new Thread Description
This thread was originally created to encourage traders here at GTZ to do more trading, especially retro related stuff. It has turned into a lot more and I am so grateful to everyone who contributed to this thread and have kept it going for nearly 6 months now. I hope this thread will continue to thrive and everyone who reads/participates in this thread will gain some value or knowledge out of it.

We will still have Trade lists up here, though it's been a while since anyone updated. I encourage everyone to look over their lists and post updates.
There is also a section for gorgeous pictures of game rooms that active participants of this thread have shared. Feel free to share some pics of your collection or game room.
I will be adding another section for information regarding video quality of retro gaming systems on modern displays and how to improve them.
There is rather some extensive discussion regarding how to improve the display quality of retro gaming systems and if you are new to this like I am, you will find it very informative.

Old Topic Description

GTZ has become a marketplace where the most commonly traded commodity is PayPal. I want to start an effort to get some trades going and to discuss some good games perhaps you never heard of or interested in but want to discover/know more of. For example, I just got intto shmups after years of ignoring the genre and I love to discover new(to me) and rediscover old ones(Sonic Wings comes to mind).

No pressure here. Feel free to discuss anything retro. Perhaps throw out some WTTF targets and what you have to offer. I am sick of browsing people's year old Available lists.

Some examples:

- WTTF/WTB/LF
- What you think is awesome game/series/whatever
- Potential games you have up for trade
- Pics of what you have/what you would love to get/what you think is the bestest awesomest game ever
- Show off your latest finds/adds to your collection

Xboxes are pretty fickle. I have sticky notes on each of mine so I don't forget which is which. One is just totally shot for reading discs.

Really it's about the compatibility, being able to perfectly play any Xbox game. If the 360 had true 100% bc I'd say chuck OG Xboxes in the trash.

The fan is making loud noises and I think its scratching discs on my formerly trusty xbox after getting it out of storage, i got it at a yard sale years ago for $2, it has an orange sticker skin and used to have some sort of mod chip dangling out of it that didn't do anything, but that got ripped out at some point, and I soft modded it. But I have two more xboxes so its whatever.

I put up a few more slightly interesting games. That's almost everything in my apartment, other than a couple of Game n watches I'm thinking of listing tonight (anyone interested in those?) and some systems, I'll be bringing more from storage and listing it probably tomorrow.

There is a discount if you get the games here instead of on ebay

I have...like exactly 1 PCE game left. 3 TG CD games...of which I am keeping. I'm imagining it's one of those you are looking for.

Sega Saturn MSX Collection...$70.

Attention Hoarders:

Sometimes a quick Wikipedia read will let you know if you actually like the game you've been hoarding for the past 10 years but haven't actually ever played it.

Case in point: Tales of the Worlds: Radiant Mythology...offline MMO? No thanks.

Counterpoint: I am going to keep and play through Star Ocean 1 and 2 for PSP as well as Valkyrie Profile Lenneth.

Is there an English patch for Saturn Snatcher? The Sega CD version was officially localized so I didn't think anyone went to the trouble.

Subtract $25 from any of these listings shipped and they're yours instead. Honor system on shipping charges! Also I'm pretty sure the PS2's a 250gb, will confirm when I fire it up. I'll take $60 off if you want two of them!

Such an enabler DG! Thank god I just read the Power of Now, no more hoarding and endless backlog...the present moment is the only and real moment. All I need is 1 or 2 games and the rest is expendable.

"Make the Now the primary focus of your life."

The future is not real, just a projection created by your mind(ego)!

Do I sound like I just joined a crazy cult?
