Thread Description This thread was originally created to encourage traders here at GTZ to do more trading, especially retro related stuff. It has turned into a lot more and I am so grateful to everyone who contributed to this thread and have kept it going for nearly 6 months now. I hope this thread will continue to thrive and everyone who reads/participates in this thread will gain some value or knowledge out of it.
We will still have Trade lists up here, though it's been a while since anyone updated. I encourage everyone to look over their lists and post updates. There is also a section for gorgeous pictures of game rooms that active participants of this thread have shared. Feel free to share some pics of your collection or game room. I will be adding another section for information regarding video quality of retro gaming systems on modern displays and how to improve them. There is rather some extensive discussion regarding how to improve the display quality of retro gaming systems and if you are new to this like I am, you will find it very informative.
Old Topic Description
GTZ has become a marketplace where the most commonly traded commodity is . I want to start an effort to get some trades going and to discuss some good games perhaps you never heard of or interested in but want to discover/know more of. For example, I just got intto shmups after years of ignoring the genre and I love to discover new(to me) and rediscover old ones(Sonic Wings comes to mind).
No pressure here. Feel free to discuss anything retro. Perhaps throw out some WTTF targets and what you have to offer. I am sick of browsing people's year old Available lists.
- WTTF/WTB/LF - What you think is awesome game/series/whatever - Potential games you have up for trade - Pics of what you have/what you would love to get/what you think is the bestest awesomest game ever - Show off your latest finds/adds to your collection
I don't think it's idiotic if you want what the NT does. It would be nice to just have one box handle everything natively, but the NT's definitely out of my range if I can get a pretty-good-but-not-as-good solution for less.
My OG Nt has problems running a couple random games (King of the Ring and Family Feud glitch out with text in a similar way, even run off a flash cart). I actually switched to the AVS for my primary NES even though I like the hi-def NES features more. Maybe I need to update it.

It was a mix of games and movies. 1 Blu-ray, DVDs, Until Dawn PS4, Mind Zero for Vita (substituted because he didn't want the Xbox One title), a blue gameboy pocket with matching blue camera, about 6 GB original games, Xbox 360 power supply unit, and more. $45 (included flat rate priority box).

As most of you know by now, I designed the PCB and wrote the software in the Analogue Nt mini. This is an FPGA NES/Famicom with HDMI and RGB/composite/s-video/component out. I have since released "jailbroken" firmware that allows you to run ALL of my FPGA cores to date. These are mostly 8-bit cores right now but it is possible I can do some light 16 bit cores in the future.
It currently supports the following:
NES/Famicom Sega Master System Game Gear Colecovision Gameboy Gameboy Color Atari 2600 Atari 7800 Supervision Gamate Game King Channel F Arcadia 2001 Creativision Adventure Vision Videobrain Odyssey^2 RCA Studio 2
The following are in the process of being ported:
Intellivision SPC Player
Unfortunately the mandelbrot zoomer cannot be ported due to a lack of multipliers.
@Gypsy The OSSC is on my workbench now waiting to have the Digital Audio upgrade added in. I'll probably hang onto it for now, although I've been pondering dumping my UltraHDMI NES. It's just hard to part with stuff, even if I have 3 ways to do the same thing, lol.
I play about half of those systems on my NT Mini, via ROMs of course. Every game I've tested works great and has no issues although I've nowhere near tried everything. It is nice to just fire it up for a quick round on some Game Gear games, they look gorgeous btw. The Gameboy stuff is pretty sweet too but I'm only doing those until my HDMI mod for the Cube arrives...if the dude ever finishes stalling on the development of the stupid thing.
Also there was talk of cartridge converters for all those systems as well but that may have been for his own FPGA console, the Zimba3k. I haven't followed the news much on this lately.
Man, I'm looking at The Cutting Room Floor and they really hate WD. Maybe if Popful Mails enemies weren't buffed 2-3x and healing item prices jacked through the roof, the game wouldn't be as much of a save/loadfest.
It'd have to be screen shots but the guy didn't totally lose it (yet anyway, maybe he was waiting for my counter to do so). I bought it at a junk store type thing (guess I can't really go back there now) and I can't link to the offers. Before I figured it out I had sent them a counter which I could not retract so I actually had to end and relist the item.
@DefaultGen Ha. And I mean it's not like I haggled, I paid the full asking price.
Late, i know, but I'll tell you what was in the box Sneak King for the 360 and a power brick Shrek 1 & 2 for GBA Video Some scooby doo game 3 imports, a Gundam RPG, Tamagatchi? and i don't even know the other Romstar bowling Chessmaster Tom and Jerry Turok 2 Spiderman 1 & 2 for the GBC Black label GTA San Andreas Lord of the rings the two towers Star wars battlefront Outlaw Golf Jak X Dredd blu ray A gb pocket with camera Until Dawn Sim city 2000 Hotshots Golf Combat Cars Mind zero and a bunch of movies and some random anime, Jackie chan movies and, i think a bootleg big trouble in little china.
> @Gypsy What the heck did you buy with mono sound? What year is it?
Production grade VCRs. 80something. The picture quality on it is fantastic, pretty much gated by the tape you put in of course, but I just can't deal with mono sound. One of them even has an EIAJ 8-pin connector so you know it means business.

Yeah I noticed that too it's so weird. But I would prefer it og Xbox. Speaking of which they have Japanese copies of fatal frame Zero and fatal frame 2 for way higher on Xbox than the American fatal frames. Fatal frame Zero is a collectors edition though. Does anyone know what's better or different for these Japanese versions on Xbox?
Just means the company agreed to another reprint/shipment if necessary, which is super cool. They can't list it as a primary choice when it's out of stock, that's generally how they handle temporary OOS items. They pick whoever pays them more to feature on the front page and hide their listing in the new/used listings.
Been in Phoenix on business this week and have been going back and forth with a seller on a nice 3DO lot. We talked 3 months ago and were too far apart on price. I finally told him that I was done negotiating. We settled on $140 for his boxed FZ-1 (the $699 release, which is the hardest to find in box), a boxed Panasonic controller, 2 loose controllers, Samurai Showdown (complete), Need for Speed (complete), Slam & Jam (compete), Slammin (complete) and two loose demos (one contains the data manager for the FZ-1) and Madden, disc only. Not a bad haul

Can you post the listings you're talking about? The Xbox versions iirc have slightly better graphics and extra costumes (bikinis) but I can't remember if they were censored on Xbox. I don't think they were maybe just Nintendo censored those.

$19 in 08 for me. I'd like to get a copy in better condition though. Pretty sure my map is in ~fair condition. Waiting for a cheapish copy to be listed.
In my fantasy world Vay is a $25 game tops. Ideally like $10 if we are comparing to more modern systems. I get that at this point it's more about its collectible value and not value as a game, which is kinda sad.
@Lunar Hate is probably a strong word, though certainly I hate that it's $100+ with the map in vg condition. For the game itself it's like...a general apathy. It's a by the numbers played straight boring JRPG, even with WD adding in their own little touches. I could tell the game creators didn't even really care about the game, so it's hard for me to care either. Actually I recall Vic saying it was a foot in the door/relationship builder release but I don't recall what all it led to.
I would say its $75-80 with map in vg. But guide adds another $25-30.
I think its a fine game on its own(from the amount of time i played), this game falls into the Beyond the Beyond category for me. It isn't polished like Lunar/Wild Arms but its still a decent game, probably alot worse in retrospect.

Oh I didn't see you were including the guide. That's a much better deal, I should have known better though. ^_^
Actually, that's a pretty solid thought on it. It's just...super average/generic. Exactly like Beyond the Beyond in that respect lol. It's hard to remember anything about it years after playing it. Compare to Lunar where I remember ALL the main characters.
> That vp20/vp30 card sold for as much as I paid for the VP20! ($150)

I'm still wondering what happened here. My best guess is the buyer of the 30 didn't want the add-on card and bought the 30 for a bit less.
But man, value on these has pretty much entrenched. I paid $311 for a 30 w/ card in early 2013 (humorously I paid way less for my 50pro recently). I felt kinda meh at the time but justified it because I knew I'd be watching a lot of movies with it too, and it was really good for that. I put a crap ton of hours on it before I got my 50pro. Enough to wear out the power supply, lol. But I guess it wasn't even a bad deal.
I've intentionally held off on a few eBay purchases totalling approximately USD $75.00 in the hopes that another flash sale would be imminent. But, alas, my online shopping cart still runneth over. Does anyone have an educated guess on when the next eBay flash sale will be?
I got the https://www.amazon.com/Oddities-Homebrew-Revolutio..." title="www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=https://www.amazon.com/Oddities-Homebrew-Revolutio... (secure)">NES Oddities book from Kickstarter and it seems pretty good. It's no Ultimate NES, but it's a cool reference of things like homebrew (even LEs and digital-only), English-playable Famicom and FDS games, PAL exclusives, etc. If nothing else, it's probably the most comprehensive list of playable NES games that aren't the 677 US licensed ones up through 2017.
And fatal frame 2 the American version is starting at 16.99 meaning the Japanese version starts at 10 times the price on Amazon like seriously? It's usually the other way around for Japanese imports at least on every other system.
Also those girls are supposed to be young teens in this game why on earth would they need to be in bikinis to fight murderous ghosts? Not that I'm condoning any 18 plus women "needing" to be scantily clad for an already mature violent horror game but c'mon these girls might even be preteen which makes this beyond normal Japanese pervy and I know it's just a game but that's kinda gross.
Don't get me wrong I love fatal frame 2 but I'm just not seeing bikinis being relevant to this story. Man now I wanna hook up my xbox and play it 😞 It's such a creepy scary game!!! 😍

That looks really cool, it's unfortunate I just linked to an Amazon listing with none available 😞 That would have been a really cool book to read through.
Does this book make any mention of the Friday the 13th (clone game essentially with Freddy as your protagonist) Freddy vs Jason game?
I loved the original Friday the 13th and was seriously considering a brand new copy of this one from Amazon. Like I know it's gimmicky as hell but I like stuff that most people don't so I figure it's worth the 50 bucks for a totally weird game, but if it's terrible I would also want a heads up on that too.

I literally got the book from Kickstarter yesterday and they had a pallet of them at a recent show I was at. I'm sure he's doing whatever he can to allow more people to give him $$$, he's just getting ramped up.
Not sure about the Freddy vs. Jason hack, but I don't think pirates, hacks, or translations are covered because there's so much bullcrap out there.
And maybe I'm an idiot or whatever but that just looks so effin cool!!! Idk why I thought it came with an instruction book but I guess I can live without one. But how cool would it be if it had a custom dust sleeve that was like the Nintendo red logo but instead on Nintendo it said Freddy on one side and Jason on the other?!?
That would be the highlight of my week at this point lol.
> Might be looking to off load my TG-16 and Saturn. Let me know if anyone is looking

How much were you wanting for each? And what do either system come with?
I can find decent Saturn games all day if I'm trying but tg 16? I would want to have at least one or two game cards (preferably complete but whatevs) and each one would have to have at least one working controller and power plus rf or whatever they originally came with.
I'm not saying I'm flush with money right now but I got lots of crap not being played. Or I could pay you more next month for a hamburger today ..... Ugh now I want a burger and I'm currently vegetarian 😞
Let me know, hell actually just post what the systems come with here! I bet I'm not the only one who checks this thread for great games and systems to trade for.
i Decided to keep the TG-16 but the Saturn is a US model 2 with 2 controllers and the pseudo Saturn card. I have a Scart adapter and a AV adapter for it. The back port cover is missing. I main want to trade it for Nintendo Switch stuff or TG-16 games.
No kidding. Looking at the pics, I'dve guessed it to be a real set. But the devil was in the details with it being an "international" version. I'd also suspect the one you'd get does not look like said pics...

I had someone do something similar with a like new used backpack (that I can take my PS4 slim in) I was trying to order on Amazon. They cancelled my order because it was "damaged in their warehouse". They relisted it immediately with higher shipping. So, I found different and I think better backpack which I'm happy with since I can use it for way more things. And, Last I checked their bag was still there and Amazon beat their price with a new one.
I mean...it kinda does. It depends on what you are plugging it into too. I kinda want to get a Genesis cable just to compare with rgb over scart on PVM.
> Maybe the shot's bad, but whatever. I meant compared to SNES or Genesis, which look
> incredibly blurry and jitters like crazy.
PCE/Turbob composite is tons better than Genesis or SNES. On basically any PCE system too. It's especially favourable if you compare to worse Genny/SNES units. I actually haven't bothered having my Duo R modded yet because composite doesn't bother me on it. I'm playing on a PVM though, if I were playing on an LCD tv I'd for sure have modded it already. Still, like you said, it's better.

Well at least there was a reason to it. This seller allegedly has multiple copies and just left the listing up at the same price. Thankfully due to price robots there was another listing of what I want for the same price. If that doesn't work though, I'm going to have to pay $5 more for used instead of new but I mean...I will do it...
There is actually a seller with a new copy of what I want on eBay for slightly less than the Amazon used listings but it's from a seller I refuse to support. Hopefully this current order from the Amazon marketplace works out.
Ah, the kids in the Obey facebook group always used to make meme posts with super-stretched images whenever someone posted a pic proudly with it stretched widescreen. But now people just take pictures of their PCE Works repros (not playing them, just ...pictures). Dark days.
@Missile You need something that accepts the signal, and very likely another cable unless what you are plugging it into accepts scart. A pvm, a compatible plasma tv (lots of them are RGB sync on G, but you have to change the colorspace in the menu), a transcoder or a standalone processor are all options.
Hey everyone, I know I wrote a text only post a few weeks back about getting my 32x and games up for trade and talked to a few people. I haven't traded off anything yet so I thought I'd actively post a clear list and picture if anyone is curious or interested.
@Lunar ... curious if it might be helpful to add some Retro Resources to the current post? Specifically around game lists (because I find myself using these over and over again), and everyone might be able to benefit from that?
> That vp20/vp30 card sold for as much as I paid for the VP20! ($150)

> @Lunar @ErickRPG
No, honestly I am already happy with the image VP30 gives me I really don't feel like investing in the card. Mainly because I have an OSSC on the way. So I'll have a VP30 for a few systems on a smaller TV, and an OSSC for a few systems on a larger TV. I'm more than happy with what I have (or will have soon).
Seriously though for a little more than $150, you get a HDMI switch box, RGB capable machine, and 2 extra S-Video connections. All the while you have access to RGB for almost every system for about $10-$20 for a decent SCART cable.

I'd say it depends what you pay for it. A 20 w/o the card isn't that much more than an HD+ in terms of performance. I paid $70 shipped for the one that ended up going to @Lunar around the time I picked up a 50pro. I'd say that's a solid price. They are solid units that aren't going to blow you away. Jack of all trades. Now the 50pro, that is great for sd movie content. I love the 50pro, use it every damn day. The only way I'd retire it is when I get a 4k Lumagen processor. The last regular 50 went for $340 after shipping at auction though, so I dread to think what a pro would end for. Then again there seems to be high variance with these. They aren't always up for sale so how desperate does one get when a unit comes up. That lot of Duos was sweet af. If I didn't have a 50pro I'd have been all over getting one of those.
Fundraising after the fact, fun! Pandora's Tower - $20 Yakuza 3 sealed - $30 Yakuza 4 cib - $20 Yakuza dead souls sealed - $10 God eater 2 resurrection, think the DLC code hasn't been used - $25 Ninja Spirit - $55 Digimon Story Cyber Sleuths no DLC - $35 Tales of Graces f sealed - $20 Castle of Shikigami III - $35 Golgo 13 the complete Series - $50
@Lunar The HD+ is still a solid unit, it's just a lot cheaper and if you never intend to source the upgrade card it's very similar. That was my main point there. Both are going to improve the experience, if only by enabling RGB. Both, as you would expect for units that retailed at $1500 and $1700, old they may be now, will obliterate the performance of cheap China boxes. @DiamondDave has been emulating for who knows how long and seems like a smart guy so I'm sure he has them fairly optimized. So he is coming from a different place on it.
>> Will the combined powers of pvm and gameshark be enough for me to finish Thousand

PS4 was acting up again, albeit with pretty warm room temps so I'm waiting until it gets cooler to finish Yakuza 0. Something is wrong with my AC unit, then I found out there was a class action lawsuit against the company that made it....fantastic.... It's at least mostly functioning, but combined with the poor venting to my bedroom* is bad news.
*fun fact: When I was getting my duct work cleaned out awhile back someone at least finally explained the issue with why that room isn't heated/cooled properly. However no one wants to fix it. I called multiple places and the general response I get is that there isn't enough money in the job. Business must be pretty fudging good I guess. /end rant
This PVM is nice and in great condition, but I'm not compelled to go out and try to acquire more at current rates. When it dies I'll be completely fine either playing on a vga crt monitor or using upscalers on an lcd screen. If I luck into another I'd buy it but that seems unlikely.
@PlayYing Definitely. That appears to be a regular Edge too, and not an Edge Green which would be a big plus. Also if you still watch VHS, LD and DVD, either is a fine choice that you will get even more use out of.
> My set up has become a mess again. One of these days, I will just give in and admit
> internally that I thrive on chaos and stop cleaning up
Actually I did some much needed cleaning last night. Reshelved a bunch of Saturn and PCE games. Twas overdue.
Right now I only have my Saturn and PCE hooked to the PVM. I had a Segatron out but put it away to watch some VHS and LD. I really need to replace my current console station with something similar to what friction has. I could probably have everything out in that case. Kinda funny I wouldn't be putting any tvs/displays on a tv stand...

I got multiples of both Oddworld releases. I'm too nice though, so I gave one Stranger's Wrath at cost to a friend (they are keeping it at least and opened it) and traded the blue cover variant to someone that missed out at well under eBay.
They should set the limit down to 1 for the second wave. I suppose there is always PA if I miss out.
Beat Kamiko for the 3rd time and likely the last time.
Third playable girl has a Captain America-like shield, except, the shield doesn't give you defense at all(actually I never tried, hmmm)
It's super powerful(kills any enemy when thrown and hit), her special is way too powerful too.
Final thoughts: with the exception of the swordswoman, the archer and shield+dagger girls were not sufficiently playtested since they were wayyyy overpowered. Could have easily had more levels with some variance, but developers thought it's ok to have 4 levels and have them have the EXACT same format.
But for only $4.99, I guess it's somewhat acceptable for an average experience. I am a sucker for sprite graphics and good retro music.
So since I had to look into it I feel like sharing. There is no perfect version of the original Macross on dvd in the US. Robotech is well Robotech, so that's out. The ADV release has terrible Japanese audio and um, as for the dub: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ax8p_0PpjIs plus there is the whole muuhhhhhcross thing. The best you can do is pretty much the Animeigo release which has great Japanese audio and subtitles, no dub which...is fine because there is no good dub. The issue is that they are dvd-5s and the material on the inner ring is weak so they are prone to cracking if you aren't careful.
I went with the Animeigo dvds. Pretty easy choice, even with the cracking issue.
And as bad as Robotech treats Macross, it really makes you think Genesis Climber Mospeada is bad. But really it's entirely different in Japanese, and much better. Southern Cross is bad in any form though.
Okay. I'm now done talking about old mecha that no one else here cares about.
I couldn't get into Robotech or Macross or Evangelion. That was years ago though. I missed the whole Gundam Wing and Seed eras and the last Gundam i saw was 00(liked it quite a bit), got one of the newer releases recently but haven't watched it yet.
> That's actually where most of my interest in this last trade was, wanted to have

Am I the only one who doesn't care about Smash? It's got a horrible fighting engine. I'm all for beloved Nintendo characters in a brawl but gosh darn it, why is it that everyone can triple jump and float?
I think Nintendo should work with Capcom, SNK, Namco or Arc System Works and make a decent fighter plz.
Original Macross is major for me. It was the first anime I watched that blew me away and made me think oh crap anime can be something more. I still like plenty of comedy anime and stuff like that as well though.
@Lunar I would recommend at least torrenting DYRL (baka should have a bd rip with eng soft subs up still) and at least give that a go. It's basically a 2 hour version of the show and is fantastic.
>> Switch is the best thing to happen to shmups since Steam. Maybe better since

> ✋ Stop the LCD simulated scanlines

> I've just been waiting for Mario.
Mario is tempting me in getting one but I'm waiting to see if they will release a version 2 or XL variety though that most likely will be awhile. I also wanted to see what other games they will release. Was hoping they would make one in the future that addresses some of the issues some people had with it (like location of the charging port) and maybe make the joy con controls bigger. I'm patient enough to wait.
Probably not on the top of the list for them(much like the Wii to Wii U transition) but i am patiently waiting for them to have a program to convert Wii U virtual console games you own to Switch(prob a fee of $2-3 each game)
Probably not on their list at all. They can make $40-60 per release by simply porting it. And I gotta tell you, if they re-released Mario + Luigi U, Mario Maker or Mario 3D World on Switch at $60 a pop, I'd probably pick up all of 'em.
Anyone here interested in a Japanese PS2? I have a lil pile of shooters for it too, and good ones. The system itself could use a new laser and I even bought a replacement laser that I would include with a sale for free.
So the bundle would be Japanese fat PS2 reads dvd games 100%, cd games are iffy power cord, composite cable, ps1 controller, replacement laser
"Phantasy Star 0 (ファンタジースターZERO Fantashī Sutā Jiarō), also known in Australia and Europe as Phantasy Star: ZERO and sometimes in North America as Phantasy Star Ø, is a Nintendo DS game in the Phantasy Star series, developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega. The game was released in Japan on December 25, 2008 and in North America on November 10, 2009, and has been released in Europe on February 12, 2010. Though the official US release date was the 10th, the game was not available in stores until November 11, 2009. The official website incorrectly lists the release date as November 12, 2009, because SEGA could not guarantee the game would be available nationwide the day before. The game expands on the gameplay mechanics of Phantasy Star Online, partly by borrowing some elements from fellow online Phantasy Star title Phantasy Star Universe, such as a fully realized story mode for offline play."

That standard bundle was $39.99 this morning, I did a double take when ordering my Wonderboy Collector's Edition. Those extra seconds killed me as when I made my place in line with check out (1.5 minutes after 9am) the collector's edition was sold out. I just closed the window and didn't order jack. First time I've ever not gotten an order to go through on an LRG item. I'll try again tonight but I'm not hopeful.
That actually made me lol, out loud. I'm going outside to play with the kids, wallow in self pity for a while and worry that my back log of hundreds of games isn't getting larger because I just wasn't fast enough this time.
I am the worst at figuring out which LRG games are flippable. I figured Wonderboy is already on sale at Play-Asia and it's cheaper but everywhere people are crying they couldn't get a copy. I had 2 in my cart and backed out of checkout because I didn't really care enough to buy it.

You should have went for it anyways even if not to flip but to trade for something you really want here.
Most of the time people go nuts over any Lrg releases as long as they are still sealed. I personally like the idea of a very rare physical release. I miss my xeodrifter on vita 😊 But it went to a good home.
Trading it for something I really want isn't really different from flipping. I wish I kept my $25 shipped preorder from PA for Ys Origin because LRG is always more expensive. I wish I bought more stuff during that free shipping and -$5 promo.
Edit: Looks like PA's wonderboy doesn't have a manual. Alright kind of wish I ordered one from LRG now. I hope they do a manual for Ys Origin.
I don't see it as flipping, because flipping is strictly for profit, if I'm not mistaken anyways.
This is more like trading it to someone who really wants it for something they already have and really actually, doing them a favor.
Speaking of Lrg @Porksta has a sealed ps4 copy of The Swindle starting at 15 bucks in his auction in general marketplace. I'm assuming it hasn't been bid upon yet because people are planning on sniping it at right around 15 dollars. I'm still debating driving the price up before that happens but I haven't yet.
That doesn't make sense. If I sell Wonderboy for $50 or trade it for a $50 game it's still costing them $50. And if they're buying it from me then presumably they really want it and I'm still doing them a favor.

How much was it in your cart? Even if you only make 10 bucks on the deal you're still doing them a huge favor yes, and if it's a game they are trading you that they already spent money on before maybe they didn't have the money already to buy the lrg game outright, so yes that's an even bigger favor if you trade them that game when they don't have the funds.
> VGA for Dreamcast is so good. Playing Crazy Taxi and it feels like I'm at a damn
Most of the time when you guys talk about your setups I'm like whatevs this though gave me some jealousy issues, does crazy taxi 2 also work with that setup? I only ask since cinnamon is my favorite crazy taxi character and I think I just prefer crazy taxi 2 anyways.
If you use that you can just use ypbpr cables you already have. I'm sure he will have more up later. Something like that does not work if you want to play CD games, then you have no choice but to mod, but you just mentioned a Core Grafx so that can suit your needs. There will be more in stock, no idea when.
I did order a spare regular edition of Wonder Boy from LRG if someone does decide they want it. I've been buying an extra of pretty much all their releases lately; if anyone here needs a semi-recent release, feel free to ask me.
Yeah should be cheap. But like I said I have a Hanzo and none of my DVDOs like it (but my IA-100 takes it just fine). I talked to rubber dildos (tobiasssss) about it before and it's something with the spec.
> @Gypsy What size pvm do you have? I'm getting a 14l2 this coming week.
Sony PVM 14M4U 800 line count.
L2 supports expansion cards right? Don't think it is one of the ones that can do 480p. I know 20L5s are commanding INSANE prices now. I was hinting at it earlier but I do think they are a little overblown compared to good VGA crt monitors. It's a different look though, and pvms are more plug and play. But at the same time it's not like I'm looking to sell my pvm either so yeah.

Negative no card expansion. Florida is a 👻 town for games as well as good equipment. Although I'm getting the 14l2 at a fair price. I have a s video 14 in with bad screen in burn and two 8 in ones that are just going to be used for monitoring (bless the extron crosspoint)
I'm interested in cotton 2 , but I'm on a spending freeze for now.

I paid a far bit for mine, but it is RGB/comp capable and in pristine shape (not that the casing matters but it doesn't even really have scuffs, zero issues with the picture). I tried to get the guy down on the price initially but he started with like 6 of them (including two 20'') and this was the last one left so I didn't have much leverage to work with.
As for Cotton 2 is you want it for sure and pm me an idea on payment time frame, we can probably work something out.

I traded too soon! Lol.
@Dashey I know you got it sorted but I've definitely had issues with eBay before. Last time I started listing stuff it took like 10 minutes for a VCR I listed to show up.
> Lol eBay shenanigans. Seller canceled a sealed PC game I got for $5. Out of stock
> or damaged. Riiiight.
As an eBay buyer, can negative feedback be given to an eBay seller who dubiously cancels the transaction of a successfully completed eBay auction? As much as I personally hate to harm an eBay seller's rating, there seems to be little other recourse in a situation like this. Also, can the eBay seller retaliate with similar negative feedback once negative feedback has already been left by the eBay buyer? I know that used to be a thing; but, eBay may have since changed their policy.
> @Noid I went to leave negative feedback, and could not.
So, as an eBay seller who's auction's ended at less than the desired price, the simplest solution is to just flat-out cancel the sale, huh?! This way, the eBay seller's insulated from any recourse by the potential eBay buyer. Plus, the eBay seller can just so happen to find a similar item to be re-listed in place of the original one that was undoubtedly damaged, lost, etc. Wow, what a racket!
This is kind of more ridiculous, because they listed it as a $5 BIN.
I have had experiences like what you described though. I once had a seller after the auction ended low, try to squeeze more money out of me. He wanted me to send more money OUTSIDE of eBay. Wasn't happening of course, so he cancelled. This was years ago when I won a DVDO Iscan HD+ for $16 shipping included, lol.
Probably, it's certainly why they wanted more money. I just refused to do it outside of eBay. Like I was okay with them sending me an eBay invoice to cover shipping cost. They would not do it. This was some years ago too so shipping rates weren't as bad.
While I'm not really a fan of selling, trading is very slow for me with my super small wantlist these days. Figured I'd see if anyone was interested in a few NES games of varying condition and completeness. Nothing super exciting, just trying to thin out the duplicates a bit.
Pics of all my games can be found in the spreadsheet linked on my bio page.

Thanks @Gypsy I didn't really do much research on the prices so I hope they are fair, if not, I'm certainly open to working with anyone who might be interested in something. Wanted to offer these up here first, I'll probably do more systems later leaving out the commons next time.
>> @Noid I went to leave negative feedback, and could not.
> I think it depends. Remember that guy who cried because I left him neutral feedback
> on an order he wordlessly cancelled?
Interesting. I certainly want to leave feedback on this so I suppose I will keep checking back. It appears under cancelled/returned items on my buy page. I can dispute it, but I don't see the point in that at all.
I'm checking here for my buddy. He's got a clean copy or Aero Fighters for SNES, and he's looking to exchange it for some high value Gamecube or Dreamcast games (he collects mostly gen 6 but came across this one as part of a lot of high value titles he bought). I told him to just make an account, but he doesn't want to send first, so I told him I'd check with you guys. He's just expanding into GC/DC after completing his PS2/XBOX collections, so he's not looking for any titles in particular. He just said no commons/fillers.
If anyone's interested and has the games to trade, I'll ask him to take some pictures, but it looked pretty clean to me, and he verified the board.
Also anyone have interest in a Commodore 1702 monitor and Tandy CM-11 monitor? Saw them at a thrift store both in excellent condition for $75 each, but I am a regular here and can probably get the prices down to $40 or so each if I talk to the owner. Would want some money for my time but I'm surprised to see these in such good condition, let me know if interested.
>> Damn, a thrift store asking $75 for a monitor. 2017 bitcccches. Nice monitor for
>> sure, but shipping would suck and composite.
> S-video jerk!
Lol which one? Admittedly I didn't look into them too deeply.
eBay prices on those appear to be pretty derp. Unless you want to actually use a really old computer I don't see a huge point. When it comes to gen 3 or 4 consoles, I'd take any random CRT monitor with a DE-15 connector and a line doubler. I've been using a random ass Compaq for Dreamcast and some other stuff lately and it looks really good for that. The Lacie I picked up awhile back is excellent but for 640x480 VGA, it doesn't matter enough for me to want to put more hours onto it.
first came the , then the bomb, then the straight fire... and so it continues... I am realigning my collecting and stuff is next. first chances to this group before adding to my forum sale. (still have other stuff available, its on my list)
Baten Kaitos Origins (discs immaculate, manual has been wet at the bottom at some point in its life, cover is still good, pages have a "staining" at the bottom, not terrible and some pages have very little, can get pics) Baten Kaitos Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean Evolution Worlds Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Fire Emblem Path of Radiance (no manual) (have some interest already in this one, shocker lol) Skies of Arcadia Legends
MS Saga a New Dawn is the last of the bigger harder to find ones I need for my ps2 list, so would be extremely interested in trading for that on the off chance someone has one sitting around
I'm full up cib copies as well as guides again. Last time I had that full combo I traded it to @Rune_Walsh for some crapty Saturn game iirc. I actually played through them again this year as part of the beat a game for every system challenge happening here.
Wasn't Icemanxp300 pretty active here? I just found that he's selling a bunch of overpriced Aliexpress repros on Ebay masquerading as legit games in "aftermarket boxes". The last time I heard about this guy was that he was weirdly on Tim Atwood's craplist. What a loser.
> Never heard of this cable. I always thought there isn't an alternative...hmmmm
You could use a Wii U
Why is an upscaler not recommended? It outputs 480p, it's going to hit your TVs scaler anyway. Does it output a fudgey signal or what? I'm not a big enough GC fan to use a dedicated Gamecube anyway, Wii U is good enough.
