There's a couple of tournaments at some place called "Play N Trade" or something, there's a street fighter II tourney of all things but the prize is a brand new copy of Street Fighter IV which isnt too bad, i suck at SFII though but im thinking i may be able to win the Soul Calibur IV one |

Mass Effect (Xbox 360): 9.5/10
What a gem of a game. An amazing story, great character development (if you choose to discover their background and change throughout the game), and a decent battle system with tons of options regarding "how" to play. The ending was great too. I had to knock off .5 from the score due to glitches (I got stuck on objects in the environment a couple of times and had to re-load) and slow texture loads occasionally.
This is actually a game that I will consider playing through again (at least partially), just to try a different character class and different conversation options throughout. |

Castle Crashers - 7.5/10 - The game has a great personality to it and while it's fun playing co-op it's essentially nothing more than a button masher with nice aesthetics. |

I bought Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection.
It was probably the best gaming decision I've ever made in my life. It's a pretty legit compilation, and I fudging love Sega Genesis. |

Bought Sonic's Collection as well. Just played a bunch of games (Streets of Rage 2, Mean Bean, some others) with a friend. Reliving my youth.
GRID - 9/10
Got this game way back in July or August and haven't played it yet. DAMN I LOVE IT!

I'm gonna snag Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection on the 360 tomorrow, methinks. I saw it on the shelf, but didn't really look at it much, but I checked on the number (and quality) of Genny games on offer, and it seems well worth it. Apparently there are achievements too . Worth the bling for the 4 Phantasy Star games and the 3 Shining games .

49 total games! Ridiculous. And yeah the achievements are super easy. It pretty much has all the Genesis games I want to play sans Gunstar Heroes, which I have on my Wii. The emulation is top notch. I never saw any slowdown or anything.

Dragon Quest IV DS - 8/10 - I'm about 10 hours into it... It's pretty old school, but I'm having fun with it. I'm probably gonna nab Dragon Quest V DS too. |

NecroVision demo(PC)-9/10-like a cross between call of duty II and painkiller with some Resident evil 4 thrown in. Pretty fun, but one area had massive slowdown. Has a really stupid name though.

flower (PSN) - Still really like it. Searched out all the hidden flowers and got the Urban trophy (The last level is a lot cooler than I thought, I just kind of breezed through it the first time). Still need to get through level 5 without getting shocked.

Art of Fighting Anthology-5/10-Terrible, AoF 3 is semi-playable. How were 3 of these games made? Blech! SNK did a good job on the ports though, atleast from what I hear.
Oh yeah, anybody know what MVS is when I select difficulty? Arcade difficulty or something?

I didn't like the controls, especially the special moves that require you to hold the 1 button and shake the remote and/or nunchuck. I also thought the camera sucked too. Basically anything this game does was done much better in No More Heroes. |

I still haven't played No More Heroes. I should probably do that one of these days. I will probably give Onechanbara a try eventually though. |

Pretty much perfect for what it is. Loses that .1 point because the 360 d pad is garbage. |

Both D-pads are garbage. The 360s is unresponsive and the PS3s is weirdly disjoint.

Doesn't the PS3 have converters to use PS2 controllers? You could get one of those Saturn-style PS2 controllers.

I never got one, although I do have a PS2 Virtua Stick somewhere.

You're just now getting around to this? I really liked that game. I do wish that you would've been able to control at least some of the battles, but it was still a fun game. I just wish it would've been longer, without having to buy the DLC. |
