Not sure if this qualifies as a "find" as I'm not really sure what it's worth.
I bought (what I thought was) a complete copy of Jet Force Gemini for the N64 for $3 at a local pawn shop. I get home and open it up to find the cart is actually Donkey Kong 64 (Yellow cart). *shrug*

It's worth at least twice that, so that's a find!

Well you don't have to pay for it in order to get it. You have to use codes from DS and Wii games.
It's a bonus. |

Taking Club Nintendo codes out of the GS cases is why I have 4 copies Game & Watch Collection. :)
BioHazardMan - The market on ebay is pretty flooded right now because of Kmart clearance but I assume it'll sell well around Christmas.

YMMV. My best buy has a special where anything with a green sticker on it is 50% off. even though BlazBlue just came out, apparently they already wanted to get rid of it...works for me!
GameStop:
House of the Dead Overkill - $17.54
Littlebigplanet - $35.74 - I will be getting another $15 off this. There was a sticker on it for $15 off the marked price, but the fudgeer wouldn't give it to me. He kept saying that it already took it off, when the money that was taken off was for the coupon and the Edge. Fudging idiot would not give me the extra $15, so I'll have to call and talk to a manager and get some money back.

No, but you can create family accounts and link them together, each family account can register the game and all points are shared.
Though I make multiple accounts to different relative's addresses so I get multiples of the platinum award.

No need to put money up front for the games.
I usually just preorder something, then ask the guy if I can have the codes. I then cancel the preorder whenever an employee is being an butt-hole.

Had another awesome trip to the swap meet this weekend. On Saturday, I got the following for free:
I paid $8 for those two games, along with Super Mario 64. A vendor in another isle paid me $8 for Mario 64. So in the end, I made my money back and kept Smash Bros. & Zelda. Today, I talked to the vendor who sold me System Shock 2, FFVII and the others last week. He wasn't able to find the second disc for Skies of Arcadia, but brought along a few binders with CD's inside. There were plenty of popular/well known bands, like Coldplay, Angels & Airwaves, Alice in Chains, My Morning Jacket, and many others, but I wasn't too interested in anything. In one HUGE binder, I noticed a PS1 game manual in the back and just instantly knew it would be good. Sure enough, I ended up with the following for $13:
BoF's are disc & manual, Lunar 2 has all three discs, making of CD, and soundtrack. Obviously, Star Ocean is only disc one. Sucks finding good games that are missing discs, but he's throwing them in for free. In any case, dude mentioned that he has boxes and boxes of CD's and games that he has to sort through. He bought the lot from an estate sale. Considering the quality crap I've already found, I can only imagine what other amazing material he has. I have a feeling this is just the tip of the iceberg. |

I mentioned in an earlier post that I was buying a Gamecube kiosk for $150. Well... after spending a couple hours at the guys house helping him take it apart... and then a couple hours at my house putting it back together on my own... here it is:
It has some minor cosmetic damage... but is in otherwise great condition. Everything lights up and turns on at the flick of a switch.
