There's been a little talk of a need for this item, so I thought I would pass one around. If you need it, just post here and I'll put you on the list.
We'll be using the offer system to keep track of who has the adapter and where it's going next. Please post here when you receive and send the item so that everyone has a better idea of when they will receive it.
Originally, I stated that whoever is to receive the adapter was to pay for shipping. But, I think it makes more sense for the shipper to pay for shipping - because it's going to be passed around, whoever receives the adapter is going to end up paying for it to be shipped at one point or another. It seems to make more sense just to have him or her pay to ship it (one simple transaction), rather than waiting for someone to send a paypal or MO for $3 and then shipping (2 transactions). If people disagree, that's fine.
Also, Pyramid_party has one available and said he would be happy to lend one out. You'll have to talk to him about shipping and what not.
So, here's what we have so far:
jaric -> xena -> sixteenvolt -> rayzor6 -> electromax -> DarkLord-> SadClown -> slyfishbone -> MolestoTheClown -> Admiral -> goldbera -> tonymack21->sp1cychick3n->KissMyAsthma
sp1chchick3n has received
Shipping info, thanks to slyfishbone:
adapter by itself = 1.7 oz.
adapter in a 8 1/2 x 11 bubble mailer = 2.3 oz.
adapter in a 4 x 7 bubble mailer = 1.9 oz.
I didn't have a dvd sized bubble mailer but going by the other two it should fall in the middle at 2.1 oz.
adapter in a 8 1/2 x 5 ready post cushion mailer = 3.2 oz.
all these are with out labels or any tape or anything so I'd round up to the next whole ounce to be safe.

is it just me, or does Clown's real name look as though it says "A Sad Ramen"? (no offence)

Hehe, when I was in Elementary School, the kids used to call me Ramen noodles. It's foreign, so I guess it's hard to pronounce for some people. And none taken. |

Thanks for making sure I put a memo to never trade with you. I have never seen anyone act like an impatient little brat over something that wasn't even theirs.

Dude, I was just kidding about that post. Chill man. If you don't want to trade with me that's ok. Though I admit I am a little impatient to get it, I wanna finish my PS2 game! :D |

Oh my god. I just figured out how to make my PS2 and PS1 games full screen instead of having those black lines on the side. I don't have to buy another PS2 anymore (I really hate those lines)! So I'm back on the list, I guess. After Ross gets it, I'd like to get it next. |

My brother also has a PS3, so I'm going to let him use it when I get it too. It should only add an extra day or two to the time I have it. Just wanted to let ya know.

As I said, I'll keep this updated. When someone sends and receives, I'll note it in the first post, so you can check there to see where it is.
Usually, it takes about a week or so for a person to receive, use, and ship the adapter: 2-3 days shipping/waiting to receive, 1-2 days to use (they might not use it right away), 1 day to send, and then 2-3 days to ship to the next person. |

| | #61 posted July 21, 2008 at 10:11pm (EST) |
Thanks for the birthday wishes
And, I'm glad the adapter is getting used - it's a waste of $15 to just use once. |

Just as an update, Electro told me that he's already shipped, so I should be getting it very soon. Also, my brother has a PS3, so I'm going to let him use it while I have it. I shouldn't have it for more than a couple days (hopefully).

How much does the Adapter weigh? I was thinking of shipping using Paypal shipping, and I need the weight of the Adapter in order to do that. Does anyone on here know? |
OuTrAgE
| | #77 posted August 10, 2008 at 12:15am (EST) |
2 oz for the adapter. Add another 2 oz if you're including a usb cable. Then about 1 oz for the bubble mailer.

jaric

| | #80 posted August 15, 2008 at 6:37pm (EST) |
I think it's between you and sly.
Although, I would suggest putting 5 oz. Or, at least, making sure that your postage is the same as the postage on the package that was shipped to you (if it's visible).
