Guidelines:
-Games will be put up for Votes and will be purchased upon getting 3/5 Votes.
-DLC on games Purchased by This group will also be put of the the Vote and Purchased upon getting 3/5 Votes.
-Voting tallies as follows. yes = +1, maybe = +.5, no = 0, have/has = 0
-If one person has a game and the others in the group wish to purchase said game the person (or persons) that have the game will be omitted from the split of the charges.
-Prices of games will be added when passed into the "Games Selected to get" section or if pre release time when released.
-There will be NO DLC disc based games as it would be easier to start another group for such things.
-If you join and wish to leave 1 weeks notice is required. (a refund of what you had paid will be issued upon confirmation of concole deactivation and a 5th member taking you vacant spot)

We probably won't be getting many puzzle games in this group will we? Since 3 of the members are also in a puzzle group. A game would have to get voted out in the puzzle group and 1 or 2 of you guys from the puzzle group would have to want the game and combine your votes with dvd and me. The puzzle group came first so would it get to vote first?
yea pretty much. but considering what constitues a puzzle game to the PSN store is like trying to figure out what going to happen in the next election. it's anybodies guess

I don't know, PopCap priced Bejeweled 2 at $9.99 when it's free to play online (sort of), it has trophies and remote-play support but still seems too high...
EDIT: I shouldn't complain though, at least they aren't releasing it retail and charging $60.
yea you're right it will probably be a 10 buck game. they are so random on how they price the games. really makes me wonder what they are on at the sony store.
I'm in a crapty position right now because i just want mvc2, can i just get the other games at another time? mvc2 will be 3$ a piece, but i'm not ready to pay 30$ for games i don't have room for.

people already payed for this round so i dont think thats gonna be an option.
If anyone does need a hard drive I have a 40 gig in my PS3 now thats coming out soon when I upgrade to my 250 gig. Id let it go cheap or trade for a cheaper game.

You could keep the 40 GB in case your PS3 starts acting weird. Sometimes it's the hard drive that has the problem and not the PS3, so you'll be able to switch back to your old 40 GB to see if the problem is in the hard drive. Plus, I think you have to send your hard drive along with the PS3 to Sony if it has to be repaired. So if you don't want to send your 250 GB to Sony and have them format it, you could send them the 40 GB instead.
I could be wrong about this stuff though.
EDIT: Oh and I thought you guys might be interested in reading this article. It says:
There was a rumor some time ago that suggested that Sony would be releasing a new PSN service, one that would have you pay a one flat rate for access to unlimited downloads. It would still have online play, and the other features for free though. Think of it as Xbox Live, but with the perk of gaining access all content on the network. Whether this plan is still in play though has yet to be determined.
If true, instead of paying for each game, we would be paying Omega for the monthly subscription or however it is and be able to download whatever we want and not have to vote on games. Some people said that the games we download could be unplayable after your subscription runs out, so we would have to make sure we have a constant subscription.

actually just finished off this round of buys. not counting MVC2 wait for release.
you know you don't have to download everything, just what you want to play till you upgrade your hard drive. from here on out the buys should be pretty small per person espically since there are usually only 3/4 games a week at best.

Yeah, I definitely don't want to pay for DLC for a game I'm sure I'll never buy (Call of Juarez).
Hey, guys! I am thinking of buying Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 from Gamestop because I want the extras that it will come with. It will come with a PSN code to download the game instead of a disc. OmegaX01, could I do this and refund me via Paypal or hold it until the future rounds?
I'm going to be checking into this as I've heard about 3 diffrent stories on this one. one says it's just going to be a card. one says it's going to be a dvd case with a 8page mini art book/manual. one says it's going to be a blu-ray case with a disk with special wallpapers and themes for your ps3 and a 8 page manual/art book and some other things. however when i called a friend of mine that works at game stop he said that they have almost no info on this and it's probably just going to be a card. if you don't mind waiting till friday morning (when they are suposed to be getting the stuff in) i'll go and check it out as i get out of work at 7am and don't have to be back till 11pm
There was some news about this yesterday, it's just going to be a download code, a tiny art book, and some promo stuff to use at Marvel.com or some trial membership they offer.
Originally it was going to include a media cd as well and be $20. They've dropped the cd and it'll be $15 now. Unless something changes again.

I haven't been on the computer much today, had to clean out a building for a yard sale.
I don't have my PS3 back yet, I don't get much time on it right now because they play it often. Plus, it looks like they are going to be playing it for even longer than I thought. They were talking today about playing through the game in Challenge Mode and going back to all of the planets to collect everything...

it's all good no worries, just need the fedd zeppelin and glatous maximus trophies and i'll be done with that and can mess around and just have fun on the online mulitplayer.
Oh and i'm going to offically kill the DLC for disk based games since it's just to messy to deal with.
