League Overview:

Welcome to Year 5 of the GameTZ Fantasy Gaming League! This is basically fantasy football with games. Each person picks 10 games and those 10 games make up your "team" for the year. The Metacritic scores for your 10 games are tallied up at the end of the year to determine your total. Highest overall score wins. You also get 2 alternate picks (these should be safe choices) just in case one of your picks gets delayed into 2023. So if you shoot for the moon with a game like Final Fantasy XVI and it gets pushed into 2023 (because you know it will lol), one of your alternates takes its place and you don't end up with 0 points for that game. The goal is to pick games that you think have a very good chance of releasing in 2022. Don't YOLO your way into a bunch of 0s lol.

The Rules:
1. No DLC or Expansions
2. No Ports or Remasters (full remakes are allowed)
3. Alternate picks can only replace games delayed into 2023. They cannot be used to replace games in your top 10 that review poorly.

I don't think I'll ever get how anyone would play F1 Racing... Maybe it's I only tried an older game from PS1/PS2 era and didn't like it... and things have changed since??

The F1 games by Code Masters are pretty good. However, you really need to be an F1 fan or a racing fan to play them. As they are simulation games and not arcade games.

I think its good with what we have, no remasters but ground up remakes are fine.

FF7 isnt even a remake, its a new game. rebirth is def coming out march/april 24 at the very earliest so it shouldnt factor next year

That's disappointing for this, but I'm actually kind of relieved overall. I'm looking forward to Forspoken, and I'd rather they not rush it. Also, there is a ton of good stuff coming out in October. I already have Marvel's Midnight Suns pre-ordered, A Plague Tale: Requiem and Scorn on Game Pass to play, and I might pick up Gotham Knights as well.

I was just thinking, I thought Bayonetta 2 being announced two years before it finally released felt like a long wait, but Bayonetta 3 was officially announced in 2017...

On one hand I have high expectations for Bayonetta 3, but on the other I'm a little worried about its quality because they kept quiet on it for so long. The developers of No More Heroes III were the same way with that game between its announcement and its release, and once the game released you could see why, because it ran like crap. I know its budget was probably nowhere near as big as Bayonetta's though.

I'd have to guess the possibility of the following:

1. Limited sales
2. Not enough time to decide if it's worth getting (demos, trailers, etc.)
