Hannah Montana The Movie (360) - 2.5/10
Everything about this game is pretty much a joke, even if you were a fan you'd be disappointed. The graphics, sound, and length all scream 6 weeks of budget development. I'm actually kind of surprised its a Disney property, you'd think in this day and age they could at least make an average quality game. |

Is this one of those games that might be more fun on the wii what with motion control webslinging, like Force Unleashed is with Force Powers, or should I stick to getting a ps3 version? |

It was OK. It started off fine, but the game quickly became the same thing over and over again. There wasn't enough variety in the mission types. |

beat Pokemon SoulSilver the other day. Best Pokemon game(s) yet, absolutely amazing game. Oh, and, (not really surprising, but) Red was definitely the toughest battle in any Pokemon game (yet).

9/26 - Cross Edge (PS3) - Somewhat lack-luster as far as these types of RPGs go. Way too much grinding to achieve anything: good gear, trophies (beat it and finished with just 7% trophy completion...WTF), etc.. But with an all-star cast and the lack of games like this for the PS3 I can't complain all too much.
9/13 - Guardian Heroes (Saturn)
9/11 - Dr.Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (Gen)
9/10 - Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon (DS) (time = 26:50'26'')
8/29 - Suikoden Tierkreis (DS) (time = roughly 54 hours)
7/24 - Luminous Arc (DS) (time = 26:33)
5/25 - Patapon 2 (PSP) (time = 23:50'11'')
5/17 - Breath of Fire (SNES)
4/30 - Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars (DS)
4/21 - Mickey and Minnie Great Circus Mystery (SNES)
4/20 - Patapon (PSP) (time = 20:24'56'')
4/12 - Final Fantasy Tactics A2 Grimoire of the Rift (DS) (time = about 83 hours!)
3/26 - Eternal Sonata (PS3) (time = 33:38'58'')
3/22 - Resident Evil 5 (PS3)(Veteran, Amatuer, Professional, platinum trophy)
3/14 - Kirby Nightmare in Dream Land (GBA)
2/23 - The Rocketeer (NES)
2/19 - Street Fighter IV (PS3)
2/14 - Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection (PS3) (100% trophy completion)
2/12 - Prince of Persia (PS3)
1/30 - Valkyria Chronicles (PS3) (time = about 40 hours)
1/10 - Fallout 3 (PS3) (time = 69:40'02'')

You got to read up before you start the game if you want to be an achievement/trophy pro. Trust me, I've played Hannah Montana The Movie. |

So for a huge Disgaea fan who hasn't played many of the other games characters in Cross Edge are from... yes or no?

It's hard to say the only characters from Disgaea that are in Cross Edge are Etna and the Prinny.
If you love them two to death than maybe but I personally didn't care for them in this game.

Etna's the greatest
Sky Odyssey - 7.5/10 - I love this game. Monkbonk recommended it to me after I loved the flight game in Wii Sports Resort and I owe him $4959 for that. This game is pure business. It doesn't bullcrap you with tutorials or easy starting levels, every level holds its own and it's clearly tailored towards people who have been playing games. It's challenging without being frustrating. It has graphical issues (being from 2000) but still manages to be beautiful and install a sense of adventure! I love the fact that it doesn't mess around with a pointless story. It's just "get the maps, find the ruins, you win" and you just... understand it.
I'd kill for a modern sequel. Too many games are focused on action or shooting these days. It was incredibly refreshing to play a challenging game without action elements.

Yeah. A lot of people complain that the campaign is short and can be beaten in one sitting, but I had no problem taking my time playing it through the last 4 days trying to collect as many audio logs as possible to make the eventual second playthrough a bit easier.
I just started playing FireFight mode, and even on Normal difficulty it gets very hard and I used up all my lives in under 20 minutes. |
