Hmm .. how does the server setup work for WoW? Is there a few servers and you pick one and are always on that one with your character? Or do you get to move around? Maybe I'll pick it up when I get my computer on Thursday and if there's a specific server where all of the GTZ'ers hang out then I'd have to be sure to be on that one.

There are a ton of servers. Quite a few of us play on Zul'jin, Horde side. You can't yet move from server to server. Look up an "Angerfang" member and get an invite if you do pick it up .

There's a very good chance I'll pick it up, the only thing I'm not sure about is when. My current mmorpg is beginning to get rather boring and tedious, so I'm going to need something new soon and nothing looks to be as good of a choice as WoW would be.

Well I went ahead and bought WoW. LOVE it so far, I just don't like how you can hold so few items. Having to trek back to sell stuff every 5-10 minutes kinda sucks.
Already made four characters, mostly to hold names, but I may try out a few classes to see what I like. So far though I've mainly been playing a Night Elf Druid named Meythia on Zul'Jin.

Sorry, I can't help but think that Sony's plan to "be cool again" starts off by making a fat white guy the head of the entire Japanese company is a tad hilarious.

I did make two Horde characters, however I like the designs of the Alliance characters a bit more. Though maybe I could give one of them a shot.

I guess it could be useful as a portable movie player (for on a plane, a car trip, etc.) as long as the battery lasted long enough.

I got my PSP yesterday 03/22/2005, two days before the street date. Yesterday, I called the store I pre-ordered it from just to find out when (03/24 or 03/25) can I pick it up. The manager said that they got the shipment on monday and I can pick it up anytime. So after work, I drove to the store and the store clerk told to me that the manager made a mistake. However, they gave it to me and told me not to tell anybody because they can't sell it before the street date. The sad part is that the PSP games I pre-ordered didn't came in yet and had to go back on tomorrow to get those . The good thing is that I already charged tha unit and make it ready for tomorrow.
The LCD is very bright and very very nice to look at (like my Sony Vaio laptop's screen). My wife was so impressed that she want one especially when she found out that I can play movies and mp3 with this thing. My wife really like the Gameboy systems because she love to play those Mario game. When she told me that she is very impressed with the PSP, I think I better get her one, too. The Spider-man 2 movie showcases this awesome LCD screen.
I am kinda disappointed with the sampler disc it came with. You can't play the demo games! The movie previews, as well as the music samples (with video), are an okay additions. But i would have preferred to be able to play demo of the games instead even if just for a few of them.
The soft case is okay but I will definitely buy a better carrying case for this toy. It also came with a soft cloth to clean the screen and the unit. I would have like it more if it came with at least one screen protector.
Great to have the hand strap. I wish my other portable gaming devices (Gameboys) have that, too.
The battery came with some charge. The manual said that it will take 2 hours 30 minutes to fully charge it from empty charge. I checked the unit after an hour of charging and it was already fully charged.

I tried to pick my reserve up today and they clerk copped an attitude with me. "God how many people are going to ask me that today, get a clue it's not midnight!" to which I replied "Hey great, I was also wondering if I could shove it up your ass when I come in tonight, would you have to ring me up first or could I just cram it up there when I walk in the door."
I went in back and basically told the manager what happened and that if this guy is going to treat me like a piece of crap I can have my deposit back and walk right over to the Game crazy across the street. I got an apology, my PSP and $10 store credit towards the purchase. I like it, it's fun
