in what way?
As someone that hates RPG style games, it feels like Golden Axe with light RPG power up things.
What makes it horrendous gameplay x's 1,000,000?

I think I blamed it mostly on the item menu, its like going 50000 mph and all the sudden stopping. This type of game should have everything on the fly and some of the slowdown in areas are quite bad.

Pretty good so far. I like the shorter missions, good for a portable. Great soundtrack as usual, but not so great graphics.

Pretty good, but not as entertaining as I'd hoped.

Not to mention a LOT of the places are recycled quite a lot... the item management was pretty rough too.
The gameplay just wasn't on par with the story or graphics. I think a turn-based battle system woulda worked better with this game. |

I heard the Wii version of Sega Superstar Tennis is a lil better actually. Its supposed to have good controls, even more responsive than the PS3/360 versions. |

Halo 2 (Xbox) - 8/10 - After finally managing to get into the Halo games, I just finished this game for the first time ever. It was a blast playing through the game as the Master Chief and the Arbiter and I don't really have any complaints about it other than this weird glitch that causes the wrong textures to load, giving the screen a sort of burned-in appearance, which makes it hard for me to see what in the hell is going on unless I save the game and then reload it. I know they fixed it with the Vista port and with Halo 3, but why couldn't they have released an update to fix it with this game?
I've got Halo 3 and I'm ready to dig into it, but I'm gonna move onto something else so I can take a break from the Halo games

Battle Frenzy (sega cd) - 4/10
The only FPS released for Sega CD, and it doesn't use the Sega CD's scaling chip. How utterly pathetic. The reason for that, of course, is that this was originally a cartridge game. I've seen lazy Sega CD ports before, but this is ridiculous. The sole distinction is the redbook audio, and that's not even very good. Plus, even if I were to just pretend I'm playing the cartridge version, it's still not very fun. Zero Tolerance is better, and Zero Tolerance ain't amazing.

If you finish Deus Ex for PS2 you're a hero. It's one of the worst ports I've played in my life, they ruined a damn amazing game. The Invisible War port isn't too bad, I'll actually play that because Invisible War + Vista =
Zelda Majora's Mask - 9.5/10
First time I played through it in nearly 7 years. Shazbot! This game is incredible! I mean I always knew it was incredible but I didn't remember *anything* from all those years ago. The game is practically Psychonauts meets OOT. It's INSANE! I love it Still not better than OOT by any means. It feels less epic in scale and the time mechanic gets annoying at times.

Deus Ex on PS2 was amazing, especially for how many controls had to be mapped to the Dualshock. I finished it 2-3 times and have yet to really "get into it" on the PC.

Well I'm hit and miss as far as scary games go. I don't like floundering around in the dark with demons and such lunging out at me. If I can see what I'm up against, I'm fine. I guess that's why FEAR didn't scare me at all, but DOOM III and games like Condemned and such scare the piss outta me.

Dragon's Lair (NES) - 7.5/10
I wrote a review of this game in my weekly segment on TotalGamerZone.com, and I think this is one of the most terribly underrated games on the NES. Not underplayed like insert-your-favorite-hidden-gem but everyone seems to hate this game and I think it made a great transition from arcade to NES for what it could do.

DOOM 3 was great. I beat that with my nephew in co-op mode a few summers ago over Xbox Live. One of my favorite Xbox games.
I'm with Admiral, I enjoyed Deus Ex on PS2. I also enjoyed the PS2 port of No One Lives Forever, which is supposedly really crappy when compared to the PC version.

Been playing Ocarina of Time: Master Quest for two or three days, now. On the boss of Lord Jabu-Jabu, and it's been great so far. There really isn't that much difference, but the Great Deku Tree and Dodongo's Cavern were harder than the original, but Jabu-Jabu is a lot easier. You get the boomerang extremely early.

Halo 3 - 10/10 - No words can describe just how much fun I'm having with this. I originally was going to take a break from Halo, but I couldn't think of anything better that I wanted to play. The only gripe are the messages Master Chief gets from Cortana.....wtf!?
