I've never once desired a larger or smaller screen on the Switch. I think what we got on the standard is fine.

I used to love the size of the Switch and thought it was perfect. Then I held a Switch Lite and thought perhaps the regular Switch is a bit too large.

*shrug* Bigger isn't always better. Just saying there's more room for the Switch to grow.

I don't think it's silly at all to want a bigger screen.

I think the normal size Switch screen with joy cons on the go is ideal. Any bigger would be excessive, especially for transporting, but that's just me.

I'd like a bigger screen, maybe an inch..

I have issues reading texts on psp and vita, it get blurry when I try to read after 15 mins of gaming
Bigger size switch would be best solution for me since I can't rely on sounds

Finally, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe goes on sale! Kinda sad that I'm excited by a mere 20% off sale, but hey, Nintendo 1st party games rarely go on sale.

Waiting for a sale on Smash before going digital, just so much easier than swapping carts.

They're both on sale in a bundle for $23.09 on PSN, and it'd cost $35 to buy them (separately) on eShop, but I'd kinda rather play them on Switch. Should I just save the money and get it on PS4 instead?

Pokemon, the only game series that gets away with releasing a slight variant of the same game every year, while releasing 2 copies at the same price with minor differences. Imagine if EA or Activision did this.

The difference is each game is a complete game on it's own and you don't have to pay more to beat it.

Also this is the only game Nintendo does it with. Whereas every EA game is an ass rape.

They're also consistently well-received from the core fan base, which can't be said for the others.

There's a reason annual releases exist - because certain gamers do want a new installment of the games they enjoy each year. It's just that folks like EA/Activision don't release consistent quality products whereas it seems Nintendo/Pokemon do.

I feel you, I'm not a Pokemon or Madden guy myself. Just seems like with annual releases other than those 2 (and maybe FIFA), lots of folks get mad about the games they buy.

I think a lot of people just get mad in general as a lot of people are just plain unhappy...

To be fair, they can't win either. If they keep too much the same, it's stale. If they change too much, it used to be better, and they should change it back.

Fans in general are fickle and gamers are no exception.

I understand the need for DLC but $30 a pop for each expansion is steep to me. They might as well just have come out with a 3rd Pokemon game this generation at $60. I cannot imagine both expansions tallying the length of a full game. I mean if it does then that's fine, but I doubt it. And does anyone else find it shady that only a month or so ago Game Freak states they have no plans to add anymore Pokemon to Sword/Shield and now this? I'm not really buying the whole this was for the fans because of "backlash". Seems too convenient for me. I think they had this planned from the get.

Do people really like the GameCube controller?

For Smash and GCN games, sure. No reason not to.

I still feel weird when playing MP on anything but the original setup.

The GC controller is very underrated IMO. I bought one for my Switch and use it for games that allow.

GC controller was great. Very natural and not an ergo mess like the DS.

Yeah I mean at first glance the GC controller looks odd cause of the button placement and button size, but once you use it and feel it in your hands it's very comfy like how a Pro controller feels.
