I'm waiting for the Komplete Edition to buy real cheap. So a year +. I'm too busy with the 4 or 5 Switch games I'm playing right now.

The social media marketing around MK11 really turned me off from it and the unlocking progression system looks dumb as fudge. I think they said with perfect RNG on opening the loot boxes you could possibly get everything unlocked in around 3600 hours, unless you don't mind paying $3600 actual USD to unlock it manually.

Yeah I'm with @DiamondDave. The grind has AAA bullshat written all over it. So I'll pass until probably GOTY edition for $20 and they'll hopefully fix the progression system too by then.

That's what I play Fire Emblem for, the grounded High School experience. Fudge high fantasy in a world completely unlike our own

No prob with a High School sim with FE combat. That sounds very nice.

Yeah, but so was P1, P3 and P4. There's you know, some momentum built there.

I think even the first part of P2 in Japan was a High School sim, but I don't think the second part (that we got) was.

Ya the only one I ever played was 5, so it was pretty new to me. I've never played an FE game so I don't even know how those are supposed to be.

It still kind of irritates me that they wont make another Advanced Wars game because the director can't figure out how to incorporate relationships into the game.

They're very typically like, Noble/Royalty coming to save the dirty peasants, hordes of barbarians and warring factions against a small assembly of elites and princes/princesses.

This looks like some anime bullcrap. It's been trending that way for a long-ass time obviously but we seem to have strayed far from what I would consider to be a more traditional Swords 'n Dragoons affair and we're just loading up on Ouran High School War Club shenanigans. I was really looking forward to a nice, clean canonical entry into the FE world on the Switch. I'm so disinterested at this point that I can't imagine myself buying it anymore.

Kind of feeling the same way. I've only ever played one other FE game (which ever was the first one for the GBA) and thought it was pretty fun, reminded me a lot of Shining Force, but this type of Anime high school stuff kind of really puts me off. I'll have to see more of the game play to see how it all works, but so far this news really dampens my excitement for this game.

The GBA one got me into the series hard. I don't mind anime high school shenanigans (P5, Fudge Adults parts off the story aside, was my GOTY when it came out) but please, not in my fantasy tactical simulator... Just... ugh

May get a Mini if they do that, been playing my N2DSXL after finally opening it. Like it more than my switch as a portable. Says only a few ounces but feels much better than my 3DSXL. Hope the Mini is a true portable. Hope one account using cloud saves to use both as a single user for the old switch and mini switch.

Demos don't reflect how long a game will be

Finally got around to trying Zelda in VR. Woof. Resolution is rough, makes the game look pretty bad. The motion tracking is good but pointless. I find myself using the sticks to adjust the camera more than head motion. Maybe if you strapped the system to your head it might be playable, but not as they had intended imo. It was pretty cool jumping from a high vantage point and gliding, looking around.

Just beat Gunman Clive 2. Really enjoyed these two games. I think I liked the second one better, but it had 2 crappy levels. Thought it's best levels were excellent. I can see myself playing these over again with the other characters with the NES controllers.

Did you guys see Nintendo added a Boost mode to the Switch? It now overclocks to 1.7 GHz. BOTW uses it only during load screens currently.

For each game I beat it on Normal as Clive, then went back and beat it on Hard as the girl, then started a game with the other character but didn't like playing as them and quit pretty early.

Who all is getting MARIO Maker 2? I'm not big in creating, but people make some pretty good levels, so I'm in

Things I'm hoping for:

- online 2 player multiplayer
- ability to download levels and play them offline (can't recall you doing this in the previous?)
- ability to see friend list levels
- ability to follow favorite creators

I don't particualarly like the sound of "Forza Street" However I have always liked Forza more than GT. So a portable Forza, I have to at least consider. Damn that's pretty cool though huh?

Wait, this game is just one that was previously released on PC called "Miami Street", they just reskined it as "Forza". Not a Microsoft 1st party game or a "core" Forza game.

You could, but it took a level slot. For some reason they limited you to like 120 levels downloaded or created rather than whatever your storage could handle.

I'm probably getting it, but would like to know more. I have no confidence they will improve the online to where I want it, but I hope they improve it a decent amount.

I'm not big on creation myself, but I will most likely pick this up to see other people's creativity at work. It should be really fun, especially on the go.

I'm definitely getting it. It's been my most wanted game for a while.

They've already shown off a ton of new content. At this point, I guess my main hopes are:

-More power-ups (in particular, hammer bro suit, tanooki suit, frog suit, and penguin suit)
-Improved level rating system
-Koopalings and/or other bosses
-Ability to save favorite levels. The best you could do in MM1 was view all of your starred levels, but it only saved a certain number and then would begin to un-star the oldest ones.

You could do this in MM1.

MM1 had this.

I assume he meant a way to easily see levels made by people on your friend list. In the first Super Mario Maker you couldn't do this through the game, you had to use the bookmark site and bookmark at least one level from each friend so you could then "follow" them in the game. It was super lame and I hope they have a better solution for the sequel because I have a feeling the majority of casual fans had no idea that bookmark site even exists.
