I absolutely love GoT the books and the show but I could see why people would find it boring.
I can play FPS, but it's really got to be co-op. I've actually never played through Halo solo but I've co-oped the entire franchise twice. I wouldn't want to do it online either, this is couch co-op with a friend. Playing with randoms does not interest me at all.

Cyberpunk 2077, The Outer Worlds may be interesting.
I kinda liked RAGE. Don't remember a whole lot, but I liked it.

IGN has had a ton of coverage over the past few weeks. They were doing special IGN exclusive interviews and gameplay previews, it seemed like a daily thing on the site. The gameplay looks like it's going to be fun with a lot of crazy weapons and some wild enemies.
I have had Rage on my shelf for several years. Never played it because of all the known bug issues. It just ended up sliding down the list of "play next" forever, even though I wanted to play it at some point.

Agreed. Looks fun. I want to play it, but I'll wait a while for patches/updates.
Has it come down to not wanting to be a $60 beta tester now? Quite depressing.
It was really a rhetorical question.
Got Days Gone after reading what @TalonJedi87 and @Dasgessabel said about it, and I am really enjoying the game so far. I've played around 10 hours, and my only complaint is the frame dips. Definitely drops below 30 fps semi-regularly for me on a slim ps4. It feels like a mish-mash of Sons of Anarchy, Uncharted, Last of Us, The Walking Dead, and Far Cry.

Yeah, it's a solid mix of a bunch of other games and such, and it has an interesting narrative. The only technical issue I've experienced are some frame dips periodically (ps4 pro here) - Archer said they got worse in the last portion of the game, but I haven't gotten there yet. Cool to see more people enjoying it, as it got sort of a lukewarm reception from critics. Honestly may be the first longer game like this I will have finished in quite a while.
I haven't ran into a horde yet, but how are people on the regular PS4 faring FPS wise when you encounter one? I already get dips below 30 fps pretty consistently when I'm approaching a camp or a large group of zombies, so I'm a little worried about how it's going to perform when I get to a horde.
also, this made me bust out laughing: https://www.reddit.com/r/DaysGone/comments/blh4u2/...
For anybody experiencing FPS drops/texture pop-ins in Days Gone, there are two things you can do that have helped me immensely. 1 - don't play the game out of rest mode, make sure you fully close it when you're done. 2- rebuild your ps4 database. Hold the power button on your PS4 and start in safe mode and select rebuild database.
I'm not in the 2nd half that is supposed to cause the largest frame drops yet, but this virtually eliminated them on the regular PS4 for me and I just got to Iron Mike's camp. Encountered my first horde with no drop in performance.
