new Thread Description
This thread was originally created to encourage traders here at GTZ to do more trading, especially retro related stuff. It has turned into a lot more and I am so grateful to everyone who contributed to this thread and have kept it going for nearly 6 months now. I hope this thread will continue to thrive and everyone who reads/participates in this thread will gain some value or knowledge out of it.

We will still have Trade lists up here, though it's been a while since anyone updated. I encourage everyone to look over their lists and post updates.
There is also a section for gorgeous pictures of game rooms that active participants of this thread have shared. Feel free to share some pics of your collection or game room.
I will be adding another section for information regarding video quality of retro gaming systems on modern displays and how to improve them.
There is rather some extensive discussion regarding how to improve the display quality of retro gaming systems and if you are new to this like I am, you will find it very informative.

Old Topic Description

GTZ has become a marketplace where the most commonly traded commodity is brand:::PayPal. I want to start an effort to get some trades going and to discuss some good games perhaps you never heard of or interested in but want to discover/know more of. For example, I just got intto shmups after years of ignoring the genre and I love to discover new(to me) and rediscover old ones(Sonic Wings comes to mind).

No pressure here. Feel free to discuss anything retro. Perhaps throw out some WTTF targets and what you have to offer. I am sick of browsing people's year old Available lists.

Some examples:

- WTTF/WTB/LF
- What you think is awesome game/series/whatever
- Potential games you have up for trade
- Pics of what you have/what you would love to get/what you think is the bestest awesomest game ever
- Show off your latest finds/adds to your collection

Even though I shouldn't I would love a sit arcade racer here that would be cool or possibly one of those fully enclosed shooters like the lost world Jurassic park. But I would also play dance dance revolution or Mortal Kombat 2 or 4 if I could get one of those also.

What is your gaming pet peeve?

Something just happened that made me think of at least one of mine. Long epilogue endings to RPGs. I am playing one right now. Dragon Quest VII. After I beat the boss I want to see a beautiful ending, even if it's 10 minutes long, fine that's ok. I just don't want to have to walk around after I beat the boss. SHOW me the ending, don't make me play it.

Nah. You can stream video to your PC which could then stream to a TV kinda? But it'd be laggy and obnoxious. And you'd only get one screen. And it requires hard/soft mod.

Plus the resolution would be *SUPER* unflattering. It'd be like trying to play Smash Wii U with an eighth of the pixels. Probably significantly less actually lol

If it's not 16:9 retro games and people who say Little Sampson, it's times I'm not playing a game. Any cut scene, dialogue, menu, open world, tutorial, or other BS that doesn't need to be in a game and just wastes my time. Those things aren't always bad of course but if I'm playing a racing game and it has an open world and cut scenes, I want to die.

Neo Geo cabaret is the most adorable thing. If you pass on 3rd strike and it's on the East coast let me know. My friend might want one.

Okay so any specifics about the neo geo one would help otherwise I would say get that play choice 10 and tell us any games that already come with either one please.

But if neither one comes with any built in games I say SF3 for sure. I didn't get to play it a ton in the arcade and I know I played it somewhere else too but Ken and Ryu look pretty good in that game and I always wanted to get better with Elena because she seemed like a fun character.

Man now I actually wanna play street fighter 3 again lol.

Also any links to all of these would be pretty cool. We would NOT try to steal these from you feel free to share.

Iirc there us a pseudo Everdrive like device for the PC10. The thing with that one is the power supply is borked and replacing it will be hella expensive, think like what these eBay people want for the snes mini big.

For Naomi I think there is a suicide switch, but a simple fix.The possibility of having a net dimm to load any Naomi game you want is tempting, can anyone say Jambo safari motherfudgers?

I know for sure that the cps2 system has a kill switch but that is the nicest out of the bunch. Original can, with marquee and super nice.

The play choice 10 is an original conversion and as mentioned needs a replacement power supply, will have to get the games list from the owner. Other than that it's a two screen full size arcade with the zapper attachment, is a beast size wise.

The mvc2 cab looks like a conversation but does have the original controls panel. As mentioned best possibility at getting the whole Naomi library with the net dimm. However it's library has so much in common with the Dreamcast.

The third strike cab is a thing of beauty. Original big blue with a raised area for the marquee. Also helps that Third strike is one of my favorite games ever, a gentlemen's game. @DefaultGen I'll have to get you pictures it's the best looking out of the bunch. System wise it's the most unique with the cps2 games there least common with it's console counterparts (Red Earth?)

The neo geo cabaret cab is probally the most well known. I heard from some podcast that the AES is the most expensive system to collect for. The MVS that the arcades are based off of is somewhat cheaper. The cab itself is in really good condition , looks like a 14 in CRT in there and frankly is the most wife friendly, but damn those controller are close together.

BleedingViolet
GameTZ Subscriber Gold Good Trader
4-Oct(#48)
After hearing all that I would say that play choice 10 is maybe the least convenient most expensive but with Zappers already there? THATS the one you want right there especially if there's two zappers you could (hopefully if your wife likes gaming at all) play fun co op games with your wife. That's one of the best things in the world I used to love gaming with my significant others. Pretty much that's living the dream 😍

But yeah if the neo geo is the smallest that might be good for space constraints.

And like you said about that street fighter cabinet, if you'd be proud to own it hell thats probably the one right there, no muss no fuss and your favorite fighting game plus original street fighter button layouts in the arcade always just feel right somehow so I don't see how you could go wrong with any of them. Make sure you test them out if you can for as long as you can. That should tell you right there which one belongs to you. Good luck sir and I hope you get a perfect machine 😊

I really love my OSSC. I've been fiddling around with line doubling and scanlines. I got it up to line x4 on PS1 and I went back and forth from 3x to 4x and I did notice a difference in 4x. It def appeared sharper and I think I really like it. And this is on a 65" screen mind you. I think the line doubler, tripler, etc. . is what makes the big difference from iscan and OSSC. I kinda hate to play my N64 via s-video on my 40" now because it's not got the benefit of a line quadrupler lol. Oh, and I finally got my Dreamcast hooked up to something via VGA. Looks great!

Couldn't be happier. Since we do have a few upscale curious people in this thread, OSSC is a def step up from iscan, worth the money over iscans. Heck in some cases as @Lunar and @Gypsy will tell you, it's actually cheaper than the high end iscans.

First off, I'm sorry about what happened earlier. Some really dumb assumptions were made and I got mad because I thought I was getting blown off. I'm the kind of person who likes to talk things through on a trade and make sure things are more or less worked out before I even send an offer. I didn't like being mocked by the peanut gallery, and I'm not going to demand the console in question sent to me. I just wanted an explanation.

That said, re: Song of the Deep, some games don't get the love they deserve during their first life *cough*Okami*cough*, so they become cult classics. The best thing we can do for those games is to love them and share them with our friends.

I read the big knock was tv support, I assume you have no issue with yours. What was your setup workflow before the ossc?

Setup workflow? Not sure exactly what that means. On THAT tv, nothing. Just the 360 hooked via HDMI because the iscan was not able to display the upscaled images. Downstairs I have a working iscan with RGB and s-video inputs.

Upstairs I have tested PS2, PS1, and SNES all with RGB. And Dreamcast with VGA, all display wonderfullly. Supposedly s-video will work if you buy an adaptor which I might try at some point. The only input I have left to test is component, I have an xbox for that. It will be interesting to see how it upscales XBOX.

16:9 stretching of old games is my new trigger.

Games that hammer you with a tutorial in the main game suck, games where you can't skip that are the farking worst. I'm not 2 years old, I can read the controls section of a manual and I can also just figure out game mechanics.

Some of my own pet peeves...

Modern games: Install, patch, update on new console games. I always knew what I was signing up for with PC. Literally the only reason to put up with worse console versions was because of how plug and play they were. All consoles have now are exclusives. Lol.

Old games: Games that are so purposefully obtuse that you need to read the manual to even know where to go and what to do. Games should be intuitive, especially old games which are simpler in nature due to tech restraints.

Lots of great MVS games are still pretty cheap. They were just absolutely dirt cheap for a stretch, but are climbing up just like anything in 2017.

Dreamcast VGA is awesome. Honestly it looks great on just about any random old VGA CRT monitor.

OSSC is a great product, streamlined for gaming. I do plan to get one eventually. Maybe two. Got a couple situations where I'd like to pair an OSSC with something else. I had been looking into an XRGB2 or 3 but I think I'd much rather have an OSSC and use something like an HDFury to hook it up to a CRT monitor.

The issue with old games you have is why we should play Kirby Super Star in November. It's not difficult to explain at all, and it also fits with Thanksgiving because Kirby likes food.

I'm looking for Shining Force II on Ebay and came across this GEM

To be clear, that is a "silver graded" game that is not factory sealed. It is graded by the company selling the game! They literally put a nice copy of Shining Force II in an acrylic case and put a $1600 BIN price on it. I can't get over this.

Golf Story IS awesome. I got it on release and have put about 10 hours in it. I adored Mario Golf on the GBC back in the day and this feels very similar, my biggest gripes with the game are some of the decisions they made around the golf mechanics. The writing and charm is super duper top notch. Highly recommended if you have a switch

If that Shining Force 2 got marked up by 1000% imagine how much any random sealed game could be worth.

Would you not want your sealed copy of BOTW that you bought with GameStop credit yesterday to be worth 500% more verified today and sold on eBay for BIN of +400%?!?

I never saw you as a reseller or a regurgitator (gah-ross @Gypsy)

You always give me great deals other people who are labeled as "just" resellers are simply not that either. Even from Gametz "resellers" I am always getting great deals I think the problem comes in when people don't "care" about product demand and scarcity which equals "huge profits for scalpers" most people on here don't buy with only the intention of reselling I don't believe. So if one person gets their one copy of LRG random game and charges less than eBay why is it okay for everyone to call him names and harass him constantly? It's getting ridiculous especially since I have bought so many great things from him under market value and he's always honest and upfront about everything.

I'm not a huge fan of capitalism right now in our current social and political climate but why on earth should someone sell a rare game at cost when he knows you wanna just turn around and eBay it for triple your damn self?

That's the greed on gametz or the entitlement or whatever. On nes and snes classics yeah those should be around cost because if they do keep their promise to keep making them it's a total dick move to gouge someone here for them first but if you made an extra 20 to 40 bucks over cost that should be totally acceptable too I would think.

Idk I can see both sides but there is no need to bully people into lowering "their" price. There is usually a lot of work and/or luck on the part of the seller to even get this stuff at cost so do they not deserve "anything" for their time and effort AND not getting current going values for their items? I think they deserve something even its just an extra 20 bucks.

Yes and I have heard that before I know he's not a reseller though, at least not in the demonizing sense that a lot of people who want you to give them stuff would have you believe.

Everything I have ever bought from Lunar is either just around or WAY below current market values. My point was that if you paid for a product and it's still valuable no one should expect you to just give it to them for way less or free.

@Lunar is a good dude. He tries to sell stuff here. I know on multiple occasions stuff he has listed here that didn't sell here later sold on eBay for almost double.

Not gross at all I live in California good sir,

In weird point of fact I was born and raised in the porn capital of the world, the San Fernando valley 😉 Now I just so happen to live in what is at times considered the "Meth" capital of the world. The Antelope Valley lol.

But yes people do expect to bend certain people over every time and it's out of hand here. So gross to some or not the description is completely apt for this conversation 😉

I mean, it's a pretty good game. There's not much exciting or frustrating to talk about. Castlevania has Death (and the hallway before him), NG has 6-2 and Jaquio. For @sharif Castlevania has Frankenstein. Those things are all doges. Maybe we need to pick hard games as a rule. Rename this thread "The Struggle Club".

Trust me I for one am aware and I'm not going to lie you have some of the highest quality stuff in an auction I've seen. Are these from your personal collection? I LOVE complete nes games. When I was a kid I never threw away the boxes sleeves or manuals. Not even the styrofoam

The very first game I ever bought with money I earned (maybe at all since I never had much money as a kid and is maybe why I want every available nes game) was the legend of Zelda on Nes.
So I really appreciate you putting up complete Nes games. I want to win at least one but it almost doesn't even matter which one. Just as long as I get something good and so does everyone who wants one.

Thanks @creagan

I always swap out broken cases for nice ones, and I keep nice extras around for the next time I come into broken ones. There's always more Sega cases to fix.

You can download my hinges on Thingiverse. I can print a few and send them to you if you want too, just let me know which ones you need. Keep in mind I literally have the cheapest 3D printer on the market and I'm not a designer, so they're not magic. Only sort of magic.

Do you think it would be possible to print a replacement latch for a jaguar CD player? I'm sure if I weren't so technologically slow I could probably Mickey Mouse something anyways just for my own use.

But that's a whole new level of ghetto or white trash that I'm not even sure I'm down to yet. I'm trying to think which famous character or person said something about all you need is duct tape to fix anything.

I'm really not sure I believe it broke off when that stupid raccoon knocked over the boxes and it was in one of them by itself for "safety" I'm sure it's simple but I haven't looked it up ever since I didn't know people had these at home.

I don't even remember what the latch looks like since I never paid it attention before. I think it's like a little plastic sliding hook that holds the disc door in place.

It will sync to a lot of crap. Inputs are BNC. Even SVideo has baller ass separated input in addition to a standard one.

Here is a pic of the back off google. image

I was hoping one would have a moon card in it, but no dice, so I'll have to use a processor or get an HDFury to use this for blu-rays (HD into device, output via VGA through the RGBHV BNC inputs).

Back on topic, @DefaultGen you are doing a wonderful public service mending crummy US Saturn case hinges. We who don't want to buy 42 copies of Last Gladiators to replace busted cases salute you.

Yeah, there are seemingly infinite cases to fix, but only a finite supply, which has driven even the cheap games up. The days of any CIB Saturn game for $3-5 each I think are long gone, just because of case gutting.

@Gypsy @DefaultGen I don't have access to a 3D printer. I'm guessing they don't weigh much, so I'd prolly like more than I need, somewhere around 15-20 pairs, making single case repairs cheaper from combined shipping. If either of you would be willing to let me know what it would cost, I'll definitely want to get some from one of you.

It takes 45 minutes to print one hinge, so 15 pairs would take like a week to print assuming I'm going to work and sleeping. I can send a few out if anyone here needs them, but if you need a buttload just buy a crappy 3D printer. You'll find all sorts of things to do with it!

Yeep, I didn't think it would be that time consuming. I also worry that Amazon seems to be swimming in returns on the cheaper printers, making me wonder about that. But even with a dirt cheap printer and a basic roll of filament, it'd still run me about $160, and I really don't have any other use for it. (The 6" cube limit prolly won't help, either...)

I'm sure you could think of cool things to do with it. I'll bet you could make all kinds of stuff. But how much is just the filament?

I found a 1kg roll of clear for $14, but it's backordered. I see white and black in that range also. Who knows, I may bite this bullet...

1kg goes a ways. My favorite comparison is that 1kg of filament can print about 400 chess pieces. And when you have a tiny printer, you're not printing too much bigger than that. I've got a Monoprice Select. I'm printing a bunch of hinges, but I probably walk past my printer to take off finished prints 3-4 times a day, so it won't be fast. Also they're white, cause that's all I got. If you don't want them, I'll use them eventually.

I'm interested in doing this to start just once for one particular project I had in mind. I want to see how many times I can wrap around Contra on my original set of 3 lives. Max I've ever done is 3 full wrap arounds and when I lost my spreader on level 4 on the fourth go round I shut off the game from sheer exhaustion. Maybe from there come up with some other fun ideas. In a much much serious way I wanted to tag team a short review for Totally Rad on the nes with a friend and just talk about how absolutely unrad it is. I think on that one I like the silly notion of it more than I actually wanted to do it.

I'll definitely tune into the you tube channels. I'll go up to the OP to get them now. Probably fall asleep to one of those guys playing castlevania from last month.

If DG can beat Ninja Gaiden in under an hour, Contra should be a piece of cake. I beat it first try in under 30 minutes. Though I have to admit, played that game to death as a child.

Here are some recent games I beat.

Difficulty Levels:

Ninja Gaiden - 8/10
Ninja Gaiden II - 7/10
Castlevania - 7.5/10
Bucky O'Hare - 6.5/10
Shadow of the Ninja - 6/10
Contra - 5/10

@Lunar I agree whole heartedly about level 5 on contra. More elements of surprise than most other levels though on the second and third wrap arounds the difficulty really takes a jump up. I'm almost always death free 1-4. 5 is the biggest challenge. 6-7 are tough well 7 is but again very fair. And 8 I usually take a cheap death. I can run through almost death free. My best run was recently didn't take a death until 2 deaths on the boss on 8.

I played last night and took a cheap death on 7 when playing the boss cause a dude who only runs from the right side of the screen 2 of 100 times ran through and killed me. Someday I'll beat it absolutely no deaths.

No matter what though I always accumulate more lives playing through than I ever die.

AVS is the way to go unless you are baller like @Lunar and have the Analogue NT mini.

Who here is in what camp?

OG NES toaster or toploader (even if it's RGB modded)

Vs

FGPA console (AVS and Analogue NT mini)

All my Retro systems are original and I use an old Admiral TV with only coaxial input.

If I could get an Analog NT with the HDMI, probably that? Or an NES with the HDMI mod probably. In absence of either, NES/SNES Classic have done very good work. Once SNESC's lid gets popped and it's open-ended, I think that'll be the end of it for me.

Don't get an Analogue Nt. The cart slot is crapty and I've had 3 games that don't work so far (despite it being original hardware). Graphical glitches/crashes in King of the Ring, Spot the Game, and Family Feud. An update fixed King of the Ring though. Also my front power light is starting to go bad. It flickers on and off now. The upscaling is so good, but the console is like Hyperkin quality in an aluminum brick.

I'm going to have to disagree with the cart slot, mine is nothing like the Retron quality. Having both systems, they are light years apart in that regard. I can't comment on the games you listed though as I don't own them but I haven't had a single issue with my NT Mini. The controller plug is a little tight for player one but other than that, it's been rock solid.

The Retron NES port didn't last long before it started scratching the connectors on my carts and I had to do a little surgery on it to remedy that problem. When that didn't work, I simply used a game genie on it and left it in the slot at all times until we finally stopped using it mainly because I moved all my original systems to the living room. This hasn't been an issue at all with the Mini. No crashes, glitches or other problems with software. I've also used the other "cores" in the jailbroken firmware with no issues whatsoever.

Maybe there was a revision or it might be a QC issue with some units. I'm 100% satisfied with mine, so much so that I don't even use my HiDef NES top loader at all.

I've got an Nt, not an Nt mini so they could be different. The Nt slot is loose as hell. Usually I start the console up, pick up the controller from behind the console, the cable lightly touches the cart, and the game freezes. I don't even understand how there are compatibility issues with games because it's supposed to be using a real PPU and CPU. It's not my carts, it happens with flash carts too.

I love Kevtris' work, but have zero faith in the Analogue guys. I can't wait for the Zimba 3000, whatever it turns out to be. If Kevtris' adapters for the Nt mini are good I still might get one of those though.

Also I have extremely high standards for it. It's 500 freakin' dollars. It should be perfect, light years ahead of everything else, but I still prefer my AVS.

Considering the QC issues that some really high quality monitors have, it wouldn't surprise me if there was a difference unit to unit with a relatively small project like this.

Gotcha, that makes much more sense now. Totally agree with the Zimba 3000, it can't get here fast enough as well as the adapters.

I do remember there were specific changes made to the cartridge slot starting with the Mini but I'm not sure they ever detailed exactly what they were. It was one of those "minor changes in design" type quotes. Agreed on the quality expected for the price and now a days I'm sure they don't support the original model either, correct?

Yeah, now that I understand it's the older model, sure could be especially with the original chips. It could be as easy as a problematic chip in that specific unit. Could be power related, trace route interference or any number of minor differences over the project lifespan and assembly practices. You'd think the QC would be working double time with a retail product though, but you know how that goes.

I'm sure my warranty is up anyway. I sure as hell wouldn't give a long warranty on something made from pillaged Famicom parts. Their support has been good in my experience though. They shipped me the wrong AC adapter to begin with, I emailed them and they had a new one shipped out without a couple hours. They also accidentally included a Famicom controller. I'm pretty sure I just got the wrong box. I'm going to 3D print a little insert for the cart slot to make it tighter, I just haven't gotten around to it. I do like it for the most part. I use both about equally, my AVS is for more "serious" gaming and my Nt is in my room when I'm just blowing through something before bed.

Also neither Nt is spaced correctly for the Four Score. I want my Four Score.

Like DG said, it's more about the cable extension and turbo...at least for me. I also don't like inserting/removing the controller in port 1 because it's super tight and don't want to run into problems with it down the line. I use both the regular controller and now have an NES Advantage that I'll want to swap back and forth for certain games. It'd be much better to leave the four score in all the time instead of putting wear and tear on the built in ports given the resistance level.

Lol lets not be too snotty about retron I have two original nes that stopped working on me this year and I'm going to eventually fix them, in the meantime however I will continue to play my nes games on my 20 dollar retron which works perfect other than a couple glitches on one of the ice island stages on Adventure Island 2 and the fact that you have to reset Ninja Gaiden 1 once after you power it on for the game to load up properly.

And it actually looks good so if my nes systems aren't working currently I'm really happy to still be able to play all these carts for as little as 22 dollars.

I am trying to be careful but even the first nes I got this year had the pins replaced and was super tight. And I have pin replacement I just would like to watch a YouTube walkthrough while I'm doing it so I don't screw everything up. Need to get internet first.

The supa boy I gave away had super tight pins too and didn't always work. Like the games had to be in the exact right place for it to read them. Super frustrating.

Nothing like that. It's like weird Persona mixed with some Fire Emblem mechanics. Also Fire Emblem characters are the persona. I personally enjoyed it.

Speaking of FE, FE Warriors is already shaping up to be a real crap show. Nobody past Awakening is said to be in the game, except for Lyn which they added in at the last second, and some of the ones from the first game/#FE, and the roster is stupidly packed with sword users, even though they told people they didn't want that when explaining why characters like ike won't be featured in the game.

I'm not into Musou, the only game I was even slightly interested in was DQW, bc it had some RPG elements. I'm looking forward to the next mainline FE on switch though for sure.

I don't blame you since I watched a video and they basically used everything on board that system that was in the American version. Even the box pics in the start up screen were the American box art. There were some differences but mostly in the look of the console itself. Plus I was half asleep the other night watching it. It made me really want both classic systems just for the cool extra stuff, not just for the games but a lot of the cool background customization and switching pixel settings.

I hope you enjoy yours sir! Don't forget to give us a mini review to let us know how you like it 😊

@Lunar is this new from last time you were scart switch shopping? They made a 3 scart switch for $40. I bought it, got it in, and it works great. Automatic switching and everything. I don't personaly need more than 3 scarts for one TV any way, so this is perfect.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&lo...

(for now I plan to have PS2, SNES, and Gen/CD on this TV + DC which uses VGA any way)

@ErickRPG, yea, that looks new. Did not see it when I was shopping for a scart switch. Though someone posted a pretty cool one earlier for about $50 that it in a acrylic case like the gscartsw

Ah cool would love to see that one. But this one does the job. The middle of my cabin is gonna look clunky with all the scart cables and stuff going to the OSSC. So I don't think what my scart switch looks like matters. lol.

I'm pretty excited though. I finally got my OLED displaying my old games. And I can still hook up 2 RGBs + an s-video system downstairs. I have quite a few systems hooked up at once. Now I don't have to keep putting systems back in the box all the time, haha!

Noooo. If you've got any decent gun 'n run experience it's a challenge and you'll have to restart a few times but it really AIN'T that bad. I finished the first map in a bit less than an hour, mostly blind (saw a few fights in Angry Joe Show, but it was usually him dying a few seconds later)

I think the main thing now is that most games are so damn easy that as soon as something new and remotely challenging comes along people are all ERMAGERD.

The way I equate to NG to requiring muscle memory and pixel perfect accuracy.

Surprised how relatively cheap the game is.

So are we just gonna call Ninja Gaiden the pinnacle of gaming difficulty? Is there no other (Gen 3 and 4) game that is harder than NG? (that is also fun to play?)

You can't add caveats specifically to exclude The Mutant Virus.

But there's also games like Arkanoid, High Speed, and Ikari Warriors.

Air Fortress is hard (can't get past level 4...) but it is pretty fun and has some interesting mechanics. Plus it's still cheap, being a self-published HAL game that's not Lolo 3.

Here's a good challenge. Outside of the ones we have beaten for Let's Play Together(Ninja Gaiden, Castlevania, Monster in My Pocket), Everyone can name one game that you think is hard and would be a good challenge.

In this case let's limit it to brand:::Nintendo Entertainment System NES/Famicom only.

I remember Bucky O'Hare as super hard when I was younger. Played with a couple of friends who were older than me, we took turns trying to beat it and couldn't. I also remember Batman was tough but don't remember if we ever beat it.

Uh what? Ninja Gaiden isn't even technically harder than the first Castlevania I played the living crap out of both. THE ONLY THING THAT MAKES NINJA GAIDEN SEEM HARDER IS THE 6-1 RESET!

You guys are giving that one punishing design flaw way more credit than it deserves. Other than that minor nuisance I can pass ninja Gaiden super fast Castlevanias bosses are far more difficult than ninja gaidens. But they both take precision timing and character placement to pass properly. Plus even with the Cheats in Castlevania it's still harder.

So, yea, I don't need a DVDO Duo, after some testing. It's just a bit excessive of a multimedia device that can also take S-Video, RGB, YPbPr and 8 whopping HDMI inputs, it can output to two different display sources.

For Sale: DVDO iScan Duo

This will just be the unit plus Power Supply. You will need your own BNC cables, Scart cables, and no remote sadly. We have a ton of upscaling experts here who can help guide you if you are new to this.

brand:::PayPal $220 shipped.

Well I think 50 is a fair price, thank you sir I wish I could afford it. But too many things being juggled for me now. Have you at least tried it out to allay some of the concerns people here might have?

That "might help" get it sold for the second plate minimum.
