Speaking of Goozex, you'll remember that last weeked, I scored a Riddick 360 and a 50 Cent 360, which netted me a total of 1750 pts (950 for Riddick and 800 for 50 Cent). So for $30, I got the following complete DS games off Goozex:
Animal Crossing WW (350)
Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales (200)
Mega Man ZX (250)
Metroid Prime Hunters (300)
Rune Factory (300)
Theme Park (100)
And I gots 250 pts left to spare

And you can check the "stock" of a game - go to the info page and click the trading info tab and it will give you detailed queue information. But yeah, I haven't used the Gooz in a while, and normally those points would have been matched within an hour.

I should start using goozex.
But before I started using any trading sites or ebay like 2 years ago I signed up there, had second thoughts about sending the game and got a negative feedback. It would be bad to trade with that neg and kind of suspicious to start another account, even though now I know better than to do something like that.

The system is automated so there is nothing wrong with using the same account and moving forward from a mistake. Doing anything else might get you banned if they find a second account. |

I have two negatives on my account myself, though they are both bullcrap and were left before the new system that lets you dispute negatives.

I have a negative on my Goozex because I sent the guy an original Xbox game and he tried to play it on a 360, but it wasn't a compatible title.
That's when I came here. |

I had a guy try to return a bunch of Xbox games the other day because he bought them assuming they were all backwards compatible because he had an elite.

My final 250 pts got me Resident Evil 4 Wii if anyone is interested.
Also got 400 pts for march madness 08 ps3 that I bought from kmart for $5 years ago, and got a Pokemon Pearl (350) with the points
Edit: Visc, rumor has it that the PC version of Twin Snakes is actually harder to find than the black label. I don't think game values reflect that though.

1. Professor Layton for DS is 26.99 used. If you buy 3 of them during a Buy 2 Get 1 Sale, it will cost 48.58 total. It has a base trade in value $20 dollars at Gamestop at the moment. If you trade in 6 games at a time right now, you get a 40% boost in credit, and the 10% from your EDGE card always stacks, making it 50%. That makes each of your Professor Layton games get $30 each, a profit of $13.81 PER GAME. Then you use that credit to get more games.

There are numerous caveats and pitfalls to the deal. For example, a buy 2 get 1 sale has to be going on (though there is a way around it). And you obviously can't trade in multiples of the same game. And you have to trade in 6 at a time. And you'd raise a red flag if you used the credit to buy the same games you traded in. And the 40% boost might end before the next b2g1. But I'm not explaining anymore, as my benevolence has run out. I mean gosh darn, if you can't do a very simple amount of work on your own end, you don't deserve to get everything spoonfed to you.
KoG - those base values are correct.  @ Layton in particular, as that can be found cheaper very easily.

Good craigslist find:
5 broken PS2 (3 DRE, 1 broken drive, 1 in pieces)
Cost was $25 total.
The guy said he was fixing them up and selling them on ebay, but got a job and doesn't have the time anymore. Said he has some broken 360s in storage which he will sell me for $15 each once he finds them. I'll buy a warranty seal off ebay and send em into MS.
