I just played the driving level. I change my rating to a 9. That's how amazing that level is. I'm starting to like this game more and more. I highly suggest it.

I wanted to find out why Bourne got a 75% on GR so I looked for the lowest credible score and they basically said its "a fun evening" with high production values but not a game that involves much story or challenge.

Ninja Gaiden II - 9/10

Love it so far. I'm really bad at the game, but I still have a ton of fun slicing bad guys apart. The graphics are very nice, and I like the new weapons a lot. Its incredibly gory. I think I personally like it a bit more then the first Ninja Gaiden on Xbox, because that one was way to hard for me to finish. I think I'll actually be able to beat NGII.

Thats just how I feel about it. Ninja Gaiden isn't really about the story or anything, so the fact that this one is gorier, a bit prettier, and slightly easier just makes it my preference. Everything else is mostly just more of the same.

Medal of Honor Heroes 2 (Wii) - 6/10

The AI is the worst part of this game, both ally and enemy. The checkpoints are inconsistent and the graphics could be better. Thankfully the control is great but I couldn't get over the bad AI.

If you turn the game on the hardest difficulty, it's really difficult. The story is great so far, and I'm only on the middle difficulty, and it's still fairly difficult. It's not a super long game, but it's definitely worth a playthrough.

WarpSpeed (GEN) - 6.5/10

Don't hear a lot about this game, probably often gets lost in the shuffle of actually good Genny games. I've never heard of anyone liking this game, but I don't have too much of a problem with it. It's pretty slow and combat is frustrating but I dunno, I get a bit sucked in and found myself playing longer than I normally play middling games.

Sounds suspicious. I'm keeping it. (I'd love to trade it but I wanna play * grin * ) Oh right and I'm a greedy hoarder. I'd have to guess it's worth around $0.50 as well.

oh i like the genesis too, but there's like 700 games for it compared to approx. 250 each for saturn and dc (us release anyway).

It's only natural that a few would slip through the cracks.

DOOM (XBLA) - 7/10 - Pretty fun, but the later levels are becoming more trouble than they're worth, what with the mazes getting way more convoluted (and the map function is just as confusing). Co-op would be pretty fun, though.

Wii Fit - 8/10 - Only played it a little bit (it belongs to my sister-in-law), but it seems quite interesting. I've found out that my balance is pretty off and that I weigh a bit less than what I did two months ago.

Battle Monsters (Saturn):

Any game that features a pair of emo ronald McDonald twins who leap around like idiots and make a Michael Jackson-eque "HOOH" noise every other second deserves to be played over and over again. Utterly fantastic stage design for the time - multiple tiers, breakable platforms, and some quite imaginative places. Quite an interesting array of characters too - it's like a live action digitized characters version of Darkstalkers. Too bad it's just so awkward.

Michael Jackson's Moonwalker (Genesis):
HOOOOOOOOOOOH!

Guitar Hero II (360)-7/10
After playing III this one just doesn't feel right. The songs in the background weren't very loud, you could barely hear the lyrics. Maybe there was an option to turn it up though. The notes were strange, they were smaller and difficult to see most of the time. The guitar was also a piece of crap, it was too small and oddly shaped.

Ninja Gaiden 2 (360 Demo)-9/10
Aside from being a little repetitive this one seems just as good as the original. It's not as difficult for one thing so that makes it more fun to play, 10 minutes into the demo I picked up several weapons that weren't in the first game and killed quite a few enemies by chopping off arms and heads. The graphics are great and it's pretty gory.

GTA IV (360)-9/10
While not as good as expected I've waited a while for this game to come out and it's great. If you weren't a fan of the other GTA games, this one probably won't change your mind. It's the same stuff as far as missions go-races, go kill this guy he owes me money, go kill these guys they ripped me off, I'm the baddest man on the planet but go kill this guy for me for 2 grand. On the previous games, that got repetitive for me but it hasn't happed so far. The driving between the islands for missions pisses me off so I take cab rides instead. The graphics are great but I have noticed a few problems here and there with detailed buildings just turning into solid gray and the roads also. The cops aren't as alert as previous games, I bumped into cars and killed people right in front of a police car and they did nothing. You pretty much have to bump into them or fire shots at them before they will quit eating their donuts.

GRID (360 Demo)7/10
It's realistic but not my kind of racing game. I'm not even that big of fan of racing games but I much prefer games like Burnout or something. If you barely damage one wheel you are fudgeed in a race. Graphics are top-notch.

Dr. Mario Online Rx {Wii} 7/10
Surprisingly, I have more fun playing this in single player mode than I do playing online. Still a good game, I just wish I didn't waste $10 on it. I've played it a total of 4 times since I bought it the day it came out. The new mode is more fun that it looked in previews.

Welcome to realism. * wink *

Codemasters' Race Driver series (which I guess is now GRID) has always been pretty harsh if you don't drive well. It's the only "realistic" racer I like though...

Okami (Wii): 9.9/10 - I still can't believe this game didn't go that well over with gamers on the PS2. Despite the fact that I think sequals/prequals are for the terminally unimaginative, I really hope that Clover Studios comes back and makes an Okami 2. If not, I say, "let ReadyAtDawn take a stab at it!"

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (PS3): 9/10 - I know I'll get alot of hate for saying that it's not 100% perfection, but being only 3 or so hours in, I'd say this is above average. As I progress, it'll probably get better and better.
