Might as well get it started. Who's looking forward to it? I personally think that it could beat PS5, that is if they don't screw up. They need a basic UI, more first party titles, and focus only on gaming. They own the license to Rare games, we need to see new Conkers, Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, etc. They did alright with Killer Instinct, I'll give them that, but they're sitting on a lot of games that needs remade, remastered, and sequels.
As far as I know, it's slightly more powerful than the PS5, which isn't a big deal. But what is a big deal is that it will come with more storage. XBSX will have 1TB, which I admit, is not much by today's standards. The PS5 will have 825GB, which is ridiculous. I'm guessing that the next gen games will be around 100gb or more in size on average. If that is the case, I expect the discs will be on 4k UHD blu-rays.

Xenon Racer during the current sale. It's only $3 but is far more disappointing than I expected. AI is all over the place: you will get into 1st place within a couple corners but hit a wall or two and I finished 4th in several races in a row. Other races a single car will just jet off at double your speed and can't be catched...seems super buggy.
I've also chosen the 60fps Performance mode over the 30fps Quality and it plays great but the graphics take a decent hit.
Not a bad game but kinda dull and not as exciting as the youtube reviews I watched. I'd give it a 5/10 for now but it's not terrible. It's still $30 on Amazon so if you're interested/curious in trying it for $2.99:

Honestly, I kinda wished I had instead just gotten Split/Second (X360) for double the price.

Shadow of the TR with FPS Boost is amazing and totally worth it. It still looks gorgeous but plays really nicely. I recently got that again and it was well worth the price. There was 1 chase sequence where I had to change the
in-game Quality/Framerate setting to Quality to slow down the framerate and get my actions to register (I think FPS Boost had a bug for that sequence) but after getting through it I switched back to Framerate and all was well. It was just that a single rock-climbing chase towards the end of the game. Otherwise this kinda felt like a new XSX release, not an older game.

Yup, played it last night for a few hours. Mostly went back to places I lived during my childhood (we moved a lot every few years). It was a fantastic trip back to memory lane. Obviously went by my house as well lol. Also did some places in the US I had not visited.
This game is so damn beautiful. The joy of travelling to places you have never seen and might never get the opportunity to go is amazing. This game has put such a smile to my face since I booted it up last night. This right there is the GOTY for me. My opinion of course but I have a hard time seeing a game topping this for me this year.

28-Jul-2021(#88)I like how they made it easy for us non pilots to get into the game. The destinations area is great to just get a sense of how detailed the world is. I'm sure I'm losing some details by playing on the Series S, but it performs great.

29-Jul-2021(#89)Game Pass was too much of a temptation not to buy one, so I am back in the world of Xbox. My last console was an Xbox 360, so I have a lot of games to catch up on!
I got a Series S delivered today, and I'm already impressed by it. Can't wait to dive in and play some games!

Very trustworthy store. They're well known in the Photography and A/V circles as they offer some very high end (commercial grade) equipment. They just happen to also sell consumer products and can have some great deals too from time to time. I buy all kinds of stuff from them for my church's A/V needs.

Of course, you can always wipe SteamOS off of it and install Windows, so yes it would, but you might have to do some work.

The DLCs are just additional sections added to the game. They may look like they're on the map but when you enter them it loads you into a new level/world outside of main game map. The DLC is usually a new theme/area + all of the new cars used in that DLC can be used in the main game.
The FH3 Hot Wheels DLC was absolutely fantastic. But besides that I've never noticed microtransactions in FH3 or FH4. I know they're there but it's mostly just spending real money to get certain special cars or car sets (like a James Bond bundle of 007 cars). But with so many cars in the game I've never bought any or looked into it further.

Yes I've been told on reddit and youtube you can put windows or linux on it no problem. And really do anything a PC can do. It won't be straight outta the box, but I'm already planning my away from home PC gameplay on it, it sounds like it won't be hard. And Steam is being very open about it's "openness" heh.

I thought about getting it on Swtich, I mean I have the game on Xbox, Playstation and PC (though that was free via Epic)... But I have so many PC games that I want to play but can't right now due to lack of a capable PC. I love Supreme Commander 2 and to have that on the go... I am sold right there....
But to have the Ability to have Diablo 2 and 4 on the go!!! and to have the luxury and not sacrifice the people I play with on PC? damn. Also to have Starcraft 2 on the go hot damn I am stoked.
