Does that matter if you're looking to play the game? Or GASP you could go to the store. Or better yet trade for it. Im not sure if Shadowchemist is trying to fill a void in his life or repressing terrible memories with his complete Shadowhearts or whatever game excites him. |

Their store policies include things like marking used collector's edition games at normal price, mistaking bonus demo discs for full games (happened to me TWICE with the MP2 demo that comes with MP), and general other mismarkings that can benefit the buyer. Just because they're idiots sometimes doesn't mean it's all bad.
Trade me your Steel Battalion / Tekki games, imports, promos, and anything else related!

Excellent game. It's so much better than the first, easily worth twice the cost! The ONLY downside to it is that Multi-Player is only local.
That is the question. |

And selling gutted games claiming they're new. Even when the casing has been on the shelf and beat to crap. Even when it's missing the manual. And even when the game came out the day before. They may make one or two mistakes that benefit the customers, but for every one of those, there's another story where they literally bought the entire stock of MvC2 PS2 reprints from estarland (might've been a different site, I forget which, it was reported on CAG) only to sell it for double what they paid for it. A few of those copies were brand new, so they went ahead and took off the shrink wrap so they didn't have to sell it for $40, they could technically sell it for $80 on their site. They fudging suck.

Damn dude, relax.
A lot of people prefer to have complete games for any number of reasons. If you don't, that's fine, but understand that quite a few of us do. And yes, we play the game. Also, disc only games are worth less. Despite this, Gamestop charges the same amount. Why pay for a complete game and risk getting an incomplete copy? And yes, you can go to the store, but I obviously wasn't referring to physical stores in my post.
This is something that's wrong with Gamestop, which is what you asked.
I won't make the mistake of answering another question of yours because apparently you know things and I do not. Nothing is wrong with Gamestop; they're a flawless corporation and a model for all other businesses. I love being able to trade in my used games and then using that money to pre-order games due for release in six months. I crap my pants with elation every time I buy a game and get the guide at 20% off. I'd pre-order my food if I could, which goes back to my statement that Gamestop is a model for all other businesses.

Again, I'll start posting something relavent to the topic.
Gears of War (Xbox 360) - 9.25/10 - Big, tough men killing big, tough monsters with big, tough guns while riding big, (Built Ford) tough trucks. I played co-op a few months ago with a friend, now that I have my own 360, and even though I can't play co-op right now, the thrills haven't dried up. There are oly a few things I can think of that keeps this game from being a near perfect game, which I'll mention in a future review. Picking up Gears of War is highly recommended.

Especially since you don't want to miss Gears 2. E3 coverage was just awesome.
If there's any reason to put up with Xbox 360's Quality Control bullcrap it's Gears.

Eternal Sonata - 6/10 - Graphics were great and combat was fun (for a while).. but it was boring.
Bionic Commando - 8/10 - 'tis a fun game.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - 9/10 - Awesomeness. Voice acting/writing is so lame, it's awesome. |

Do you mind if I forward your post to Midway and Namco Bandai in hopes that they take it to heart?
I'm sorry. I'm just sick of playing Mortal Kombat 3 and Dig Dug the same way they played upon initial release.

I've played through about half of BCR so far and I'd say that overall it does feel pretty much the same as the original. Maybe it's just because of how much time I put into the original, but the first few areas were a bit too easy, but then the Docks(I think, the one kinda at night with all of the lamp posts) and the two underground sewer levels(were these even in the original, I don't seem to remember them and I doubt I'd forget them since they're both hard as hell) were pretty brutal.
BCR is the best $10 you could spend on a game this year, hands down.

360, of course. I don't have a PStripple (yet).
And since I've had even more opportunity to play it more, it's even more awesome. This is what gaming used to feel like to me. I loves it.

Right before the game you can change the way the playbook looks to either simple options or to let the system choose the plays for you altogether. That might help with the confusion and complexity.

Metal Gear Solid 4 (PS3)-9/10
I played about 3 or 4 hours of this and it's awesome. The graphics are stellar, the weapons and gadgets are cool, and so far the storyline seems to be progressing really well. The cut scenes are pretty amazing, the voices actually match the movement of the lips and facial expressions, etc. It just looks and plays great. Sometimes it's easy to get lost down all the different alleyways and buildings but I'm sure it's something to get used to. I can't give a 10 until I finish it but it looks like it's headed that way. |

Pokemon Diamond: Still going, passed the 350 hour mark several hors ago... i now have 399 out of 493 pokemon, and still playing. I hope you can fudging transfer them to the next game faster than 6 per day.
Pokemon Sapphire: Already played through it before and sold it, but I borrowed it and blazed through this one to get the legendary pokemon and transfer them to diamond. On the way I realized just how much faster things go in this one - battles literally take about half the time, movement is faster, etc. Made going back to diamond a bit more difficult with the slower battles.
recently got Capcom Classics Mini-mix as well... it has:
Mighty Final Fight - better than SNES final fight, though way too easy.
Bionic Commando - it's Bionic fudging Commando. 'Nuff said.
Strider - Capcom killed this game on the GBA... it's got such awful slowdown compared to the NES version. Color me disappointed, as this is the one I was most looking forward to playing again.
Bubble Symphony: It's everything you love about bubble bobble multiplied by a thousand and four.
One day I will kill him.
Then, I will be Ten. |

Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow: By far my favorite DS game and one of the few games that I still go back to and replay it from time to time. Can't wait for Order of Ecclesia to arrive.
Condemned 2 (PS3): The game mechanics are great, but I just can't get over the dark atmosphere. I played it for about 5 hrs and I don't think I want to continue.
