Kane & Lynch - 7/10
Good story and mix of stuff to do and places to go, some decent ideas. Downfalls include the occasionally ho-hum hit detection and the fact that they didn't implement their ideas that well. Its still a fun game, I'd recommend playing it.
Jericho - 4/10
I didn't beat this game cause it was so awful I just couldn't take it any more
Turning Point - 6/10
Bad graphics, lots of choppy frame rate issues. I do like the WW II era style, that its realistic action, and the fact that I'm running all over NYC but this game was way rushed.
Guru - I don't really care for the NiGHTS on the Wii. Its just not really that fun..... I didn't play the original though, so maybe thats why I don't dig it much.
I loved NiGHTS Nothing really like it out there, and I dunno, it's so easy to pick up and play and just get C's and D's on every level and have blast flying around, or you can be a crazy perfectionist and spend hours getting As on every course. Meh <stop> before I get on a NiGHTS is teh awesome rant.
Phoenix Wright: Justice for All 8/10- I'm clearly a little behind in the series, but the second installment is pretty decent, though not as good as the first. The cases seem longer and a little more difficult/picky than I remember in the first. I've also noticed several typos already (where instead of were, head instead of heard, etc); it's not a big deal, just a little unprofessional if you ask me.
I guess I should also mention that i've been playing Radiant Silvergun. 9.5/10, absolutely fantastic. (Of course I haven't beat it because it's damn difficult )
I'm not as well versed in shooters as i'd assume most shooter fans are, but i've played a few popular ones (Ikaruga, RType, Gradius, Raiden, Shikigami no Shiro, Toho Project and a load of 8-bit ones to name a few) and this is just amazing. Starting with all the weapons is awesome, albeit confusing at first, the sword thing is awesome, and there's nothing crapty about this game like the anchor mechanic in THE. I love that there's a boss every 4 seconds too. Considering the framerate of some Saturn games, this runs spectacularly! And the music isn't bad either. I much enjoy Ikaruga's comboing system more (just because the whole black/white system makes things really simple) and as a whole perhaps I enjoy the... er... "non boss" sections of Ikaruga more since comboing is easier (not to mention the game is easier! ), perhaps that's because of the whole Minimalist vs. Maximalist thing but Radiant Silvergun is by no means an unworthy competitor to Ikaruga, I even love seeing little things in it that were transferred over to Ikaruga, like that part where you have to fly through the narrow gaps in thin sections of walls. Of course I probably have plenty more of the game to play (I don't exactly know how long it is) and i'm excited to see every second. Consider the 9.5 preliminary, but it's made a superb first impression on me.
Sometimes I feel like i'm playing Starfox 64 with the faces popping up and the style of the bosses, is that just me? Anyway, I gotta pick up Recca soon!

I have been meaning to get this myself but everytime i have money for it i end up buying something else. Will get it eventually and finally be able to play it myself looks pretty sweet.
I never got into Radiant Silvergun much when I owned it. Twas a good game, for sure. I'd like to revisit it one day, but not for the prices it goes for nowadays, so it'll likely remain a fuzzy memory of a game I'll never play again .
I remember being fond of Radiant Silvergun but I never thought it deserved the hype it got. Even after spending beaucoup bucks importing the thing when it first came out....I never felt it was as great as people claimed. I agree that it's good, but you're not missing anything if you've never played it.
Why bother putting it in a spoiler if i'm obviously gonna read it lol. No I haven't! Gotta try to now. UGH. I just bought DoDonPachi and like 5 beatmania games and I need to get good at Steel Battalion and beat Mass Effect and you're just piling it on my list of todos. But Christmas NiGHTS is so fantastic that it's worth it. It's a bargain too! Only goes for around $8 so everyone on this bloody forum needs to buy it.
I endorse your score for CoD 3. They graphics were better than 2's, but for some reason I didn't finish 3 while I played through 2 once and then halfway through again.

It's totally worth it! It's a great glimpse at what a...
3D Sonic
might have been like on Saturn. It's quite fun. It's kind of like playing as the kid, except you can go faster and there's no clock chasing you. Your grade is based on time instead of score. And it's even complete with a boss fight, which is, er, interesting. Check it out!

Not entirely. There were a bunch of different ways you could get it.
<benstylus> what crappy game from 15 years ago have you been playing lately?
I've been playing Bully: Scholarship Edition for the 360 and it's a ton of fun, I was looking for a game to last me a week or so until Rainbow Six Vegas 2 comes out and now I'm patiently awaiting GTAIV after having played Bully, it's just an easier simplified GTA but so much fun. I'm just kinda down on it because it works on a save feature and my power went out after having played for about 4 hours without saving and now I have to replay a huge chunk of it. Overall I'd give it a 8.5/10
Seaquest (2600) 8/10 - A friend told me to play this since I was probably the only person he knew with a 2600 and he's been playing it on GameTap. Lots of fun. Good to know a retro game can hold the interest of someone who's probably absorbed in Mass Effect and Halo 3 Still there's only one reason to get GameTap: Shark! Shark!
Visit my $3.50 rental thread! I'm on spring break until March 15, no access to many games!
Jeanne D'Arc - Won't score this one yet since I'm only 12 hours in, but damn is this game fudgein fun. It's not uber easy, but they also don't get cheap to win against you. A few camera things I'd fix, but other than that, this is one of the best RPGs I've ever played (even if the storyline is very 'light')

The one genre I'm decent at is RPGs so I wouldn't say it's necessarily easy. Of course just like any RPG you could level the crap out of your team before going into battle, but I've only done that twice and it's almost like a chess match trying to decide who/where/what I'm going to do. I love it, but if you don't like games like FF Tactics it probably wouldn't be up your alley.
