at a clip. Unless you have Godlike reflexes and/or are mentally retarded, you can't just run around everywhere. Keep in mind also that most of the campers are only there because there are 14 year old U.K. kids running around like mad. Hell, I don't blame them, I'd set up some claymores and do the same if I saw all they were doing was rushing.
I remember playing a match with a guy a few months back that had a similar mentality as you. He kept doging at everyone to "be a warrior". Needless to say, he went negative and we lost by a significant amount thanks to him and his buddy being "warriors".

You've never seen that score. I've played 15 total days, 90% of which are on hardcore and have never seen anything even close to that - even on Creek.

Did you just complain about campers and then say you've 'picked up sniping recently'? I know the two aren't identical, but damn if they don't simply use different methods to sit and wait for people...

AlphakirA, though note I only play hardcore. I can't get into the "anti-strategic" reg. TDM or people that dog when you don't wait til the other team plants in S&D.

I get what you are getting at, bullet damage seems a bit inconsistent at times on TDM.

I wouldnt mind that kind of game play. Hiding behind objects and ducking and shooting is acceptable. I just dont like corner campers.

It was not on creek, the map was ambush. And I wasnt playing, nephew was.

There is a different between moving from spot to spot... killing at a distance, and sometimes waiting for people to pass your field of vision before you snipe them... as opposed to equiping a silenced assault rifle or submachine gun... using uav jammer, keeping your back to a dark corner and just waiting for people to pass you so you can shoot them in the back the whole match. |

Rob, if you're worried about campers in HC, but do seem to enjoy it, try out HC Search and Destroy. Sure, there are campers in it, but when they are on offense camping may get them kills but if you stay where you are supposed to be (defending bomb A and B instead of rushing their spawn) you will get the win. Let those people get their cheap kills, but they will still lose if they don't move |

When I say unrealistic I mean the perks and the general quickness of the game, nothing strategy wise. I dunno, maybe I'm just more used to Bad Company (which has its cons) and the way all the motions just feel more real. I'm still most likely gonna play it at some point. |

Did anyone figure out if Call of duty classic is going to have MP?
no biggie if it isn't, I'll just be happy to play through SP because I never got the chance back in the day

I was all set and ready to get the hardened just to have the original CoD, thinking it was like an XBL Arcade game. Then when I found out it was for PC I said no wayyyy |

I've heard from a few people it's for PC...
Edit- I know it doesn't seem logical to buy a game for 360 and get a bonus game for the PC, but I heard it from numerous people that didn't have anything to do with each other.
Looking at the Gamestop Bonus items list it says Arcade about the original, so I guess I'm glad I was wrong  |

yes it has been confirmed CoD is a xbox live arcade title. I think I will be getting a hardened for my pops and a regular edition for me now because I am thinking of getting a new 360. |

I usually only delete people because either I have no idea who they are or because they haven't logged in in months. That and because Kess and I were seeing who could have less friends - I simply deleted a ton of people. Feel free to send me another request if you ever want to play some CoD or something, I promise I won't delete you
