new Thread Description
This thread was originally created to encourage traders here at GTZ to do more trading, especially retro related stuff. It has turned into a lot more and I am so grateful to everyone who contributed to this thread and have kept it going for nearly 6 months now. I hope this thread will continue to thrive and everyone who reads/participates in this thread will gain some value or knowledge out of it.

We will still have Trade lists up here, though it's been a while since anyone updated. I encourage everyone to look over their lists and post updates.
There is also a section for gorgeous pictures of game rooms that active participants of this thread have shared. Feel free to share some pics of your collection or game room.
I will be adding another section for information regarding video quality of retro gaming systems on modern displays and how to improve them.
There is rather some extensive discussion regarding how to improve the display quality of retro gaming systems and if you are new to this like I am, you will find it very informative.

Old Topic Description

GTZ has become a marketplace where the most commonly traded commodity is PayPal. I want to start an effort to get some trades going and to discuss some good games perhaps you never heard of or interested in but want to discover/know more of. For example, I just got intto shmups after years of ignoring the genre and I love to discover new(to me) and rediscover old ones(Sonic Wings comes to mind).

No pressure here. Feel free to discuss anything retro. Perhaps throw out some WTTF targets and what you have to offer. I am sick of browsing people's year old Available lists.

Some examples:

- WTTF/WTB/LF
- What you think is awesome game/series/whatever
- Potential games you have up for trade
- Pics of what you have/what you would love to get/what you think is the bestest awesomest game ever
- Show off your latest finds/adds to your collection

Right on. This strategy talk reminds me, I need to get the SRT games on PS4 that have English text.

250 was closer to the truth, 350's just fudging off. Considering condition and games included, I'd say valuing each at $10 would be generous.

Wasn't Icemanxp300 pretty active here? I just found that he's selling a bunch of overpriced Aliexpress repros on Ebay masquerading as legit games in "aftermarket boxes". The last time I heard about this guy was that he was weirdly on Tim Atwood's craplist. What a loser.

Yea agreed. $250 is just about a little higher than GTZ price prob. I know I sold a $300 bundle that was way better than this months ago.

He basically thought "I can prob get more money for this....right?" Cancelled, relisted at plus $100 and a Best Offer.

I do appreciate when older games have some type of a "save" feature. Doesn't have to be battery powered save, but a simple password or level select after you beat it)

I mean, sometimes I do enjoy replaying stages but ain't nobody got the time.

Wait what? I didn't even know you were trading one. Was it Japanese ps2? I think I need a european one for playing this Masters of the Universe ps2 import but I really don't know.

I suppose I should do some research, I hear the Internet has lots of information about different stuff. I keep wanting to see if there's any truth to that.

You could use a Wii U raspberry

Why is an upscaler not recommended? It outputs 480p, it's going to hit your TVs scaler anyway. Does it output a fudgey signal or what? I'm not a big enough GC fan to use a dedicated Gamecube anyway, Wii U is good enough.
