Not really software, but this site talks about an adapter that will let you use non-Duo Memory Sticks with the PSP.

Play Multiplayer Wireless PSP With One Copy Of Game - Guide To Hotswapping
Posted by xenobyte on Tuesday, April 05
This seems like a very useful feature that Sony will no doubt clamp down on. Check it out.
# Place the game into the 1st PSP. Start the game. Start a Multiplayer Ad-Hoc game. (Set the time to unlimited because moving the game between the units takes a while.) Enter the game.
# Once you are in the game, remove the game from the unit. A message will appear asking whether you want to exit the game, say NO! The game should resume.
# Now take the game and place it into the 2nd PSP. Start the game. Now go to Ad-Hoc games and find the server that the other PSP has already started. Enter the game.
# And now you are playing eachother on two PSPs with only one copy of the game. |

Use Your PSP To Save XBOX Games
Well well, we over at CQ, not being content with leaving well enough alone, have figured out a way to use your PSP to carry XBOX game saves. Thats right XBOX. **Keep in mind this will ERASE ALL YOUR PSP SAVES. Back them up first. Here is what you need to do:
1. Get a PSO USB keyboard adapter from XBOX.com. That or any other USB adapter for the XBOX controller.
2. Go to the MS dash Memory section.
3. Plug your PSP USB cable in to the PSO USB adapter. Put your PSP in USB mode. Wait for the XBOX to detect it and pick "ERASE."
4. Copy any saves you like on to your PSP.
5. When you are done reformat your PSP Memory Stick in the PSP System Options and you can use it for PSP again. |
