I finished Gun for the 360 a few days ago
I was really surprised as to how much I enjoyed this game. I really loved the whole rank up system and the missions kept me pretty interested. I wish there would have been more varity in the side missions though. If Gun 2 is ever released, I think they should keep the same formula just expand everything in the game. |

I picked up Gun for $5 last Black Friday and was really surprised at how fun it was. The storyline missions were varied and the game was the perfect length to not wear out its welcome. Bring on Gun 2!

God of War Chains of Olympus
Ridiculously short, but amazing. The first God of War game they gave you a weapon better than your Chains of Athena.
I could punch dudes in the face with that giant hand FOREVER.

I haven't played it yet, but is it really that much different than GoW1 and 2? I have it sitting on my PSP, but I'm still obsessed too much with Jeanne D'Arc to start anything else on it.

It's awesome.
If anything, play it for the Gauntlet of Zeus.
And you can beat the entire game, with all your weapons maxed out in 4 hours flat. You can do that in a single sitting. Just play it.

Yeah, I ran through GoW1 pretty quickly so I imagine a portable version that's similar couldn't be any longer than it. Will do, probably before I sell my PSP.

Beat Star Wars Republic Commando on PC today. It was alright. Just towards the end, I started to control the squad more which made it a little better fighting through the tough parts. My main gripe was with the weak weapons and all the bacta stations everywhere.
Ran into a glitch where a squad mate died and it wouldn't let me revive him. Tried looking for a console command but I couldn't find one. Eventually had to use a command to skip to the next load point, which just happened to be the end of the game 0_o.
Overall...kinda sucky but in a good way. |

I just got this in a trade and am currently stuck trying to beat this guy in race but I keep killing my horse. I'm hoping I like it as much as Red Dead Revolver.
And I beat Call of Duty World at War. |

I just beat The 7th Saga. I first played that game when I was pretty young, like 8 or 9. 14 years later and I finally beat it. Great game. I might just go through it again with another character. |

Beat Bioshock again and got the "good" ending this time. It was just as disappointing of an ending as the bad ending was, in my opinion.

Yeah, I had more fun with it than I thought I would, but I never felt like I needed to play it. It felt like a glorified WoW with an ending and even simpler quests.

I completely ignored the Hand weapon until just before the game ended, and then once I tried it out, I was like, "Oh hell yes." I need to pick up the other two games, mucho pronto.
I'm way behind on the Katamari Damancy discussion, but I'll throw in my two cents: I have all the games, and I love all the games, but it frustrates me because it's not a hard game; it's just a hard game to play well. Damn King of the Cosmos is too damn hard to please. "Oh, this shall not do, should it? You have 11,248 pieces of cheese. Hmmm... that is merely a mediocre star. Muchly the Diet Coke of stars. We shall place it in the sky, we shall, next to the Prince's beat-up '78 Camero, yes?"
Blecch.
Speaking of blecch, I just beat Final Fantasy for the PSP. It is what it: a very pretty, aurally-pleasing, less-frustrating version of the original game. I started on one of the bonus dungeons, but if Square's idea of a bonus dungeon is an "enormous floor of easy-but-frustrating enemies with random encounters every three steps in order to obtain weapons that don't compare to the standard versions", I have a feeling that the real journey has barely begun.
-----------------------------------------
Is it just me, or have copies of Final Fantasy VII become the Stones of Jordan of the game trading world?

I find it difficult to not beat Valve games in one sitting. I think my first runs through Half-Life 2, Ep1, and Ep2 were all one sitting... Actually all of my runes through Ep1 and Ep2 have been one sitting, and most of my Half-Life 1 runs.

Super Street Fighter II Turbo (3DO / PS2 - on Anniversary Collection) are by far the most difficult renditions of the game I've ever played.
Is the HD remix just as hard?

Xenosaga was one of my fave PS2 RPGs. I blew through it, which is rare for me. Mostly the story and the characters that drew me in. Very excellent.
