DMC5's pretty fun! VERY pretty, the cutscenes are A+, but the intro drags on a bit longer than you'd like. The camera overall isn't amazing, but I'm sure it can be tweaked.

Delta rune - 8.5/10 - it's free, so no complaints here. Looking forward to the full game!

Yeah, I'm fighting the camera just a little bit, but really only when I'm trying to look for hidden areas/items within levels. It works great for me when I'm in combat.

DMC5 is great. On Mission 4 now but yea my only gripes are the camera and it feels a bit sluggish compared to DMC3 and DMC4 but not by much.

I thought Lost Legacy was great, you play as Chloe and interact with Nadine as a NPC

Just beat Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice (on PS4). Holyfudgingcrap. This is a perfect game. I can't think of any critiques. It's beautiful, tense, and an emotional gutwrench. In my top 3 games I've ever played, hands down.

This is how I felt too when I played it. It was really an intense psychological experience. I beat it twice.

I barely made it through the game once, I just wasn't feeling the story too much and the gameplay was not very good. Incredibly impressive from a technical standpoint though and it really shined on the X1X. Seemed like one of those games where you either really enjoy it or you don't care for it too much.

I did buy that along with the first Unravel, they were on sale for $7.99 each. I do wanna play it in co-op with my friend, but I don't want to start it yet because we're in the middle of a couple other co-op games already. I do look forward to it though and I hope this is the next one we start.

Is Uncharted 4 still full price there? You could just import it, PS4 is region free and Uncharted 4 and Uncharted: Lost Legacy dropped to $20 each here last year.

Ms. Splosion Man {Nintendo Switch} 8/10
This game is a blast. I'm late to the party because I skipped this on Xbox 360 but I'm glad I saw it on sale in the eShop and didn't want to miss out again.

While the game is certainly fun in single player, I would recommend this more if you have friends to play with, either locally or online. I've been playing online with my friend and lag has not been an issue, so if indie devs can put online play in their co-op platformers I don't wanna hear any more excuses from Nintendo about why they won't do it with Mario.

It might not be as casual-gamer friendly as the New Super Mario Bros. series, because in those games if you play with a less skilled player you could pretty much just go and play through the game without ever interacting with them or using any kind of teamwork, but teamwork is definitely required in Ms. Splosion Man.

There are 100 levels in the game, 50 for single player and 50 completely different levels for multiplayer, so either way you play it you're getting a full game's worth of content. There's also "2 girls 1 controller" mode where you can play the multiplayer levels alone by controlling two characters at once.

I only have one main complaint with the game and that's how when the camera zooms out pretty far (especially in multiplayer mode) it becomes easy to lose track of your character because they look so small. It is not so bad when playing on the TV, but it sure sucks in handheld mode.

Left Alive- Sony PlayStation 4 Pro - 2/10. Never ever play this game. Ever. Idk where it came from, or who greenlit this, but it sure is terrible. I would sell it on here but I honestly would not sleep soundly knowing I profited off of such a dumpster fire of a game.

Yeah, I'm sure I'm in the minority on the Lost Legacy over 4 thing. But I'm in the minority on pretty much everything Uncharted related so i'm not really surprised. I love 4, but I'd give Lost Legacy the slight edge. I love how open things are for the first half of Lost Legacy and the freedom you have. It's slower paced which I'm sure people didn't like, but I really like that about it. Chloe and Nadine also have really good chemistry and I'm glad Claudia Black got a chance to voice Chloe again. I really hope it wasn't a one off...i'd love to see Chloe star in another game.

Left Alive already received a 60% price cut in Japan and it has been out for like a week. Yeah, not looking good for this one. I'm not even sure what the game is trying to be. It looks like a bit of a mess outside of the Metal Gear style art.

Ya it's at 39 on Metacritic. And I'm not surprised the game got slashed in price. Still mad I bought this on an impulse cause I heard it was the writer of Armored Core and artist from MGS. I shut it off in under an hour. It isn't sure what it wants to be. One part Metal Gear Survive. One part MGS. Little to no parts mech combat. All parts nonsense.

To be fair, it looked crapty from the very beginning. The only thing that was slightly interesting is the metal gear lookalike characters.

I only look at PS Store, dont buy physical, and yeah it's like 25 bucks now but I consider that full price now and I'm a real deal whore :D
So i'll wait til it goes on some flash sale or something

In the meantime started Far Cry 5. That beginning was intense! Cinematic af

PC / Windows Cities Skylines. Paradox is such an amazing studio, they put so much into their games and keep supporting them. Cities is so good, its everything SimCity ever wanted to be but wasn't. I think about this game all the time like what can I do with my city or an idea to solve a traffic problem will come to me. its one of those time warp things where you look up and hours are just gone.

Move the Mouse on youtube has some great vids on it ive def learned a lot about how the games thinks and gotten good ideas on things from his vids.

im having a hard time breaking loose and taking a break from it to play other games ive been wanting to play, though I plan to start Caligula effect overdose tonight or tomorrow.

Red Faction {PlayStation 4} 7/10
I never played it when it originally released (I did play Red Faction II on GameCube but remember nothing about it), but playing it now, nearly 20 years later, it definitely feels like I'm playing a game from 20 years ago. It's a little hard to believe that almost 20 years ago the main selling point of this game was the destructible environments, because seeing it for the first time now, it's a bit limited. Speaking of destructible environments, I found it funny that I can use a rocket launcher to blow a hole through a wall, but I saw a little thing that looked like hand sanitizer on a desk and I tried to shoot it but it had no affect. It didn't even leave a visible bullet hole.

The AI of the NPCs is really dumb at times (and so are the things they shout when they see you have a gun pointed at them) and they'll end up getting themselves killed often. And there's apparently no checkpoints, so you'd better remember to save your game often because when you die that is where you will be restarting from (I found that out the hard way).
And a warning if you're a trophy hunter, beating the game on the hardest difficulty doesn't automatically unlock the trophies for beating it on the easier settings. If you want the platinum trophy you'll need to beat this 4 times. I do plan to finish this game (I think I'm halfway through now) but I definitely won't be doing it 3 more times.

The soundtrack is pretty good and the game itself isn't bad, once I reminded myself how old it is I could enjoy it more. The first thing I recommend you do though is get in the options menu and adjust the controls because the way they're setup by default just feels really sluggish.

I have it on Steam from a Humble Bundle from 2012 or 2013. I will get around to it at some point. I just checked now and I see it was upgraded to the Re-Mars-tered Edition for free, so that's pretty cool.

Unfortunately now I'm not sure if I'll beat the original Red Faction. Due to the lack of checkpoints and me being one of those suckers who doesn't use multiple save slots, I'm now in an area where I have only one gun and no more ammo for it and I have to enter a room full of enemies with no way to avoid them. I've spent the last half hour trying to get through this and just keep failing and failing. I checked a guide and I'm actually closer to the end than I thought and I really don't plan to restart the game now.

I played Red Faction a few years after release and it felt really dated even then, I couldn't imagine now. I just remember the destruction in that game being really bad. You could leave a building standing with only one corner column holding it up.

Gears of War 4 (PC) Bought Xbox Game Pass to play this. This is the only Xbox "exclusive" I miss by going PlayStation. My only real complaint is the forced Horde Mode stuff in the Campaign mode.

Although there really isn't such thing as Xbox "exclusive" as everything can be also got on PC. Crackdown 3, Cuphead, Ori and the Blind Forest to name a few. Is there a true Xbox Exclusive game that can't be gotten via PC?

I think the mainline Forza games before 7 and the Horizon series before 3. All though not "exclusive", Rare Replay isn't on the PC either. Also not "exclusive", but a lot of the backwards compatible stuff as well.

Infinite looks like it may be open world with some sort of possible RPG elements (according to a job posting they had listed for 343 Studios). Also going to support slit screen coop like the good ol' days. The reason why this game took so long is because they had to create the Slip Space engine from scratch so they could deliver on the promise of coop being added.
