new Thread Description
This thread was originally created to encourage traders here at GTZ to do more trading, especially retro related stuff. It has turned into a lot more and I am so grateful to everyone who contributed to this thread and have kept it going for nearly 6 months now. I hope this thread will continue to thrive and everyone who reads/participates in this thread will gain some value or knowledge out of it.

We will still have Trade lists up here, though it's been a while since anyone updated. I encourage everyone to look over their lists and post updates.
There is also a section for gorgeous pictures of game rooms that active participants of this thread have shared. Feel free to share some pics of your collection or game room.
I will be adding another section for information regarding video quality of retro gaming systems on modern displays and how to improve them.
There is rather some extensive discussion regarding how to improve the display quality of retro gaming systems and if you are new to this like I am, you will find it very informative.

Old Topic Description

GTZ has become a marketplace where the most commonly traded commodity is PayPal. I want to start an effort to get some trades going and to discuss some good games perhaps you never heard of or interested in but want to discover/know more of. For example, I just got intto shmups after years of ignoring the genre and I love to discover new(to me) and rediscover old ones(Sonic Wings comes to mind).

No pressure here. Feel free to discuss anything retro. Perhaps throw out some WTTF targets and what you have to offer. I am sick of browsing people's year old Available lists.

Some examples:

- WTTF/WTB/LF
- What you think is awesome game/series/whatever
- Potential games you have up for trade
- Pics of what you have/what you would love to get/what you think is the bestest awesomest game ever
- Show off your latest finds/adds to your collection

Well until i saw other peoples collection I figured mine was a decent size smile I prefer NES & SNES Games, but always looking at anything Lunar is selling. Probably the fanciest thing I have are some Unopened Atari Games i got back in the day. I love RPG's and the art of the boxes if that makes sense.

Just love collecting and finally talking to people about it

Yeah I thought about hitting you up too when I saw your post but I correctly assumed you needed the money for stuff sooner which I have tied up in auction payments.

But it really is a great deal 😊 I hope you get your money in time for Black Friday.

Buy everything. Don't stop until you own every game.

Or figure out where Lunar gets all his cool games and pull then out of that void.

@kevster welcome love to have ya. I also love RPGs and box art so I do know what you meant. Check out my collection page. I use gametz to track my collection because I like that they have little box art pictures, haha. It's a nice little collection tracker, and the bonus is the community here. Some times when I'm lounging at my computer I just look through my gametz collection.

I don't know if you feel like it, but if you add your collection here let me know and I'll check it out. If any of the games do not have box art the thing I love is they let the users upload a box scan. (you can easily just borrow one from amazon or google images. smile

Is a monitor a video source. Maybe I don't understand the question.

If you need a small HDMI monitor check displaylag.com. Monitors are much faster than TVs.

@PlayYing I'm looking to get a new 144hz monitor, though it's not for retro games. If you are using monitor mostly for retro, then you don't need top of the line, shouldn't even be larger than 24"(perfect size IMO), and if you like pew pews and I know you do, then get one that can easily turn into portrait mode.

I never had a 4GB, I guess they came before I got a vita. I have 8, 32 and 64 cards. So the 8 isn't ever used.

My 64 is full, but I have allot of free games from PSN.
