I think people are waiting to see a fluffy pussy.
Where's John when you need him?
Astonishing new research reveals that, contrary to popular opinion, enough may not necessarily be enough, as had been believed previously.

Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time (through Collector's Edition) - 8/10 - I can't believe I waited this long to play it. I'm hooked despite it being a decade old. Also this is the first Zelda game that I'm seriously playing through (I tried the NES LoZ on the same disc for a few minutes but didn't like it). |

Nope, no job. Just graduated and am looking for a job rather haphazardly, lol. The game is great because you dont have to battle constantly and there are so many other things to do that dont directly involve fighting random things. There is no way I could have spent that much time if it was strictly fighting monsters.
ot: started reading again, almost read half of The Old Man and the Sea last night probably finish it tonight. Also checking out some jobs online.

Oh and you're wrong j_factor, while YDKJ is indeed a fun game (I still want to get both PSOne games), I'd rather play Buzz!
Why did they stop making new YDKJ games anyway? I remember they made a TV game show out of it with Pee Wee Herman as the host at least 6 or 7 years ago. I watched all six episodes until the day it was canceled!

The Bourne Conspiracy (360)
Only played 2 missions, so I won't score it yet, but it's definitely a lot of fun. It has the same type of QTE's that were in Shenmue, and the fighting is very easy to use and has some fun features. The gun controls are a little wacky and it's really hard to aim at first, but you get used to it. The story is cool so far, a lot like the movies, but with more action. The achievements are all doable.

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (360) 7.5/10 - Only played for about 3 hours today but it was fun. I like the fact that its a tactical run n gun shooter. The only downside is the amount of vehicles can be over-whelming....I was getting the crap blasted out of me by enemy tank-like things. I rented it but if the online is fun enough I might have to buy this one |

Mario Kart Wii - 8/10 - It's a fun multiplayer, but I'd prefer Mario Kart DS for the sake of portability.
BioShock - 8.5/10 - It's fun, but I'm not a huge FPS fan. I like that they spiced up the genre.
Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis - 9/10 - Still one of my fave handheld strategies. The dialogue is not super great, but still fun.
Super Mario World - 10/10 - I could play this game 20 years from now and still have as much fun. |

Coded Arms (PSP) - 7/10 - Feels sort of repetitive since you're shooting the same enemies over and over again, and the story is bland. The score would've been lower if there wasn't an option to change the control config (type C is the best).
Asphalt Urban GT 2 (DS) - 6/10 - It's more like an expansion pack than a sequel since it reuses the same courses from the first one. It's very easy and there is no challenge at all.
Brain Age (DS) - 9/10 - Makes great use of the DS's features, though it makes me feel stupid sometimes. The Sudoku game is a good break and I'm not even into puzzles that much.
Xmen vs Street Fighter (PS) - 7/10 - It sucks compared to the other versions but it's still a good game by itself. It's a shame that there are no extra features to make up for the lack of tag team fighting.
Marvel vs Capcom (PS) - 8/10 - Better than the XvSF port as it has a limited tag team mode and little extras that other versions don't have.
Now I just have to find another copy of MSH vs SF since my ebay seller didn't seem to have shipped it. |

Gran Turismo 5 - 6.5/10 - Yeah, my score went down. This game serious has zero AI. It's not just bad AI, it's non-existent. Once you get to the higher races the dude in 1st drives flawlessly and you simply can't beat him unless you (1) also drive flawless lines, (2) don't squeal your tires, and (3) draft off every single car on your way to the front. It's impossible...partially because I think they're trying to make more game out of this very skimpy offering. Oh, and who knew the AWD GT-R can drift constantly. However, the HD videos of the GT-R and Evo X tooling Nueburgring are fudging sweet as hell.

Nice. The demo felt a bit weird to me but I got a good vibe off it. I'm gonna try to grab the game at some point. |
