If you're not a huge Lost fan, the score of this game will go down considerably. The game kinda just throws you in, and if you've never watched the show, you'll have absolutely no idea what is going on. Plus, there's tons of spoilers.
For people that love Lost though, this a fun, albeit short, game (although it's more of just a long playable episode rather than a game). There isn't much action though, it's kinda just you walking around most of the time. There are 2 chase sequences though, and a few times where you actually do have to fire a gun. It comes complete with "Previously on Lost"'s, as well as playable flashbacks. They didn't get many of the actual cast to do the voices, and a couple of the voice-overs are really bad (i.e. Locke), but it really doesn't ruin the game that much.
And if you're an achievement whore, this game is for you.
FEAR: Platinum-9/10- I love the plasticy look of the environments even though they are all in doors. The last time I tried playing this game my PC would barely run it, with my new PC it runs flawlessly. Hopefully the expansion packs will include some outdoor environments. Probably some of the best fire-fights I have ever experienced.
Danke! Brief visit, though. Let's e-jerk each other off as much as possible in the next week. It will be a torrid love affair that will only leave you wondering why I feel I can just come and go as I please, never worrying about your needs or how it makes you feel.
I didn't think I'd like this game but its basically taken the GTA formula and reversed. You are now a gangster instead of a cop and instead of being about the story its now about the gameplay.
Prey - 7.5/10 (first 1/4 to 1/3 of the game)
The demo made me think I couldn't handle playing this but its pretty easy and hasn't given me motion sickness yet It actually play pretty well overall, good game.

No... you're not. You're a super cop in Crackdown, not a gangster.

22 Stars in. 3 new galaxies to explore. One just one more star away.
I love the variety, I love the graphics, I love the feel, I love the music, I love the solid gameplay! This has to be the best platformer ever IMHO. Its just so exciting. Its going to be so hard to going back to playing medicore platformers after this. Ugh. Even good ones.
Only issue is the camera. Thats whats bringing it down. Nintendo should have had an option to, when holding down the camera button, move the camera at free will with the control stick.
Sega Superstars Tennis (360) - 6/10 - Completely rips off Mario Power Tennis from the Gamecube with mostly mediocre characters in bright overly contrasted courts/environments. The A.I. completely skips a beat every so often without any rhyme or reason going from extremely easy with opponents missing every shots to the very next round speeding across the court and hitting impossible shots and right back to easy again. It's fun playing as some of the characters, but aside from 3 or 4, the others are completely useless to most. It lacks the skill and intelligence of Virtua Tennis and isn't nearly as fun as Mario Power Tennis before it. It's fun as a rental but overall this is completely fan service, nothing more, nothing less.
Kaim is reunited with his daughter he thought had died as a child, and then she died. This game is sad as hell.
The segment following that, until you get to save again, took FOREVER.

Great college basketball game, but obviously there's only so much that they can do. The game play is really cool with the new right analog stick shooting (I don't know if it's been like this before, but it's new to me), and the total control defense. The game also has some cool mini-games where you compete in drills versus old college stars, such as Greg Oden, JJ Redick, Mike Conley, etc.
The coolest part about the game is the Career legacy though. You start as a n00b coach and have to coach one of the lower ranked teams in the country (I'm playing with the University of North Florida, for example) and try and get them known nationally. After, you can get a job at one of the bigger time schools. The recruiting system is great. Nothing too complex, but still allows you to try and get some good players for the next season.
I couldn't get past the first level of Halo 2 on Legendary..... that hangar part where there's like 6 elites... I spent the ammo of every gun and still had 4 to kill.
Beat it in one sitting (even after 3 DREs that set me back I don't know how long). Sue me for being SO damn late on this game. Not as good as MGS2 in my opinion, much better than 3 from what I've played (I'm sorry my opinion differs from just about everyones!). I'm tired from staying up all night beating it, I'm going to sleep now.
Psychonauts-10/10- Playing the PC version in 1680x1050 rez, what a fudging beautifully crafted game, everything is perfect. Oh and can finally appreciate its gameplay since syntax sold me his wireless logitech gamepad. I had gotten a few hours into it awhile back, but this game doesnt work too well with mouse/keyboard controls.
No More Heroes (Wii)- It's hard for me to score this game, because I both love it and hate it. The actual ranking fights are awesome, but the free-roaming aspect of an uninspired-looking city on an ugly motorcycle with crapty controls makes this game much worse than it should be. Oh, and the graphics suck. 6.5/10
The lack of the original House of the Dead is disappointing, but it's hard to fault a $30 two-pack for what it doesn't have. Here we have two awesome light gun shooters, with all the modes and stuff intact, and they control great with the Wii remote (you can use the Zapper, but it doesn't make a difference). There aren't really any new extras (beyond what was included in the DC/Xbox ports), but there's plenty of stuff there to hold one's interest. As great as it is, I really wish the original HOTD was on here, especially because the Saturn port kind of sucks. I would've happily paid $50 for a House of the Dead Trilogy.
With this, Ghost Squad, and Umbrella Chronicles, Wii has the light gun thing down really well. I hear they're gonna port over Target: Terror as well. That sounds great. Now gimme Virtua Cop 3. And while I'm making demands, I'd like Silent Scope too.
<benstylus> what crappy game from 15 years ago have you been playing lately?

House of the Dead 2 + 3 Return {Wii} 5/10
HotD 2 is no fun at all anymore. The graphics are horrible now and the voice acting has always sucked ("don't come! don't come!"). Luckily nobody plays a light gun shooter for the story, so you can skip all that crap. HotD 3 is decent and the voice acting is much better than HotD 2's, but each of these could have been released on WiiWare separately. Don't hurt me j_factor.
