Man, I ask you nicely and even say please, and you don't even bother. Sigh.ninesalone wrote:

Well, let's see. The six countries he's blocked are predominantly dark skinned (and Muslim.) He keeps referring to Mexicans as being bad, and what image do most people have of Mexicans? Brown skin. The majority of both illegal aliens and legal immigrants from Mexico are dark skinned. The way he words his attacks only tells his followers that we're ALL bad. Oh wait, "And some, I assume, are good people."
Are you really ignoring the fact that Mexicans have been hated in a similar way as Black people have? Sure, we didn't have it nearly as bad as they did (and still do), but every one of my older family members who grew up in the US have suffered racial profiling and insults because their parents were Mexican. My mom told me she was treated like dirt during her youth by all sorts of people, IN CALIFORNIA, late 50s / mid 60s. I've been insulted for my skin color as well. I've gotten yelled at, called names that have been used as racist insults against people of Mexican origin.
But no, Trump isn't saying we're all bad, no he's not. You have absolutely NO IDEA how we're treated because of our skin color, because our accent is a little funny, because we mess up a word here and there.
I won't say I haven't been treated nicely by the average American, because I have. But I've also been hurt enough to keep my guard up.
That 30% you mention that voted for Trump...
The week after the voting results, a bunch of Latino people in my hometown suddenly started treating other Latinos like dirt, and saying crap about illegal immigrants. Because Trump won. One of my favorite aunts growing up also ended up being super racist against non-white Mexicans when she got older.
This racial bullcrap isn't a white only thing.

That's nice. Have you asked your friend about the Indian engineer that got killed in a bar a couple of weeks ago?

Again: I'm not in the left. I'm conservative. I was raised that way, by Mexican parents who were also VERY conservative.
Bah, why did I bother typing all this? I already know you're just going to ignore it. Fudge it, I'm going to bed.
