My reply was in response to finding peace in life, not in how to find an escape to life.

I finally cashed in and got Dead of Winter: Long Night and Scythe. I have yet to open them, but I've played Scythe once as a friend of mine visiting from another state brought it with him. It is a pricey game, but a lot of fun and I had no trouble seeing strategies and implementing them on the first game. In fact I even won against two others who were experienced at the game! I'm looking forward to cracking both open and jumping in!

Actually there is a great deal going on right now for PIA HERE if you use "50LEARN" for 50% off.

- 1 year for $17.48
- 3 years for $44.98
- 5 years for $69.98

I too use PIA. I have a VPN in order to watch sports. I purchase both NFL and NBA international league passes every year. But I use the VPN to place me outside of the US in order to watch the games with full DVR functionality (so lame that we have to jump through hoops in order to have something so basic).

So I stream video all the time through the VPN and I will say that PIA started off really good, but has progressively gotten worse. I have a very fast cable internet service so I shouldn't have any issues streaming.. But there are times when I have to jump around to a bunch of different countries to find a decent stream, sometimes failing to find any. Recently I've been selecting Mexico and it has been good so I'll ride that stream until it starts to show signs of slowing down. I'm not sure if it is because PIA is becoming more and more popular with heavier traffic, or if PIA ends up throttling you. It's not like I watch an excessive amount through the VPN. It amounts to maybe 5 games per week tops.

I've never used either of those but I have been a long time Logitech remote user. The Harmony One was the best remote ever made. Mine finally crapped out on me and I moved over to the Harmony 650. If you are new to the world of universal remotes (the good ones, not the cheap ones), I would highly recommend that you keep and use the Harmony Touch. The biggest mistake that consumers make when it comes to their home theater system is to not invest in a good remote. This is odd to me because this is how you interact with all of your gear. This should be one of the most important pieces in your set up.

Yep. That concept goes against what the Bible says:
Ecclesiastes 9:5 - "The living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing."

It's the reason why Job begged to go to hell when he was enduring such terrible atrocities in his life. He said at Job 14:13 "Protect me in hell." Why would he want to go there if all that was there was eternal torture? Sounds worse than the situation he found himself in.

In fact, Jesus went to hell (Acts 2:31).

Finally, all of this contradicts John 4:8 which tells us that "God is love." A loving God would not create a place where torture would go on forever.

Not sure if you were joking or not, but hell is not what most have been led to believe.

There is no such thing as a fiery place where people burn forever. That concept is in stark contrast with the scriptures. This fiery hell can be traced by to over 2,000 years prior to the birth of Jesus, back to the Babylonians who believed in an underworld that they called the Land of No Return. This pagan teaching was eventually adopted by the church as a scare tactic in convincing people to go to church and give their money.

I just picked up a really nice haul off of Craigslist:
- Small World (with all of the expansions)
- Robo Rally
- Game of Thrones: The Board Game
- Lords of Waterdeep

All in very good condition for a total of $80. I have no interest in Game of Thrones and Lords of Waterdeep. So I traded them in, along with a couple of other board games for $132 in store credit and will be using that to probably get Star Wars Imperial Assault and Dead of Winter: Long Night.

LOL!

You don't really want a deal if you are only limiting yourself to AT&T and nothing else.

If you wanted a deal, you should have gotten in on the deal I posted a couple of weeks ago HERE. My wife and I are loving our new phones!

Shadows Over Camelot is a game that I've had on my wanted list for about 6 months now. It is a game I want to play almost as much as Dead of Winter. If a BOGO deal ever hits, I'll probably be all over both of those!

I'm not sure where you live, but you are getting screwed on your internet service! I pay $40 a month for speeds around 100 mbps. You only need 25 mbps for 4K streaming. You should reconsider your plan and save yourself some dough.

Consider the cost. A TiVo will come with a monthly fee in order to have a guide. This is necessary because otherwise you would have no DVR functionality. The purpose of cord cutting is to reduce the price which is why I went with a Channel Master. Their equipment comes with a free guide. It works well for me!

Does this service have DVR functionality? I'm looking into Set TV right now but I can't find any information about it and their customer service chat has simply ignored my question.

I cut the cable 2 years ago. The family replaced it with Netflix and Hulu (they actually did that long before I cut it). However, sports are a big pain! There is a lot of jumping through hoops to watch what I want. I spend about a total of $200 a year to get an NBA package and NFL package. I get both legit (Gamepass and League pass). But the quality is mediocre and that's at what they consider "Highest" quality. I'm watching on a 60" screen and I always miss cable! I'm hoping that one day that increase their quality as more people cut the cable and start investing in this service.

So it all depends on what you are planning on watching.
