My nearest HWV plans to start their sale "later in the week," probably Wednesday. I hate when these sales start because nobody seems to know what the fudge is going on...but love picking stores clean when they finally do happen. |

Yeah, went to my rinky dink store and picked up a few things. They said they were hit pretty good today:

If I wasn't going to Pittsburgh for baseball/shopping I would have spent more, but nothing jumped out at me. Though if I had a 360 I'd have an instant collection. Guess I coulda found some flipping material for Gamestop, just really wasn't in the mood  .

I went into 1 of my 2 Hollywood Videos (within 5 minutes of each other), and it blew my mind. I didnt even have time to look through the giant wall of games that would of rung up at 4.99 so I grabbed 4 or 5 titles that were complete, spent the money in my wallet, and am going back on Saturday when they get a shipment of 500 current gen used titles that will apply for the sale.
I missed the second hollywood video because they changed the hours so they close at 10 instead of midnight. Going to check that one tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up, because I have a feeling this is going to be huuuuuuuuuuuuge.

damn all you guys LOL. the 2 or 3 hollywood only stores by me all closed at least a good 5+ yrs ago. im so tempted to drive to albany area.
i was their last summer for all my correction officer tests(about 2 hour drive up north) within a 5 mile radius i saw 4 hollywood videos two were big gamecrazy chains.

btw for those who dont know too and im assuming you all do. gamestop still has their trade 6 or more get an extra 40%+10% edge card.
granted its gamestop credit but you can make some massive trade credit. |

thats an old pic of me and atm i dont look anything like it. been on unemployment for a month so basically said heck with it and grew a beard.
(only took two weeks to get a pretty hefty one being that im irish and italian LOL)
but yah i wouldnt drive up their my luck they would already be cleaned out by now. |

Went to a HW that had no idea what was going on. Got them to talk to the other store, then had to wait for him to double check with seemingly every one in his district. Said there was a limit of 1 per title, wasn't gonna argue considering the only double I had was Pokemon Platinum. Most games were in god awful ex-rental condition:

I stayed in a Hyatt with that exact room and it is horrendous. The TV is in the worst possible spot unless you are solo in the room. Not a fan. |

My room had the TV on pull-out/swivel bracketing, so the placement wasn't a big issue for me. The TV could be flipped to either the bedroom or living room area. |
