Just beat Elite Beat Agents once again, but now on Cruisin' difficulty. The last song was so hard, I don't know how will manage to beat the game on Sweetin' Difficulty.
The only song I haven't beaten on EBA on the hardest difficulty is the final one. I get so fudging close and then I miss 1 note and that's it, song is over. I also realized that when you beat the game, you lose the Cat-headed commander in 2-player mode and get Commander Khan or whatever his name is instead. Made me lose all interest in finishing the final song anyway. I like the cat head guy.
I thought this game was just a bunch of hype, but having never played it before I've always been curious. I just beat Snatcher on the Sega CD. I was really impressed with the animation and audio throughout the game. When you beat the game the ending is like a 15 minute long movie about how Snatchers came to be. I've always liked detective-type point-and-click story games, and Snatcher is great.
This was a lot of fun. The story is rather short but there's lots of side missions and a laundry list of stuff to complete for each level. The only thing that frustrated me was the jumping at times.
For the most part, the game was pretty easy on the medium setting - that it until the very last mission. I must have gotten killed like 20 times before I found the deceptively simple solution.
It did kinda piss me off how Alex Mercer survives at the end of the game. Let me spell it out this way - Marcus Fenix survived at the end of Gears of War 1, Kratos survived at the end of God of War 1, Nathan Hale survived at the end of Resistance 1. You see where I'm going with this?
A lot like the first 2 Dragon Warriors, but better. Very archaic quest clues, but the dungeons were pretty cool. Metseta (money) distribution is pretty balanced, but most spells are useless, as there's not any form of magic regeneration in the form of items. The final boss was a dog because I wasn't leveled enough.
I don't know what I would have done without a walkthrough, though. The dungeons can get pretty confusing, even with a map.
I finally got around to beating Zelda: Twilight Princess a couple days ago. I got 15 hours into that game 2 years ago and left for school and never picked it up again. I just started from scratch and beat it in a little over 30 hours over the course of a couple weeks.
Working on Shadow of the Colussus now, doesn't seem like it'll take me long, but what an awesome game.
Only shooter I've ever beaten without dying on my very first try. I even let the game loop on "hard" and played it again until I got "Game Over" screened.
Not bad for a $5 pickup, but don't expect much else than 35 minutes of mindless shooting.
I was playing SotC, but in the midst of getting frustrated to no end I just haven't had the desire to get back into it.
